  • The Brush Crusher by Westendorf has become an invaluable tool here on the homestead despite the bad rap others have given it on the internet. Lets take a closer look and you can decide.

I bought one after seeing your first video about the “Brush Crusher”. Some of my neighbors and local farmers never saw one until they saw mine, many went out and got their own and everyone loves theirs and they all say it’s a must have. I move logs and lots and lots of brush, it saves you from lifting and moving heavy materials. If you get one, you’ll never have buyers remorse, it’s worth the investment.

@@markellyfarm I should have gotten commissions for the sales made out here from farmers stopping and wanting information on it. Everyone said they want one or we’re going to get one. Quite a few own large farms, so the Grappler is good for large or small farms. Also, it’s great when burning large or small burn piles.

Love my model BC4200 brush crusher. Way cheaper than spending the money on 3rd function or rear remotes. I got my Brush Crusher used from a local John Deere dealer for half the price of new. I have a NH tractor with a Westendorf TA111 loader.

      Does it use hydraulics?

@@markellyfarm no. Frontier makes a mechanical version too. Brush crusher isn’t the only brand.

Hi Mark, comments from Bob (my hubby) if he had a need for a Brush Crusher based on your video and commentary he would definitely purchase one. He also adds “machinery is only as good as the operator, sometimes they forget that machines have their limitations too”. Great video!

Thank you. Great video. I ordered a 4250 and it should be here next week. I have a 2019, 1023e.
I am having rear lift hydraulic issues, not consistent lift height. Any ideas? Dealers have drawn a blank and so have my internet search. Thanks. Be well. David

Is it bleeding down or the arms are uneven?

@@markellyfarm neither. One time will raise an inch, after lowering all the way, next raise is two inches, repeat next could be zero, next full, next five, etc

I have a small saw mill and I love the Brush Crusher. I didn't want the third function expense nor the extra weight that takes away from payload. I can lift logs in the neighborhood of 800#.

Yes, it's a great implement and underrated by some. Thank for watching!

Courtney never showed the pins after he showcased it so we don’t know if his loader was damaged.

I've used mine quite extensively with no issues.
