A few people I follow on IG did this a few years ago and I was like WOW ok I don’t have to buy a frame tv!! Girl within 1 year I went through about 6 rolls of this molding because I couldn’t get it right. I bought all the angle cutters and my husband even got me an expensive one hoping it’ll help but nope. So frustrating but I finally got it right 7th time was a charm. Thanks for sharing because only you and 1 other girl I’ve seen on here have shared this method. And a lady I follow shared it but she did her bathroom mirror with it.. Beautiful job..Blessings
Painters tape over the edge of the tv to help prevent residue! Looking forward to this project thanks fo sharing! Did this interfere with the tv infrared sensor?
And no, ours didn’t affect our tv sensor at all but it would be good to check beforehand where your sensor is to try not to block it or make sure it won’t affect it
OMG! I've been trying to figure out a way to achieve this frame TV look for 3 years LOL and just like you I didnt want to go through the wood option and hassle etc. I just put a Gold frame in my cart for 175.00 because it seemed like the easiest route but then I said let me look on YT one last time and your viddeo popped up rt away. Thank you so much for this idea. Also reading through the comments i will definitely take into consideration the painters tape idea.
Oh a brown antiquing wax would look good on the gold but if you want black instead, you can always spray paint it! It’s a bit of an extra step but it should work to get the look you want 😊
The dimensions will depend on your TV because you want to make sure it’ll fit on the edge around the screen so you don’t block it but for my tv is a 65” and the short sides are about 33 inches and long sides 57
The back of the peel and stick moulding I used is white so it just looks white from the back. I would say this looks best when the tv is wall mounted so you can't see the back of the frame unless you get very close at certain angles.
We haven’t had any issues with our sensor on either of our tvs that I added a frame to but I guess that depends on your tv and the sensitivity of the sensor

Oh no! Well thankfully you got it to work for you at the end! And I’m sure it was still cheaper than buying the frame tv so that’s good 😅
Can you recommend those ladies
A video would of you actually installing it would of helped. It's a great idea for a TV frame.
This is brilliant. I can't wait to order it!! ❤
Yes girl! I agree with you on this. I use the same thing to my tv. I have a yellowish gold sticker on it n it looks amazing!

Oooo that could work! The adhesive is pretty sticky so I’m sure it would stick well to the painters tape 👍🏼

Thank you ! I got some of the metal peel and stick in gold and did around my tv . Looks so great !
I’m so glad you found it useful! 🤍
i would just stick that on commamd tape and not peel off the sticky part. each corner should do it. geeat idea thought!
Ooo that could also work! Someone will have to give it a shot and let us know 🤭
The frame looks amazing! Definitely appreciated how easy it was to set up 😊
Thank you for helping! 😌

The TV table is beautiful too. Where did you get it from?
I found a guy on Facebook marketplace that custom made them ☺️
I planned to do this but I bought the gold one and was gonna do a brown wash over it. Now I wish I bought black.

Thank you!
Thank you💕🙏
Do u have a video on how u did it
No sorry I didn’t get any footage! But I wrote a detailed explanation in the blog post (linked in the description)!
Yes, I would love to see that also! I’m a visual learner also. ! Hopefully someone posts one. This is genius!
How do you make your tv remote work
Ours doesn’t give us any issues 🤷🏽♀️ I guess it’ll depend on where the sensor is on your tv so you can try not to cover it completely
What did the demontions wore for the frame
The dimensions will depend on your TV because you want to make sure it’ll fit on the edge around the screen so you don’t block it but for my tv is a 65” and the short sides are about 33 inches and long sides 57
How does the back look

OoommmGgg genius
Do you think I could use this to frame a mirror like the bathroom mirrors
Yes! That would look so cute! I actually was planning to do it in one of our bathrooms! I just need to buy more moulding haha
What about the TV sensor?
We haven’t had any issues with our sensor on either of our tvs that I added a frame to but I guess that depends on your tv and the sensitivity of the sensor
