when i was a kid my eldest brother took me to see a wooden ship from the 17 century or so. There was plenty of woodcarving on that ship and it always impressed me. I love watching you work! Really want to follow a course so i can learn how to make my own decorative items for home. The things I want seem very hard to find =/ better to make your own then... unique =)
Great video, helps me a lot!
Thanks for sharing!
Are you the carver that did Willie Nelson. I saw it somewhere and screenshot it because of it being a true master piece. After watching several of your carving videos I realized you could be the artist. Whether are or not you are still a very great carver and serious artist. Thank you for sharing. I try to emulate great carvers and I am glad I found your channel.
Спасибо за урок 👋
Looks easy when you do it :)
Hello Alec, how important is it that you know the exact size, both shape and width, of the tools you are using? Or is it that you are calling them out for the viewers? Thank you.

After sanding I take it that you don't go back over the beard with any tools? I'm thinking the grit would dull the edges rather quickly.
I try to avoid it, although sometimes I do go back over the sanded parts!
