Update 5-23-20 Rings are in, motor is together and in the frame. Bike needs final wiring and one last final torque on everything/thread locker on bolts. I dropped the seat off at an Upholstery Shop, Divine Design Upholstery, coming up on 3 WEEKS ago now and they said they're STILL a week away from having it done. That's just unacceptable. This is the only thing I'm waiting on for the final part of the build. I apologize to my subsribers and viewers that this is taking so long. The final part of the video will most likely be next friday, 5-29-20.
Very Interesting watching this. I had a 78 Yamaha XS650 Special. Things are slow going in some areas of this covid 19. I got my Shovelhead out of the Shop first week of Sept.
Concerning tire mounting. Partially inflate the tube so it holds a bit of shape and, use some lube. Ask your Girlfriend about going in dry. Speaking of Tires, what are those ?
Yea Guy, that's the nature of building. The mock-up takes the most time. Once the final teardown begins the final bike comes together pretty quickly. Take care. -Jimmy
I've learned so much from watching your videos, they've been a great resource.

Love your work and videos
What were the rim sizes you chose? I am keeping the front hub on my xs an having it relaced to a 16" rear xs rim. Going for the Indian Scout look.
Cool video! Keep up the good work
Thanks!
Love it!
Are the faux carbon wraps a security measure or just aesthetic? Don’t they make fork removal difficult?
What hand controls (clutch and brake levers) and rear light are you using?
Rear light is from amazon (just type in motorcycle brake light, you'll find it) and the clutch/brake levers were from ebay.
You started the series slow but now it is jumping a lot
