I like that Eminem also wrote the other battlers’ raps. So he was sitting there thinking about how to dis himself.
That’s a cool fun fact
He didn't tell Anthony Mackie that he was doing research on him the actor to make up disses on poppa doc. That's why his reactions look real. Caught him off gaurd
@@d20nomad82Yup. I don’t know if he actually went to Cranbrook, but apparently is real name is actually Clarence lol.
He wrote all the raps throughout the whole movie except one. Parking lot rap battle. he was supposed to write a rap for it, but he was so busy he didn't get a chance to. It's when it's time to shoot the scene, he told them that he's just going to do something off the top of his head. So that one is an actual legit freestyle
Fun fact Eminem is not even human
She wasn't hating at the end there. She was actually apologizing in her own way
Same with Wink. Dude did Rabbit dirty but at the end of the day he was happy for him.
This is why he should watch the movie
that's what I always thought may Britney Murphy rest in peace
Yeah it was an inside joke between the two
That's the way they met, this was thier first encounter so it made sense to end it that way out of accepting her mistake and just letting it go
All I'll say is you should watch "8 Mile". It's a great film. It's way more than rap battles. There's a good personal story told with tons of character developments from an outstanding cast of supporting actors.
Best hip hop movie. By far.
Fax
If you want to react to movie rap battles check out Bodied.
Bro he has to watch 8 mile, I'm sounding biased here but Eminem is such a good actor honestly, one of the main reasons he has the best music videos, his acting is crazy good
Def should watch this movie....one of the greatest movies of all time imo
The Em middle finger is his signature sign. Her doing it to him was a sign of approval.
The ending of this is great. Usually you want to go 2nd in a battle so you can react to whatever they said. But here, he put it all out. He left the last dude with nothing he could say 😂 He played that brilliantly
how do you rip someone that just spent their entire verse ripping themselves in a way that disarmed everything you planned to say?
and Em knew what he was doing. He knew it was going to be the exact same insults as the other 2 battles, in a different wrapping. so might as well lay it out there.
His boy came through for him cos if he didn't ask him if he ain't worried what p. Dot gon say he wouldn't have gotten creative with it
dont forgot the fact that it mirrors the beginning of movie where em chokes then makes papa doc choke at the end
well it was written that way.......
I could write a thesis on these ending rap battles.
There's no shame in getting jumped. Wear that crap proudly. If you've ever gotten jumped, it's because your enemy was too afraid to confront you without backup. Plain and simple.
Thanks for the reaction, that was fun.
FRR not only did Wink have to trick the girl to even get alone with her, and we all know she was doing it to get that “ticket” out of the city she had previously talked about. So that’s still really Eminem’s hoe anyway, But he also got the shit beat out of him. It’s a good thing he’s big talk and got in with another big talker with a gun/multiple sheeple cus if not he’d be finished.
EM wrote all the freestyles for both sides.
And that last battle, Em went in on Anthony (the actual Actor not the character) who did go to a private school named Cranbrook and his real name is Clarence. Hence how real his reaction is.
@@chrisdobbs9155 I hope this is satire
@@j_excalibur_0251 No Anthony himself said so in an interview.
is this real?!
if so- awesome xD
@@rahbeat9785 Yes its real lol he said it in an interview
Yea, Brittany Murphy (RIP) at the end was his girlfriend but the flipping off was sort of a respect between them both because she always pushed him to be who he was because she knew he was special.
my forever number one celeb crush
She fucked another dude 💀
I kinda believe that Alex was presenting Mariah Carey cuz he said in his song ,,we just met and I just f u" which was about Mariah. Like u know that one scene with rabbit and Alex that's what I'm talking bout but idk
@@Mkenzie68 Superman isn't about Mariah, it just has a diss line towards Mariah in it
Good Catch - yes it's a young Anthony Mackie 12 years before his MCU debut, this was his FIRST MOVIE!
Go Cap!
What’s even funnier is that Eminem actually googled Anthony Mack (the actor that played “Papa Doc”) and was spitting about Anthony Macky’s real life shit 😂
“Lets see if he can win by going first”
Bruh its Eminem, you cant let him go first and you cant let him go last because he will still win.
As soon as B Rabbit turned the crowd against Papa Doc, he had already won. He then put him on blast with his real life facts and exposed him playing gangster this whole time, he then proceeded to roast himself so that Papa Doc would have nothing else to say. Absolute genius and a just masterpiece of bars 🔥
Psychological damage. He stated everything the other dude could use as ammunition and fired it himself. The perfect response to going first. If you use everything what else can your enemy use against you? Nothing. Plus outing him probably messed up the guy too.
When the "Shook Ones" part 2 beat comes on, i always get goosebumps.
