***** About Living Traditions Homestead *****
Living Traditions Homestead is all about living a simple and sustainable way of life. We believe the world has gotten too “busy” and that people are missing out on many of the true blessings this world has to offer. We started as a small urban homestead in Gilbert, AZ and after the city grew up around us, decided it was time leave corporate America and take a big leap of faith by moving our family to the Missouri Ozarks.
We put out new videos every week! We hope you will become part of our homestead family by subscribing to our channel and watching as we give up the rat race and live simpler, more fulfilling life in the country.

They love that Kevin came into the cage with them. We are raising 2 IPP’s now named John Hamm and Kevin Bacon. They go to freezer camp the end of July. I love that we are raising our food.
I love those names! Made me laugh....
😂
My brother raised a pig as a 4H project. She had a great personality. She and our dog would run up and down the wire fence between them. I'm not sure if she thought she was a dog or the dog thought he was a pig, but they really enjoyed each other's company.
The dog would run up to you and plop down at your feet to have his belly rubbed. So the little piglet adopted the same practice. It was really cute until she got up to 350 lbs. Then you have to jump back to avoid getting your feet crushed.
Good morning everyone! The IPP's are a fantastic breed! Always good to see new life come to the farm! On a keto note: made coconut and strawberry popsicles for my granddaughter's birthday today. So good! ( 1 can coconut cream, 1 can coconut milk, 1lb frozen strawberries, thawed and drained, 1/3 tsp pure stevia powder, blend together) Hope everyone has a great weekend 😁
Thank you for the recipe!
@@user-bo1rj2xu2s YAW! 😁👍 I had to sample some before it was poured into the molds. Oh my goodness, yum! I thought adding a little vanilla would be good too, but forgot to put it in!
I think Kevin and Sarah may give that recipe a try either this summer or next year when the strawberries come in!!
Yum! Sounds great!
@@mindycollier9087 😊 I think it would make good ice cream too, but I do not have an ice cream maker...
They are soooooo cute!! ❤😊
Some of my favorite videos i used to watch from this channel included ghe pigs. I am still convinced that sarah and kevin had the happiest pigs of any channel.
We always try to raise happy animals! Thanks for the kind words.
How wonderful about the Toro mower! That will definitely help with time for sure 😊The piglets are adorable ❤ and happy you were able to have Linda's offspring 😀 Very excited to see how they grow❤
I like little pigs . Glad you got some . Something else to watch . Fresh pasture raised meat . Yum Yum . Seeya
So cute. Linda did a good job!
Oh my goodness!!!! They are sooooooo adorable!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Could you imagine having 10 babies at once?? 😱😂 Go Linda!!
Those pigs are adorable
God bless you all
We alwa y s used metal troughs for out pigs! They worked well for us
Hope it works well for you. We just built a bit of a wooden frame to put the trough in. Pigs love fruit too! If you have farm stands or vegees and fryit that the local store cant sell the p*gs love them! And are fun to watch them chase melons and such around before they break them open!
Your homestead may feel complete for now but at some point those wheels will possibly be turning and you'll be itching to add some new animals (a different breed of ducks, chickens, etc...)!! That Toro mower is what professional landscapers use and it will be nice to be able to mow through damp grass and twigs!! Those piglets are adorable!! Hopefully we will get to see how the blackberry bushes, raspberry bushes, and the orchards are doing!! Take Care and God Bless!!
Love your comment & look forward to Saturday morning to take it all in! My property is only big enough for a garden, chickens & a few turkey. So you fill that void for the rest of my farming desires 😂
What a wonderful way to wake up and enjoy my first cup of coffee! 😊 They are so so cute! I look forward to watching them play and grow. Thanks guys for sharing and can't wait for the name reveals. 😊
Week ago, tomorrow we had 8 Berkshire piglets. They are a blast to watch.
I love that seat on the mower. It’s just like our seats in the semi trucks. Shock absorbers are needed for sure! Good call Toro!
PS those piglets are so darn cute! 🐷❤
Those pigs are going to have a good life and grow up to provide good food for you family.
