Kevin, always appreciate the tips and the ideas you have to offer thanks for sharing much appreciated.
I've just started power Carving and bought a foot pedal the type that stays on until do a second tap to shut off, my question is can I run my vacuum as well as my drumel at the same time with the foot pedal proving I use an adapter to accommodate two plugs
Thanks gpdory from Michigan
I guess that would depend on your power supply? if you have enough amps and aren't popping any breakers i guess you would be fine. Just watch out for things getting too hot. I'm not an electrician though so i would ask someone who is more knowledgeable in such things.
Thanks Kevin as always much appreciated
I like the difference
Kevin, Thanks for this series of tutorials. I'm really new to carving and learning a couple things I didn't know I didn't know. Some of it revolves around Dremel Tools; specifically their bits and burrs. Living here in Northern California, finding these items is getting a little difficult. Seems both the blue and the orange big box stores have all but stopped stocking these things and a limited supply of the Dremel machines as well. Have you heard anything about about any shortages or issues with Dremel?
Additional question: When using your Dremel, which type of foot controller do you prefer. On and off or variable speed.
Thanks
Ron O.
Your welcome Ron , I haven't heard of any shortages yet but I do know shipping and trucking was slowed down by covid. As far as that goes you can always find Dremels and rotary bits and burs on Amazon (Check my links in the description) if you search you'll find what you want, hope that helps. As far as a foot pedal I use a Fordom foot pedal that allows you to jog or go full speed no matter what tool you are using. Hope this helps too bud keep carving.
Fun
Yaay lol
Kevin could you do a drawing with a braided mustache and beard kind of like a viking wood spirit please
Sounds interesting and different, I'll see what I can do Jake. Thanks for the request.
Are there groups on platforms other than FB?
