Welcome back my friends! In this video we rebuild this 1972 kawasaki 100 into a dirt scrambler. This motorcycle was converted from 6v ignition to a 12v ignition with a 12VAC regulator. Parts and tools are linked in the description. Stay tuned and subscribe, the next video might just be a twin turbo build! www.doctor-motorcycle.com Ignition Conversion. 6v to 12v.
We tried our best to make this as ASMR as possible. Thanks to all from the ASMR side that commented how this has an ASMR feel. It doesn't seem fair to put ASMR in the title while we have many adds in the video. What says you?

You know... I live in a country where public TV really sucks...our goverment is controlling it, so it sucks. My only source of entertainment nowdays are UA-cam. Your channel is one of the best I've ever seen...OMG I'm getting sentimental. Please, (if you can) keep sharing your awsome videos with that excellent editing that only you can master.... Thank you, thank you thank you....Good, creative job on the 175!!!
Thanks Tom, will do
If he 'tackles' an old Bultaco, I'm buying everyone a round.
I also live in a country where government runs all tv. America.
@@kellyjackson7889 No no, not a Bultaco. A Bultaco Lobito 100 was my first bike at age 10 (I'm now 62) they are too valuable to chop up. I have searched everywhere for one like I had back then with no success.
@@larrynorsworthy8582 Sadly, me too.
Great work and a lot of it. Good job on the video too.
I built mine from a1974 G-4TRD for the Lake Erie Loop vintage 650 mile rally/race. It took me around in 11:27 faster than any Vintage 100cc has done to date. A lot of fun. Two strokes will run that distance wide open if built correctly ( all stock specs), contrary to what a lot of people think.
All the G-4 TR's had the hi/lo range. I used a late KE-100 bottom end with the one down 4 up pattern and solid state ignition. The G-4 also had a tube frame like the G-31M racer had, wider and stronger.
I’ve always wanted a street legal vintage 2 stroke. They are so cool. You really did this bike justice with the green paint man. Very good work!
Thanks! 👍
Why couldn’t they come looking that awesome from the factory?? Simply Beautiful!!
The light taped to the fork was just priceless. 😂
🤣

You “”ARE”” the doctor. Hands down!
I definitely want a bike from you one of these days. Thanks for posting your builds
Wow! I currently have a 78 ke100 in my basement waiting for some TLC. This video really made me feel like theres hope for it
What a fantastic job! Truly inspirational. Colors are great. They really pop.
I had a KE 125 when i was a teenager, this is a similar bike. I have been thinking about buying one and restoring it, I don’t have the level of knowledge you have but I’m a domestic Electrician so i have some transferable skills. If you come access a KE i would love to see you restore one on your channel. Great well made videos.
I owned a Kawasaki 100cc when I was a kid! With I'd kept it, great little bike and so much fun to ride.
Great restoration thanks for sharing
He's pinstriping now too?! This guy's a hero
Haha thanks, funny you mention that. I'm going to start doing pinstripes by hand as a homage to the old custom SoCal Hotrods. Now that you mention that, I might as well head off to the garage to get some practice in.....
Just love watching your restoration videos adding new life to old
Wish I had your knowledge, love to take on projects like these, so satisfying!
this is like one giant advertisement for harbor freight haha.
great work!
little chisel works every time!
I'm from AZ also and the videos are awesome. I'm using your videos as a guide and some of your amazon affiliate links just take me to amazon, not to the product. I've bought some of this stuff and would love to give a kick back.
Nice job, just a thought though, I believe that 2 stroke oil is only suitable for pre mix only, not injection.
Cosas que no he visto hasta ahora en la comunidad hospanohablante a este nivel de detalle, el como te muestran todo
Senior Doctor Motorcycle.
From a Harley guy she's a beauty 🤘💯
Nice build. I absolutely love 2 strokes. Unfortunately at 6' 240 pounds, a 100cc bike is just a bit too small for me.
Same here. My dad has a KE100 like this and I've always wondered if it is worn out or just doesn't make a lot of power in the first place. When you open that throttle it lays down a James Bond smokescreen though. Really fun to ride and light but there isn't much torque and the suspension is definitely wimpy for us big fellas. Good starter bike and I loved learning to ride on it.
In love with this bike (need to get my driver’s license)
OUTSTANDING!!
もう廃車寸前のバイクを見事に生き返らせるyouは最高にcoolだぜ
OUTSTANDING! Simple, common sense, perfection!
30 seconds of finished bike. I feel cheated! Great build 👍
Your custom seat pan style is phenomenal.
The person who I built this bike for ended up having a financial hardship, so 3/4 of the way through the build it was made known to me that I'm on my own building the bike, on my own dime. I will NEVER do another 2 stroke build again, especially with a bike this old. I couldn't find any of the seals I needed so a lot of the originals were re-used, most of the parts on this bike were next to impossible to find. The caked on oil from the premix/dirt to FOREVER to remove off of the block!
It's a shame that I couldn't build this bike the way it should've been built, but sometimes that's just how the chips fall and you play the hand you're dealt. -DoctorMotorcycle
You're welcome dude!!! We can't wait to see you hit 100,000 subscribers!!!
Arby's, serving thinly sliced raccoon meat since '64. The secret is the rabies.
I have a 78 that needs the magneto wire everything with the magneto went out and img it got expensive just cause there are no parts and when u find them there expensive but i love my bike just hard to get parts for
You can buy most seals through a bearing supply house. Measure the od, id and width.
Best channel on youtube!
Some reason won't let me like more than once LOL great job you knock this one out the park
Very good skill
Colour is dope ..
Nice i liked the seat part alot of builder dont show that in detail now i can build my own!
Slice a few degrees off that rotary valve I did and I could feel a little more on the the top.
Wow the real profession is passion.
My friend growing up had one of these it was his dads, we tore the crap out of it doing burn out contest in the grass, blowing up the engine and then un seizing it pouring lawn boy oil down the spark plug hole and force kicking it over to free it up and re starting it, this happend 3 or 4 times before it was a done deal. Wish we would have kept it now
Nice work!!
Amazing bike! Happy to be the owner
I am a Korean bike rider.
Nice ride. Nice ride.😁👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
That was freaking awesome!
Tasty ride.
Wonderful 💕. I have1980 Suzuki 100 🇪🇬🇪🇬
Maxima Castor 927 oil in the injection?! :) oohhh! the scent!!!!!
Clever use of bolts and really neat and accurate fabrication......attention to hidden detail has shown in the finish...nice one dude.
Thank you very much!
Just found your channel. Awesome job on this! I’m not a very mechanical guy but I love bikes and i dream of being able to do stuff like this. I might have to buy junker you’ve already restored so I can follow along like Bob Ross.
nice job
I had to comment again LOVE THAT KAWI GREEN!!!
THANK'S AGAIN FROM NOR-CAL!!!!
Turned out great! Thanks for the work you put into filming it for us man.
Thanks
Finally a build with color nice work.
Très belle customisation monsieur bravo je veux la même 😎🤣🤣
Well done, a lot of work executed with skill, now you can just enjoy it.
Thanks, though I was planning on selling this bike. Think I'm probably going to go the eBay route again, always seems to work well with custom bikes. Especially if the price is low enough.
Love that green!
Great build the missing a KAWASAKI on the tank would make it 100% though!
You really are the doctor!
Nice job! Saludos desde Valladolid España 🇪🇸🇪🇸
Wish the Chinese would watch this and mass produce bikes like this. XL.TS. XR. TL. DT. etc from 1980s haven't been bettered IMO.. Simple air cooled light weight with no unneeded plastic crap bolted on.
Nice freaking bike omg
Love watching your videos man. Been here since the beginning
I appreciate it!
Love it mate but handy tip.
That kill switch bolts onto the your clutch perch 🤣 it was never missing the back of it
Negative, it was a universal switch from ebay. It originally came with screws and a backing pate. The bolt centers aren't the same as the clutch perch, I tried.
Truly amazing… keep up the good work..
I really wish I new how to do this my great uncle has a GS650 just sitting there and I have no clue where to even start with it.
Emerald green with envy
What a perfect restoration!! color combination looks nice, too. Kudos bro!!
Thanks a lot!
Great Modifications. Do U Still Have That Bike? I will buy it from U, U Still Find a thousand of them out there perhaps even for free.
peoples just wanna to get rid of it.! But I Will Appreciated for Your Talent & Arts in Motor Cycle.
Perhaps U could Even Fold it. So Any one could put these Bike in the trunk. Awesome Job. Cheers
New sub. Nice build. Great job
Best small moto
Love these builds. So different, And great to watch 👌👌
Satisfying 💆♂️
Been watching your time lapse builds for a few days now and I want to start a build of my own so bad. Also I have no idea why I squinted when you were using the cut off wheel and throwing sparks. Like I was about to get hit in the eyes . Please keep making these

