If you're on the fence of whether to join Steve's membership or not get off that fence! It's not a comfortable place to sit. And come join us! As a resin crafter (and crafter in general) it's the best decision I've made. Everyone is so kind and helpful. You'll get so so so much good advice and will probably become better at your craft! So come on and join! 😊it's a fun place to be.
Because of this video I tried my mica powder (I don’t have flakes) in a dragon mold. I just didn’t know how it would turn out in a resin pour. I turned out, in my humble opinion, absolutely amazing. I just wanted you to know that your time is so helpful and absolutely appreciated. Thank you!❤
I'm binging on your videos and enjoying every second. You don't dawdle and get right down to it WITH explanation and enthusiasm🎉 I work mainly in concrete but since my shop isn't heated I close up and do indoor projects, now doing plaster and engaging in more and more resin. Not being able to find appropriate gems for wire ornaments created that necessity......now Resin is Necessin! I have a large shipment of molds and a uv kit (quickly knocking out gems right now is imperative heading towards Black Friday) so I'm excited for the next week to come. Possibly the best hack I gleaned that helped me with measuring volume needed was the rice pour!
The chameleon flakes give a really cool effect. It's just too messy for me! I prefer the chameleon powder that is more controllable. Thanks for showing the comparison!
Another good one is Daniel cooper, I think you would love where he uses a stencil with hand cream, and covers it with resin and when the resin hardens you can wipe of the hand cream then the stencil is left in the resin..
Thanks so much for this video. Great demmo of each product. I don't think I would have tried the flakes on my own. After seeing this video I defineitely want to get them too. Many thanks. I love all your experiments and information.
i don't notice the chameleon effect as much on the flakes.......i think i just like the major color shift with the powders, when i do the top coat (some doming) i get a great result,.....love your vids! :)
Ahhh I literally brought this stuff from Amazon 2 days ago, I didn’t realise you had a link 🙈 will defo use yours in future- so grateful for these insights- Video idea- I would love to see these colours on clear background without mixing, also I can’t find the video but I would love to see HOW THIN you can make resin layers while inserting paper collage elements - I’m brand new to this and trying to learn all I can while I wait for my resin to arrive 🙈♥️
Thanks for the comparison video. The flakes almost give a little texture to the shine where they powder is more of a flat finish. Not sure I need something to help me make more of a mess but, I'll probably end up buying some of the flakes.
Steve, I love the powders and was on the fence about the flakes. I will definitely be ordering the flakes soon. But I am in the process of reorganizing my work space. So it might be a while before you see where I ordered off of your channel. ❤❤❤❤❤ love your videos!!!
Are baby wipes ok? I saw a video saying not to use baby wipes. And what are big wipes? I'm in Canada. Maybe they're not available here? Love your videos btw!

Thank you, I’m so pleased you love the members group
I’ll second this : )
Here I am another long term member. I cannot say enough about being a member.
Thanks for this demo. Very helpful.
Thank you so much for promoting the big wipes - they have been the best thing ever for me and clean my molds easily and quickly - perfect.
i love the colors and the bear is so cute very loveley 💗
So pretty! Now I know I need the flakes, also.😍
This is the best video I have seen for the differences between the flakes and powders!! ❤️💜

I love chameleon flakes. Good demo of them along side the powders Steve :)

I think the flakes give more of a mirror finish, but I like them both! 😍👍😊 TY for the comparison, Steve!

Thank you for your support
The most intense pigment powders I've ever found are from The Tiny Turner - the colours are stunningly vivid!
love the different effects you can get with these - big fan :)
They are a great product
I much prefer the powders to the flakes but they do have their own uses. Thanks for your videos. I do enjoy and learn a lot.
Those turned out so well. Very useful to see the comparison. Thanks!

Steve, thanks for showing the difference between the two. I have both but haven’t used them yet.
I love them both in their own way. They give some beautiful results

Was the bear a deep pour resin please?
Is there a link for the wipes you use? I can only find baby wipes x
Do you have an Etsy store ??
I have heard of chameleon flakes. They buy you drinks and tell you how beautiful you are, only to never call you back.
Steve, can you please shout out @DiscoKittie - I love her videos and she can use the subscribers. Thank you ❤