Your little piglets are cute! They are each other's security- shoulder to shoulder. So cute.
So cute! Blessings!
Toro - the Cadillac of lawn mowers! Love your videos. Thanks for sharing with us. God bless.
Happy Father's day, Brother
Love these videos with new life coming to the homestead. I remember the video where you and family were going to move the pigs to another pasture. They got away! It was so funny and I loved it! You guys were successful in gathering them up, but boy!! lol….it was a moment for all!! It was a great video…like all your videos..Happy Father’s Day Kevin! ♥️
We just still love you guys after ALL these years! ❤😊
I wonder if huge, large washers would be good with those lag bolts, too? Maybe? 💖🙏
So cute!😀 Thank you for sharing! Take care!
Ugh. My turn to mow today too. 🤪 Stay hydrated friends, the heat is turning it up! Those piggies are so cute 😀
Really enjoyed watching 👍👍
Timid and Bashful ❤
Nice to see the piglets.
Exciting week of pigs arriving! They now are using a crate, I enjoyed last year when the pigs arrived in an extra large pet taxi. I guess this tells you I have followed you several years now. lol. Now to watch these boys grown up until butcher time. Have a blessed week!
mulberry and fig are great names .
Love watching the piglets.
One of the main reasons people love the IPPs is that, for a larger pig, they are easy and relatively safe as full size breeder pigs and the babies get to harvest size almost as fast as the typical breeds(which are more dangerous when they are at breeding stock size). I think it says a lot that Kevin and Sarah purchase IPP feeder pigs instead of typical breed feeder pigs.
Those piglets are so stinking cute.
Good morning! I was just enjoying a cup of coffee when i noticed you had a new video. Just when i thought your homestead family couldn't get any cuter, yes I think Watson is cute, you introduce us to your piglets. Are you going to be naming them? What a fantastic way to start a dreary Saturday morning here in Vancouver BC. Thanks to you both for putting a huge smile on this wrinkly somewhat older face! Have a wonderful day.
The pigs look great. I saved the link to Gilbert Farm. Cant wait to start raising pigs on my own.
Congrats on getting the great Toro mower. The piglets are so cute.
What a wonderful blessing that new mower is. We saw them at a dealership a few weeks ago and I would sure love one but they aren’t in our budget at this time. Happy mowing.
Those are good looking piglets.
Wishing all viewers a heartwarming and joyful experience! May you feel the sense of fulfillment and happiness as the homestead journey reaches a beautiful milestone. Enjoy the serenity and completeness of this wonderful moment! 🏡✨
Ahh these little piglets are so cute will enjoy watching them as they grow
SO look forward to your videos! The two of you are a hoot (in a good way!) LOL Keep doin' what you're doin', ok?
I'm glad you guys got a part of Lynda back!!! God Bless Us All!!!
I knpw you are in the Ozarks, but Missouri is my home state until 2015 when we moved to Alaska. My late husband and I, along with my late son, actually lived very close to Hermann Missouri in earlier years. It brings a little smile to hear of places i know so well.
I’m gonna have togo back and watch the vids I missed! You have a garage, a driveway, and who knows what else!
Great little piglets that you are now raising! Also, a kind lady & beautiful children. Blessings & thanks for sharing! 🤗🇨🇦
Maybe you should weld some rebar crossways on the short side to keep the pigs from laying in the trough.👍
So nice you got the pigs that were from the stock y'all raised. Have they been visiting the feathered neighbors next door? LOL. Great looking lawn mower Kevin. I can see this will save y'all a lot of time. Thanks for sharing. Have a Happy Father's Day Kevin....and a Blessed week.
Fun to se the piglets on the farm. So cute, they have found the feed for sure. All the best!
Great seeing the piglets arrive again. They will provide lots of fun watching them grow and then when it's time they will provide your families with lots of nutritional foods. Stay safe and keep having fun around there raising your own foods. Fred.
Glad to see some piggies back..
Your dedication to building and nurturing your homestead is truly inspiring. Thanks for sharing this milestone-it's wonderful to see your vision come to life and your happiness shine through!
