The wording you use is so calming, easy to understand. I'm going to try to make this one for my son, a surprise for him, lol. Thank you for your time in this video, right on, and to the point. 🇺🇸 God Bless America 🇺🇸
Love this! I appreciate people like you who take the time and effort to help the rest of us learn. I love goffy looking faces! They make me smile. Thank you bunches. I'm from Montana and have a stash of cottonwood bark to carve faces and cottage houses.
This awesome I always wondered how you did eyes. The micro bit was something I never thought of, and using a detail knife to shape helps a lot, I really appreciate this video this will hep immensely
Why haven't I seen these vids before,I'm trying to watch them in order but u-tube have different ideas about putting things in the correct order. Really enjoyed the tutorial, thankyou so much for sharing. Going to my mancave(shed in back garden) to attempt you're wost 🏴💎🏴
Wow, was just surfing the wood carvers and stopped on yours, i use the Dremel but i sure picked up a lots of tips for there's two videos ? Thanks ,I rang the bell.. See Ya, Texas
Awesome tutorial Kevin from the initial concept, shows you how planning out your carving can really help you improve as an artist & keeps you moving forward. Thanks for sharing buddy
Kevin thank you for the 2 videos they were awesome I like using the knife but have to get more confident in using them, I really got into the drawing from watching your videos, thank you once again and carve on.
Kevin, when you pick up Burr, or change a b u r r, you should show us a close-up of it, which would be helpful for those of us who want to learn. Sometimes you just say " round Burr" . There are literally dozens of brown b u r r types and we don't know which specific one you are talkin about! Is it a diamond tip? Does it have small blades on it? It is difficult to know. Thanks for all your videos, they are great to watch. Although, sometimes a closer shot when you are drawing or showing carving details would be nicer. Very difficult to see when the camera is a little too far away and sometimes focuses on the handpiece instead of the carving. Hope you don't mind me telling you all this, I say this in the spirit of improving your valuable contributions to us! . Best wishes, and thanks again.
All of your comments and insight helps Jay , after all , I'm here for you guys to learn not me to just carve. Any of the burrs I use when I say Dremel are just that, a basic Dremel ball cutter, they are all different sizes but nothing specific about the flutes. anyone of them should work. If I use a diamond burr though I thought I specified that one that one? I will try to show examples closer up for you guys of the bits and burrs. I'm Trying to get a better camera setup now but definitely let me know if you have trouble seeing anything boss. Thanks again for your input.
lol, The dentist bits have there place, just don't use them as much as I would a carving bit. They're are many carving bits on the market. They come in handy around the nose and such and can be useful.

Where do you get this type of wood? I haven't been able to source any good wood like that. Just scraps from downed trees which are super hard ie oak.
Hey Kevin great old buddy .
Thanks Glen
My knives are therapudical and silent. Rotory tools are for profit carving. Fast removal but is so loud and annoying. Love my blades.
Tangan yang kreativ joooos gandos👍

@@stixandstonescarving I appreciate your response, and thank you for your efforts.
Every hunk of wood takes the same tool differently. Never be hesitant to try a different bit blade or aproach.
Great apart from the dentist bit😂