That came out great! I enjoyed the video! One small bit of criticism though (trying not to sound like a dick). There was so much of the video spent on clipping, and soldering, and removing every bolt, and cutting, and grinding. Then the teardown and rebuild took like 2 minutes. I would've like to seen more of the actual build instead of the the small details. You really put a lot of work into these bikes! They turn out really cool!
I have a ke125 im try to get started and do some cool to it
THANK YOU...for sharing. Super nice craftsmanship job, fantastic work.
castor 927 is for premix only, its too thick for oil injection, Awsome old rotary valve build thou
Temp in arizona is 115 degrees, it's ok
Well done 👍
This video reduced ma stress
Nice & perfect work thanks
yer beyond words amazing.
Just amazing!
bravissimo! video molto bello, complimenti!! Giovanni dall'Italia
I'm not exactly sure but that Kawi
There is the right one that is a Green streak 100 , with ROTARY disk valve with oil injection U can
Time those disk valves and it'll
make that little bike very FAST!!!
THANK'S FROM NOR-CAL!!!
Yes I heard this as well, but I'm selling this one and don't want the power to be too peaky. It's already pretty quick as it has a -2 front +2 rear sprocket setup for the dirt. Thanks!
love it
Dude.....fantastic job 👌🏼
🤙
Fantastic video well compiled, great ideas thx so much Murray Melbourne Australia
More please
Great video end result fantastic love it ,you have amazing eye for fine detail..best wishes
Thanks Tony

Diggin' Your channel My Friend! Nice work!👌🤙✌
great work and great video. my favorite format. show the work. 👍🏻
Thanks 👍
Well done. Greetings from France
Thank you very much!
cool set back up
excellent work
Many thanks
Correct me if I'm wrong, but the switch button at 9:20 has the back half missing because if I remember correctly they replace the front half of the clamp for a brake/clutch lever, effectively replacing it whilst also adding a button.
Someone else said the same thing, it was originally a switch I ordered that came with 2 screws and the backing plate. The clutch perch I used had different spacing on the bolt holes, so that wouldn't work.
@@DoctorMotorcycle Okay that's fair enough as I know some do have slightly different spacings in the holes, I've experienced that issue too building bikes. Anyways, I love the bike you built regardless, keep up the good work!
nice build buddy, greeting from Indonesia
Hey, thanks!

omg the onwer was Macgyver lol
