Miguel Dias You were being a racist pr*ck, but f**k it, I'll explain why they chose this colour for Tim's skin: The track is about Vampires/blood, and this is the colour Caucasian skin becomes when absolutely engorged with blood. This shade of Purple was the original tone chosen for the Incredible Hulk. But due to how expensive Purple ink was at that time, they had to go with Green. And Tim is the Sax Hulk! Behold!

Just a blur of coke and camera flashes. Granted I was only 5 when they ended but I've been largely unimpressed by most everything since so I'll be riding this retrowave all the way into the sunset.
Guys more collabs with Indiana her voice was made for synthvawe, she fits perfect in this style and should stay to this genre.

I simply cannot stop listening to this song. This ties in everything I love about music. The 80's saxx, the female vocals, the strong rhythmic beat...what do I even call this genre?? This is the fourth Gunship masterpiece to absolutely grab me in the deepest part of my soul. Inidana...my god. I'd love to see this live, just to stand right in front of the speakers and let it pump through me while watching these gods of music absolutely NAIL IT.

Jesus....I've watched this video SO many times. And will watch it so many more. Truly awesome song.
This song turned the juices in my bloodstream into burning violet light, every inch is so striking, so luscious and explosive! Each emotion the melodies touch on is bottomless, this is music that calls out baying at the end of the day, hungering for prey~ The sun has fallen, and Gunship once again walks the night for you. Maybe I'm a little worked up, but that saxophone is molten joy, the perfect touch.

Santa Carla and the Frog Brothers are from Lost Boys film. Tim Cappello makes a cameo in the film.
Ryu from Street Fights on the drums. Light Yagami from Death Note is on the synthesizer. S Machine From Dusk Till Dawn I film on guitar.
The band's security team was Buffy Summers (the Vampire Slayer), Blade (Marvel Comics), and either Seth Gecko From Dusk Till Dawn or Leon S. Kennedy from Resident Evil. Blade's watch was inspired by the Predator wrist bomb.
The security team was doing well until Demitri Maximoff (Darkstalkers) showed up.
This music video is less than six minutes long and is more awesome than most action films made in the last twenty years.

I think I saw references to Vampire Hunter D and Demon City Shinjuku too. Actually, I'm certain of the Demon City Shinjuku reference.
The truck is an allusion to Vampire Hunter D, as are some other things.
There was a sigil from "Berserk" on the guitar.
There's also a reference to The Lost Boys on a slightly more meta level, in Tim "Oily Hip Gyrations" Cappello playing sax on the track (best known for his...rather peculiar appearance in The Lost Boys)

So extremely funny and hyper specific story about this song. I’m a rideshare driver and one night I had a passenger who was just chatting with me and eventually he asked me to play Cry Little Sister the Marilyn Manson cover but also asked me to guess what movie song it was a cover of. I had no clue until I heard the background vocal “thou shalt not fear” my brain made a connection to this song which I knew was heavily referencing Lost Boys. So not having any other inkling, I said Lost Boys. I was right and as a reward the dude no joke PayPal’d me $200. Every Generation has it's hero's and dignitaries, mine was without doubt the entire 80's a masterpiece in human history. Tim Capello was ahead of the pact, saxophone for me is one of the most underrated musical instruments and Tim was that man who took it to a whole 'nother level. I give thanks to God for those memories and all those who made my life so much more than it could have been without them in it.

Carpenter Brut mainly! They got me into synth and I found Gunship through the remix CB did of Tech Noir. Leather Teeth is a great album. There's a bunch of metal and rock bands I like that have or are rumored to be releasing new stuff soon as well.
