- This Is My... With Ed Balls, Jo Brand and Lee Mack
This week's guest: Billy
Ed Balls: This is Billy, my karaoke partner. When I let rip as Lionel Richie, he was my Diana Ross.
Jo Brand: This is my neighbour Billy, and I once stole his wheelie-bin and then texted him instead of my husband to tell him what I'd done.
Lee Mack: He drives a barge and once whilst I was enjoying a view from a bridge, I accidentally dropped my ice cream on his head. -
Would I Lie to You? is the hit BBC panel show where two teams of celebrity guests try to figure out whether their opponent's ridiculously far-fetched statements about themselves are true or, in fact, a lie.
Featuring inimitable host Rob Brydon with lightning-quick team captains David Mitchell and Lee Mack.

🤣 it’s hard to argue with David’s opinion of music after hearing that mess.
When someone says that they disapprove of music, I take it as a whimsical quip. When David says it, I believe him.
I believed him years ago, this is an old clip.
Why would anyone think that anyone might "disapprove" of music?
Well I certainly believe him after that performance...
One of the best !!
Standard vanilla ice cream? Well, I guess after the fireworks incident, they would have had to branch out to other industries, after all.
A normal amount of sugar will be supplied to ensure your bonfire nights remain ordinary
😂😂😂😂 Brilliant!
At least ot wasn't that "Not" brand
@@alexread676717 sugars?
Standard Vanilla - Adam Ant! Excellent Rob.
whats the joke? I dnt get it, i'm not UK
@@emu_warrior In the UK during the late 70s early 80s there was a popular New Wave band called Adam and the Ants - lead singer Adam Ant. In 1981 they had a number-one hit record "Stand and Deliver - Your Money or Your Life"
@@Kari_B61ex thanks for that
@@Kari_B61ex thank you! Was born in the 90s and had no idea what the joke was
David Mitchel was completely right... they had changed the definition of better
Doubtless a few pints helped everyone.
I knew before a word was uttered that Billy and Ed would be the right answer and I’d never seen the episode before 😂
Not sure why David Baddiel said to Jo “I’ve been to your house and l didn’t see him!” 😂 Why would he see her neighbour?
I’ve lived in my house for like 8 years and I don’t think I’ve ever seen my own neighbours lol.
After that karaoke bit, I too disapprove of music.
the littl'ns, you know, the wee'ns.
I’m sorry but I cannot go on without mentioning how beautiful Ed’s eyes are. That colour is just way too nice. I was staring at them the whole video every time the camera was on him, I could not not mention it.
Interesting thing I just realized: This came out in 2017, and it's clear David and Jo are friends. So when they were teamed up on Taskmaster in 2019 it was old hat for them. No wonder they vibed so well on the "not really doing anything" team spirit. 😉
Not important. I just assume the Taskmaster teams are generally meeting for the first time and have no idea how they would work together.
They've appeared together on this and other shows many times over at least 10 years
Why are the comments turned off on the video after this and why does it include Rob's impression of Huw Edwards?
Ye dogs!
I could have heard them doing that karaoke (It certainly doesn't deserve to be called music) before the choice and it would have reinforced my choice of Jo being the one telling the truth!
Damn, that was some of the worst karaoke singing I've heard in decades!
By what name goes the blond woman on David's team?
Kimberly Wyatt
Using what definition of syntax did you construct that sentence? 😂
To her the name which was given is indeed Kimberly Wyatt.
@@outbuy I do not seem to understand your sentence. I am not a native English speaker. Please enlighten me
@@Lazarus-aap Your English was fine, it just sounded overly formal to say "By what name" instead of "What is the name." The preposition "by" in front of the pronoun gives it more emphasis than is usual.
That’s very funny. Especially Ed and Billy at the end. I’m struggling to understand Rob’s reaction to Lee’s chain reaction joke though - I didn’t think it was that funny, just a quip. I feel like I missed the joke. If you get it, help me out please?
Chain Reaction is a Diana Ross song, so it linked it neatly to Ed's story
I was going to ask who that song bit was for, but I guess you answered that it's for you. Which is fine. Enjoy what you like. For me though, I skip it.
@@nwsimon 🙄Ahh thanks 🙌👏
@@nwsimonI was equally confused so appreciate the explanation.
Bringing a polly, aka a professional liar, onto the show is a bit unfair.
Ed Balls wasting a chair on WILTY is worth as much as the Velveeta Voldemort being president.
MAGA!
