There is SO MUCH thinly veiled advertising in Australian news I instantly believed Sam when he said it was a little product placement at the tail end of a news program.
I knew instantly what kind of advertising bit it was... 9news or 7news or something always have an as seen on tv product at the end of their news segments

I don't know how much in his verbal and physical behaviour is intentional and how much is genuine awkwardness, nonchalance, daydreaming and failure to read social cues but result is delightful.

Sam’s a one off isn’t he? Lee’s “roast chicken” gag was insanely fast. I heard on a BTS podcast recently that the sometimes have to edit gaps in before some of his jokes because he’s so fast it sounds scripted.
I'm a watchmaker and I guessed it was Lee. He knew the date was a complication and that cogs were called wheels. That did it for me. (I've never seen Michaels channel).
