Cool video and great sketches! Sound is great and nice camera work showing the views while you work. You have good awareness to not fiddle too much with the sketch-not easy to do.
Looking at your video, I can see what they mean by "Cornish light" - it's fabulous. We get good light on the Isle of Wight, but this is something else again. Much enjoyed your sketching with casein - a paint I've never yet tried. (I'd have shot the damn' drone down, given half a chance....)
I’ve only been painting a year or so. But watching you paint is so inspiring. You make it look effortless. I’ve learned a lot about relaxing into the process from your videos. Thank you!
Nice sketches Andrew… I’m down here (Nr Perranuthnoe at the moment)… sketchbook already in action. Will pop up to Truro, to see your exhibition, while we’re here. Mick. 😊
@@AndrewBarrowmanArt Hi Andrew, travelled up to Truro today, to view your exhibition. Fabulous range of pictures... many being familiar, as you've made YT videos on their plein air creation. My favourite was the large picture (No.11 on your catalogue), 'Mylor Creek Sunset'... it's simply stunning. Several pictures have already sold and I wish you every success with the rest of the exhibition. Mick. P.S. Have you thought about creating limited edition prints... I'd be a buyer!
Wow again! Loved the video! Nice atmosphere! The wind and the sound of the gulfs . Nice sketching. Caseïne. It is a long ago when I used it. Try again?
Hi Andrew! Would you give us some tips on casein? I got a set of primaries and they smell 😅 but it’s been too cold where I am to take them outside. I am trying to teach myself to paint with them and with gouache, I have some experience with watercolour but mixing casein seems a lot trickier… You seem to be using them almost like watercolour here, I shall try that. 😊
I hope to do a video about my sketching materials, including casein, next week. Getting the colours is tricky with casein but they can be overlaid very quickly which is fun
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ обожаю вас и ваши работы❤

Yes the light is something else here.
I agree about the drone. They are a menace!

P.P.S. the sketch, on the bottom shelf of the display cabinat (black & white on cardboard) is fabulous... ditto your sketchbooks!
Thank you for travelling up to the exhibition Mick - I appreciate your comments and support. I’ll let you know if I do any ltd ed prints
Thank you. I intended to frame it but ran out of time 😃

Glad you enjoyed it Jan and thank you for watching - definitely try casein again. It's really good for outdoors
Thanks, Andrew.
You're welcome Bob
You'll need to keep a spare pair of specs in your paint kit 😉
That would be great 👍🏻 x
Those pesky drones!
Damn nuisance aren’t they

@@AndrewBarrowmanArt Thank you Andrew! I’ll keep an eye out! :)
Where do you get your casein paint? I couldn’t see it on Jacksons…
Try Norwich Art Supplies online or a starter set (which is what I got) on Amazon 👍🏻
