Em is such a master. This diss is a shot for shot answer to MGK (and then some). Em writes in double entendre and there is A LOT of history that is missing since you are not familiar with his work. There are several videos out there that break down and explain each line of “Killshot” and the underlying meanings. (I think it was Knox Hill who did a really good break down of both “Killshot” and “Rap Devil”). There is quite a bit of history behind this.

There are so many layers in this diss track. It's insane! Here are a few of my favorites:
1. Eminem released KILLSHOT on September 14th and told MGK he would make him Swayze.
2. Patrick Swayze was in a movie called ‘Ghost’ in which his character is, a ghost. Patrick Swayze died on September 14th.
3. Killshot is a Movie, based on a Hitman who has to kill a man named Colson. MGK's name is Richard Colson Baker.
4. On September 7th, Eminem went live on IG and played Ms. Pac-Man for 7 minutes straight.
5. September 7th is the day that Pac was shot and MGK has a Pac-Man tattoo over his collarbones. (Neck area.)
6. Eminem’s "give Jade-a-kiss" line, followed up with the "game been same just the locks changed" (The Lox, Em's hair color, Jadakiss, Jade is Hailie’s middle name.)

People who think MGK killed Em and think KILLSHOT wasn't good or hard enough clearly don't understand the bars. They don't take the time to understand the bars, layers, double and triple entendres that Em spits. It's sad that these new cats don't truly understand a 'diss' track.
The layers in Em's diss are absolutely insane! He is so incredibly talented and won't dumb his bars down for these lazy mumble rap kids.

For those that don’t know Em has a song about a hyper fixated stalker fan named Stan and his fans call themselves Stans. Also. The beef started when MGK made a comment about Em’s (at the time) underage daughter Hailey. But MGK would praise Em and basically call him his ideal so in Kamikaze Em called MGK out. So MGK dropped the garbage fire that was Rap devil to mock rap god.

It was such a crazy weekend when MGK released his diss track. Everyone was just sitting their waiting and debating. So many saying MGK was crazy for even trying to take on EM. Everyone was either saying EM has to respond and finish him or were saying EM shouldn't even dignify MGK with a response. Either way everyone knew when Killshot was dropped EM was about to drop a bomb on MGK.
I always look at the comments first and when I see “You should have watched Rap Devil first” I don’t watch the video lol Then I know they won’t get most of the bars or why Em said them and I wait till they watch Rap Devil and then if they redo Killshot I watch it (no offense, I like watching your channel 🙂)

The "heart attack" ref was to Richard "Machine Gun" Kelly, mgks namesake, who died of a heart attack.
Killshot was released Sept 14. 7 days after the 7 minute ig live. He says "one call to interscope, and you swayze" ... Patrick Swayze died Sept 14.

Machine gun Kelly released a diss track for Eminem on Labor Day and 36 hours later Eminem posted this video on to his UA-cam channel. MGK never made a response to this track.

This is a response to MGK talking/rapping.
this diss is nothing compared to the feud between Everlast (in the early 90's he was part of the Irish hip-hop group 'The House Of Pain') & Eminem.
Back story: Everlast passed Eminem in a lobby. Eminem didn't say anything to him, Everlast did not like this and thought it was disrespectful.
The beef started when Everlast used subliminal disses at Eminem in the song "Ear Drums Pop (Remix)”. Sometime in 2000 Eminem released a diss "I Remember" as an response to those hits towards him. In October 1, 2000. Everlast made a response to the diss "Whitey’s Revenge" which he started to mention about Eminem's paternity with his daughter Hallie. so, do all these together and you'll see how Em completely DESTROYED Everlast. Em don't fuck around or hold back when it comes to diss tracks.
