@@vidhijain1953 I won't recommend the refined flour because the protein level is not as high as bread flour. Bread flour can reach the softest texture ☺️

Hi mam,the doughnuts recipe looks very easy coz u show it in a lovely way and ur love towards ur work.thank you for sharing mam plz share eggless cup cakes or cakes recipe for this Christmas.God bless you ❤
Lovely!! Some questions; I'm not used to bake with dry yeast, always use fresh. How hot must the water be in celcius to start the reaction? After the frying; can I fill them with vanilla custard? Does it work? Love from Sweden👍🏻💕🇸🇪
Hi Jenny. Yes, luke warm water. To make sure, you can stick in your finger and you won't be feeling cold or hot, that's good temperature. And yes, you can pipe in custard, chocolate cream or jam fillings for the donuts, it will give you additional flavour for the donuts ☺️
Hi! Is it possible for you to make a video on eggless almond oats cookies and oats chocochip cookies? I searched the whole internet but did not find it.
Cake flour will not give you a soft bread like texture. Cake flour will be little more dense and cakey compared to high protein flour (bread flour). Perhaps the other closest option is all-purpose flour. However it may not be as fluffy as bread flour but that's the closest option ☺️
Hi dear. If you knead by hand, it will usually takes about 20 min or until the surface of the dough is smooth. Knead and bang the dough hard on the table top to break the gluten ☺️
Yes you can knead by hand. Knead the dough until it's soft and smooth so that the outcome of the donut is soft, usually takes about 15-20 min.(instead of using the mixer) The rest of the proofing procedure will be exactly like the video.
@@spoorthimanjunath6538 Hi. Try to sugar the donuts when it is cooled or at least not so hot. It happens to mine sometimes, so you can sugar another round just so that the donuts are well coated. Hope this helps ☺️
Hi dear. Ok the cooking really depends on your own fire if you're using normal stove. Maybe I suggest that you get a thermostat (those that can clip on the side of the pot) so that you know how hot your oil is. The oil cannot be too hot because it will burn the outside when inside not cooked. I cooked approximately 2 min for each side, or until it is golden brown but not burn. I hope these tips help
Well I suppose you can reheat using a pan. Bear in mind overnight donuts texture will not be as soft as freshly fried donuts. Alternatively you can reheat in a microwave with a spray of water on the donuts
Hi…just made them. They look good but on the cooking front…my donuts were not as fluffy inside , compressed is a better word. Think due to the temperature fluctuations in the frying process…the recipe is otherwise perfect. Would love to have your thoughts re my results….thank you. What can I do better when frying them as I have a gas stove and the temperatures are harder to maintain ….
Hi dear. I use gas stove too to fry these donuts. This was what I did, if you don't have a thermometer. Heat up the oil on medium heat, the oil shouldn't be too hot. Once you noticed there is slight vapour, throw in a small piece of dough for testing. It shouldn't be bubbling. If it does, off the heat completely to lower the temperature. at this point you can throw in a donut. Then put the fire back on, this time on low. The browning may take some time, that's fine. Fry one side for about 2 min. or until it browned to the colour you desire. Do this, on and off the fire whenever you think necessary. You don't want too high heat as you want the donut to cook well in the inside, so 2-3 min on one side will be good. Hope this helps
Hey! I have a question not related to this recipe! I am using vegan whipping cream powder, when I whipped it, it looked whipped to me but it was not whipped enough as it was not that much stiff Now these are my questions:- 1) What do I have to do to make it more stiff? I think when I was adding food colour to it, it took me like 30 minutes so it was left like that only for thirty minutes, is that why it didn’t get stiff? 2) Please tell me what is better add in whipped cream powder, water, or milk? Which will work better???
Hi Finache, you can use non-dairy whipping cream (not the powder type, it's cream). I don't recommend the powdered form as they are not as stable as the cream type. Non-dairy whipping cream is plant based cream which will work very well and very stable for your cake. Here are the brands you can try: Value Pride, Toppin Pride, Rich's Gold Label, Vivo, Topping Ace. There are a few more, but these are my top choices for you. Non-dairy will get stiff very easily, so watch the mixing all the way, do not over whipped.
I would like to understand why some bakers 2 nd proof the donut dough in freezer then on counter for 1 hour ? What could be the reason behind ? Just my knowledge gathered from different channels
Sometimes we can retard the dough in fridge for longer fermentation. Some believe that maybe the bread is more flavourful. It's just a matter of preference. If you have time at home you can give that a try. The rise after the retard (from fridge) will usually take longer to proof again depending on your room temp. I hope I answered you ☺️
When I make the donut dough it ALWAYS takes so long for it to grow like almost 24 hours. That isnt normal is it? What could i be possibly doing wrong? I sometimes make dough for pizza and that always grows fast like in less that an hour and a half

They are different. Bread flour has a lot higher protein than all-purpose flour. Both of these flour can be used. However, bread flour will give the bread softer texture
Same. I even added the water first so the yeast could activate. I've put it in the fridge as in a previous recipe they said to refrigerate for 24hrs, going to see if it raises in a few hours time.
Correction. I spoke to a friend who bakes a lot. Scrap my previous comment. This has actually worked. I was told to turn the oven on and put it onto a low heat. Take the dough and put it onto a tray and fill a second tray with boiling hot water. Place the tray of water on the bottom of the oven and place the tray with dough above. Make sure the oven doesn't get hot enough to start cooking the dough. Once the oven is warm turn it off and leave it. My dough has almost doubled in size. I was told that if the dough rises then it was because the yeast wasn't warm enough to rise the dough. You could have made the same mistake as me and added in cold milk which stops the yeast from working. Where I knew originally it was working because it was 'foaming' and I could see tiny bubbles. As someone who rarely uses yeast I think it would've been an idea for the video creator to have specified not using cold milk.
Even liiittle bit extra flour makes flat dought. For rise it you have to cover it well and put somewhere little bit warm, it can be very low heat oven or sunlight.
FYI the kind of yeast you use matters. Ideally room temp milk can be used for Instant Yeast. Whereas Active Dry Yeast needs Warm Milk and Sugar and needs to be risen seperately before mixing into the flour....
