    I don't think I'd ever tire of hearing him noodle away on his guitar - what an inspiration.

    I was lucky enough to attend a workshop with Pierre in the Blue Mountains near Sydney, Australia a couple of years ago. I am still inspired and amazed by his technique, his compositions and his beautiful playing...

    Got to hang out with Pierre a bit last week after a show of his in Virginia! What a treat to talk about red wines with the Maestro!! I first saw him perform back in 1982 and his playing is better than ever. By the end of the show, my face was sore from smiling so much.

      I heard he just holds it above his head with malevolent intent and smashes it down on the handset.

    Amazing that behind every six string is the possibility for this beauty.
    I find it funny when Pierre stares you down while he plays a passage. It is like he is saying something, and his eyes and facial expression show it, but he is playing and instrument. Just funny.

    Dose piere anchor his pinky ? I'm seeing alot of players like Andy McKee do it

    • @gnulen
      @gnulen 6 років тому +1

      No, he doesn't anchor as he feels it limits the motion of his ringfinger. I used to anchor, until he told me not to - it took a while, but i adapted.
