@@christinecarter7800 I agree. I love The Doors but I especially love Echo & The Bunnymen. It's like they took The Doors and cranked it up a notch giving it just the perfect amount of creepy. I'm sure it helped that a member of The Doors was involved in the cover.
So often in life, we forget all those little things that changed us in a small way. This song is one of those forgotten little things, thank you for reminding me by reacting to it. I couldn't have named the singer if my life had depended on it, but this song was part of the tapestry of my youth. Brought up some wonderful memories from my teens. And yes, it was on The Lost Boys, another part of the aforementioned tapestry. Great reaction.
The Lost Boys changed my life. Watched it in the late 80's at a friend's house and was BLOWN AWAY. Still one of my favorite movies of all time! Seen it at least 8 different times!
I love that you love, love, love, love The Lost Boys!! It's among my favorite movies of all time. I've lost count of how many times I've seen it, probably because it doesn't matter. I could have seen that movie 100 times and I would watch it 100 more. I never tire of it. My only issue with this song is that is ALWAYS makes me want to watch the movie and sometimes I just can't. Loving your reactions, Angela. Subbed!
I have Lost Boys on tape. I used to watch it whenever I had girls over in high school. Ive seen it myriad times since. It’s great to watch it when you are on herb. If you can get deep enough, you can put yourself into the characters shoes and feel those emotions.
The one song that gets completely overlooked is - 'He's Back' (The Man Behind the Mask) by Alice Cooper. He made the song for Friday the 13th Pt. 6: Jason Lives.
I just felt really old all of a sudden!!! Never heard of the lost boys before!!! Then I realized why…. I was in the USMC with a wife and a 1 yr old! Lol. Barney is what my daughter liked.
Also, just after a rewatch of this video CAN WE ALL give it up for the editing in the lost boys video she is watching, SIMPLY stunning with the flash transitions that SYNC PERFECTLY with the song and the individual instruments. When star looks at Michael after David says "star" is GOLD STAR editing. And when the organ jumps in when Michael is taking part of the ritual of drinking Davids blood is JUST PERFECTION!
Ha Ha night folk love this song as a result of the movie. G Tom Mac was trying to create a mood/ feel. I think he succeeded. Thanks for the reaction. Stay safe 😈
Wrong rock legend. LOL! It took me several viewings to realize that the reason the Boys try to recruit the lead character instead of just killing him, is because he bears a striking resemblance to Jim Morrison.
I grew up with this movie ( still the best vamp movie ever made" .. and then i came across these children making a cover.. my heart just .. cant explain it .,. listen to this one on your own time ua-cam.com/video/nYbXFxta24c/v-deo.html
Cracking song from a cracking film. I watched the film over Christmas and couldn't help but be sad at the wasted talent of Corey Haim, he should have achieved so much more. I switched over and there was River Phoenix on Indiana Jones - Last Crusade, the biggest case of what should have been.
Chorus refrain. Cry, little sister (Thou shall not fall) Come, come to your brother (Thou shall not die) Unchain me, sister (Thou shall not fear) Love is with your brother (Thou shall not kill)
Other great vampire/goth themed songs: Skid Row - Breakin Down (video; movie: The Prophecy with Christopher Walken, Elias Koteas, Virginia Madsen, Viggo Mortensen and more) Nine Inch Nails - Perfect Drug (video) Debra Holland - Come To Me (Fright Night 2; written by Peter Gabriel) ua-cam.com/video/9Q2okO1W0bg/v-deo.html

This song is 🔥 in the Lost Boys!
This generation will never know about the true vampires of the lost boys, cause they never shine.
I didn’t recognize anybody from Harry Potter in that movie!
😢
Another great track from this movie is Echo and The Bunnymen's cover of The Doors song "People are Strange."
Better than the original 😊

You couldn’t have said it better, my brother. As a child this movie, and more importantly it’s music, shaped my how I hear music now.
Also, "I Still Believe" by Tim Cappello. The song from the fair when Michael first sees Star

Sleep all day. Party all night. Never grow old. Never die. It's fun to be a vampire

My all time favorite vampire movie
Love the whole soundtrack & the movie when it came out. Being an Aussie, it's good to hear that INXS made the cut!!!!

The man who wrote this song, his name is actually Geard Mccmann or G Tom Mac
Marilyn Manson does a pretty vicious cover of this song. :)
