I've said it before ... I don't do resin but I love watching you. You have that something special - relaxing with good explanations that are so relatable.

Nice job. However, the ones that I have seen have the decorations on dangling chains. I think your decorations would look awesome dangling.

Ooh I especially like the leaf dangly one 🤩 I’ve never seen them attached the way u did. But I have seen them attached with tiny jump rings. This looks cool too tho if u don’t have access to them ☺️ very pretty Steve 🙌🏼
The only ones I have seen have only had dangles on each teir but these are cool too, like the leaves. I'd hang with longer chains myself though. Fun!
You can also attach all the little bits on different length chains and hang the chains off of each loop.

If you plan on making them to sell you either need to make the decorations stick out farther or what everyone else is doing is like dangle earrings. Hanging them on the same length of chain so it's a cascade down the side of the neck.

@Steve McDonald Arts and crafts I know you you don’t like to use alcohol inks in resins but I was wondering if you would do an experiment using
Pigment based inks in resin. Pigment inks like the name suggested has pigment in it unlike alcohol ink which has more of a dye so in theory a pigment, a ink won’t be as susceptible to Sun bleaching.

I’m sure I used to have a couple of ear cuffs when I was younger. It’s so cool you can gets blanks to decorate though, absolutely love the leaf one, the dangle on it looks so cute. You modelled them wonderfully 💖💖
You might be interested in this idea. I make beads from paper but hah hah I thread fine wire through the inside and plait it on the outside down the bead and resin them. Heee

Have made these for years but I use precious metals and gemstones. Have never tried resin. But would significantly lower end price. Too many friends allergic to alloy metals. Cute cuffs. Been wicked sick. Finally feeling almost normal again. ❤

Is UV resin better in thin or small molds? I've had the hardest time with it bubbling up under the hardened cured layer while curing. My deep or think angel 😇🪽turned out more of a pixy 🧚♀️
Why wouldn't you use jump rings?
Sweet but you really need short hair to show off the backs. I am going to check if you can get ones that just have a dangle on them. My granddaughters had their ears pierced and they have to wait to change out their earrings. Also, a question I saw a video you did about a month ago where you put resin on two commissioned acrylic pours on canvas. You used a torch instead of a long neck lighter. I assume it was because there was no silicone mold involved, but I wanted to check with you, Thanks
Yep, no silicone mould so okay to use a torch 😀
I wear these in place of pierced ears, and it's very easy to add a bit of chain with a ring ot decoration on the loops. I buy dangle earrings and replace the earring wire with a lobsert clasp and clip it to one of the lower two loops on the cuff. Most of the time people don't even notice that I don't have regular earrings on!
I doubt you’d sell very many of them like that. You get the general idea but you need to do a bit of research. They would really hurt after a while plus they’re barely noticeable. Good effort though
Actually ear cuffs do kot hurt or uncomfortable. The pieces dangling look great. I sell tons of ear cuffs to our local, crystal and more store around here, and craft shows actually. Now granted, I have not added resin pieces to them, I made other charms.
@@sweetolie1Not all ears are the same size, so as someone who bought one that a friend made, I can honestly say that it does start to hurt after a bit.
Doesn’t stop me from wearing it, just something to be aware of.
I personally wish that they came in different sizes, but I’ve also considered making my own out of jewelry wire so that I can get a custom fit.
