When Pam mentioned straps, I was expecting Lee to immediately go for a "strapping young lad" pun. Especially with that previous exchange about the "fell for him" pun
I did a solo jump in Peterborough after meeting someone in the SAS at work. I'd always wanted to and he arranged it. 3,000 feet (I think) and I had to disentangle myself from a Mae West!
Best bits of this video in my opinion are “He wore a lot of straps” “Reclining in the hangar looking steamy” “I didn’t find out until he hit me on the shoulder and said go” “The classic head wobble of seduction” Pam is absolutely fantastic 😂
I’ve been reading Richard Osman’s Thursday Murder Club books, and I have to wonder if Pam was a bit of an inspiration. Older people can be full of surprises.
First one I did was solo. After some training on the ground. In the 1990s, was given a radio receiver on which you got instructions on the way down, twisted my ankle on landing and it swelled up like a balloon, lol😂😂
the production team collects the information beforehand, but that doesn't mean the card the guest gets on the day will be a true story they've told the team in advance.
Pam Ayers against who wins dares Jumped from a plane without a care Fancied the instructor so gave it a try Thrown out of a plane to float through the sky

Well she has told this story on QI some years ago so i knew it was true😊
The question is Pam did this endeavour win you the prize? Did you, in the end have your wild way with the ever so English strapped up Doug????
Lookin' steamin'
Wait, how was she allowed to jump solo without having jumped LOADS of tandem??
I jumped solo 3 times with no tandem, so I guess different rules for different places.
it was the 70s :D
@@panda4247you can jump now solo without ever having done a single tandem. atleast in the UK