They are adorable ❤
Full circle! How fun and such cute little pigs. ❤
OMG those piglets are adorable.
I have missed you breeding them, but understand your decisions😊
So cute little guys. I just named them Tip and Skip! LOL
Love this video and so happy you have new piglets ❤❤❤
Love see-ing the piggies back on your homestead.
Love IPP's as well, y'all have been prayed for and over. Blessings ❤
Another great day on the Homestead! Love the IPP's... so cute at this age! Blessings Kiddos!🌻🐛Carolyn in Ohio 🌿💚🙏💕
I still had to put steel crossmembers in my feeding trough because they wanted to lay and sleep in it .
Suggestion. If you lag bolt the bottom and back of the trough, the trough will act as a brace.
Always look forward to every video, great job as usual. 😃
Isn't there a danger of the pigs feet going through the holes in the water pallet, getting stuck and possibly causing panic and a broken leg?? I had a chicken break her leg that way so I always worry about that happening.
Lumnah Acres just got 4 piglets also!
Love the piggies. Awesome video guys.
Living in n. e Washington when we had pigs all we raiised were Idaho pigs! Very friendly animals!
They look so sweet
You guys are great people and have a great farm set up . We can’t wait to start our journey next spring
Good morning
Piglets, soooooo cute.
Some of the cutest bacon I've ever seen. Such a GREAT home!
🐖❤️🐖 Do we all need to send you a supply of MARSHMALLOWS?!? I remember, in years past, that’s the way you got acquainted with your piglets! It’ll be wonderful to see the pigs progress on your farm again!!! 🐖❤️🐖
Hey y'all! Those little piggies are so cute! I can smell the bacon now. Kevin, how much time did the mower knock off on your chore? Can one person/mower do it quicker now? It looked pretty quick. Blessings, Texas Deb ❤
Put a couple of holes for letting the water out
So fun to see the babies.
Wow, there's a Gilbert Farm here in East Tennessee! Those are good people.🧡
Didn't Kevin have a goatee?😄Took 2 videos to put my finger on what was different. As always, 💕Living Traditions Homestead!
Good afternoon! Nice mower. Piglets are so much fun!!
Thanks for sharing!
I just love your videos. Even watching Kevin mow! Blessings to you all! Good luck with your piglets!
I enjoy so much.
How wonderful to have Lindas offspring back on the farm. Enjoy that Torro mower. Hopefully will make your work easier.
They look like the pig version of the Bernese Mountain Dog you got some Bernese mountain pigs lol they are so cute
Cute little piggies. I love how excited you both are about them.
Glad you're having piglets back know you will enjoy them. Thank you for sharing.
I’m in Hickory County MO, and looking to raise feeder pigs myself. I’ll be contacting your pig farmer. Thanks for another great show! Love you guys! God Bless! 🌳👊😃🌳
🙏🏻🙏🏻❤️
Well, I'm thinking we're going to try to raise 2 piglets next year. One for our family and one for my brother and sister.
You’ll love it!
Cute little piglets! The mower is awesome.
❤❤❤they've sure made themselves at home!! Love Sarah's shirts.❤❤❤
We used to use those half tanks for calf feeders.
God bless you and your family and friends for all that you do and share with us. Just know you make a lot of people smile everyday with you videos. 🤩💛🙏
Congrats on the new piglets, Take care and God's Blessings.
I have not been able to find a feeder that the pigs don't tear up. This will be my last year raising pigs I have 9 piglets that are now 3 months old and have not been able to sale them they are yorkshire and old spots It seems like here in Arizona people aren't interested in pigs like they once were
Cute pigs. The surehavea nice pasture.
I love your new piglets. Have you named them yet.
May I suggest Winkin and Blinkin
Congrats on the new mower! Congrats on the piglets. First time I can recall seeing the front of the house as you drive in - very nice. Good video.
Can I make a suggestion to help keep grass from growing up and shorting out your fence? Dig out any grass under your fence and put down some weed fabric and no grass should grow again.
Whoohoo! Pig time!
