- When I'm getting ready for a long morning run, or setting off on a R3 trek of the Grand Canyon, baked oatmeal is my go-to breakfast. It sticks to my body and keeps me full for those hard workouts. This baked oatmeal recipe is great for a family breakfast... or use it as a quick meal prep tool (just bake once, then enjoy apple cinnamon oatmeal all week!).

00:00 Intro
00:16 Add 1 c chopped pecans to casserole dish
00:18 Toast 3-5 mins
00:20 Pour 2 c almond milk in separate dish
00:23 Add 1/2 c maple syrup to almond milk
00:24 Add 1 chopped apple.
00:26 Add 1/2 c applesauce.
00:28 Add 2 tbsp ground flaxseed
00:30 Add 2 tsp vanilla extract
00:34 Let sit for 5 mins
00:37 Grind 1 c of oats
00:42 Add to 2 c of oats
00:43 Add 2 tsp cinnamon to oat mixture
00:45 Add 1 tsp baking powder to oat mixture
00:47 Add 1/2 tsp sea salt
00:48 Mix dry ingredients
00:51 Mix wet ingredients into dry
00:56 Mix oat mixture with toasted pecans in casserole dish
00:58 Top with chopped apples
01:01 Sprinkle 3 tbsp of coconut sugar on top
01:03 Bake for 45 minutes at 375 degrees F

Looks good will make. I don't have coconut sugar. How many calories is this.
It has 450 calories per serving and you can swap the coconut sugar for brown sugar.