Onyx - Last Dayz. Thats the second beat and love that one as well! Love the East Coast sound it has
we be the infamous you heard of us
Love this... 8 Mile is the movie where Em hit Papa Doc so hard, he quit rapping and became an Avenger.
Even I, a washed up, Norwegian black metal enthusiast have seen this movie (and liked it)🙂
Hallo på do
@@finn9898 Hallo sjøl🙂
Captain America sitting there thinking, that boy snapped….Eminem has literally made an entire career of holding the torch with every verse he’s written since…regardless of who was on the track with him….GOAT
The ending battles are great. If you can get your hands on the dvd, in the bonus features, Eminem battles some of the movie extras during breaks in filming. Worth the watch.
That sounds amazing!
(Yes I'm extracting actual life lessons out of this fictitious rap battle scene from a movie)
There are two really useful things to pick up on in what Rabbit (Eminem) does here:
First, he is honest about his past and talks about it openly - this is especially important for anyone trying to have a public presence, or be a celebrity, or a politician. If you think about how many scandals happen where someone tries to blackmail someone or calls them out for something private, all of that is avoided if you beat everyone to the punch and share your past on your own. It's also a good idea to try and live in a way such that you'd not be embarrassed if the world saw you do something.
Second about communication in general: If you are talking with folks especially if you are laying out some sort of plan or suggestion or giving a presentation - it's helpful to try and think about what the likely concerns, objections, and counterarguments are going to be and address them in your talking points in advance - this reduces the likelihood of someone interrupting you and also shows that you've thought through your idea which will help convince some folks that may be on the fence about it. As a good rule of thumb you want at least 3 reasons why you think something is a good idea because most people don't think through things that deeply so if you have at least 3 reasons you'll probably have enough to win over most folks.
This is ESPECIALLY good to get in the habit in with any sort of job or career - the people that are good at presentations, speaking, and writing - are the people who get promoted more easily or asked to be leaders. VERY important to know that the most important general skill to learn and improve on is to be more articulate - that is useful no matter what job you have or get.
Cheers.
This whole clip is so much like a debate team, except real life words are used.
Long story short Eminem verbally assassinated him. Covering all angles of counterattacks is/was a smart move by Eminem thats why he never loss a rap battle except that one he did way back against the MC Otherwize.
Edit- Also well written my guy.
Nice 👏
You may also notice, out of the gate Eminem attempts to bring the crowd into the battle by recognizing a common denominator - in this case the area code they're from, thereby marshalling his forces towards an outsider.
8 mile is one of those movies that has about 30 minutes of highlight reel, and the rest is just punching you in the feels.
Papa doc reaction when Em said but i know something about you. It was actually real life facts about that actor.
How, if you don't mind me asking?
@@brandonlozier4404 basically and went to him and said there's no reason for me not to like you so would you mind if I add some stuff about you on the final rap. Anthony looking confused said about Mimi or about Papa Doc? And just laughed and said no about Papa Doc. Then in the final film when he talks about him that is his real facts. Just in case here is a clip that I looked up for you

@@brandonlozier4404 sorry this is the right one
ua-cam.com/video/3ODXNDgeBMc/v-deo.html
@@matthewramirez6300 I appreciate the link but I'm still confused. We both know the actors name isn't Clarence. It's Anthony Mackey. And Anthony went to North Carolina school of arts and Julliard not Cranbrook. Not trying to start anything, I'm just curious. Thanks you for reply. I do appreciate it.
@@brandonlozier4404 haha no worries I believe it had to do mostly with the "clarence " parents had a real good marriage. He grew up with both parents and was loved, Em thought saying that to him as Papa Doc would get under his skin and it did. Mackey later admitted that was kinda low to make fun of me because I had loving parents.
Papa Doc's verse tho. "Yo..." Amazing.
Also, Em wrote all of the lyrics in this movie. He based them off of what was actually said (I believe), no one disses Em as hard as he disses himself (Bad Guy is a great example). Oh! Except for the last one, Em actually did some research so Clarence is getting roasted for real (I also believe Anthony was surprised when Em started listing off personal lore.)
If you notice you've seen Eminem smirk and laugh when he said leave it to Beaver but a lot of people don't know is Eminem wrote all their lyrics when they wrapped against him he wrote all of their wraps and lyrics for them that's why he laughed when he said leave it to Beaver lol
I love this movie and it's based on Eminem's life coming up and his struggle to make something of himself. He's a genius.
He re-framed the conversation, getting out ahead of him by being honest. That's why you never hide your true self. Be honest and proud.
I love this movie and I enjoy revisiting the rap battles, but watching your reaction takes it to a whole new level. Your video is gold, my friend.
I know im late but that “captain america” guy didnt know what eminem was gonna say in the script and he rapped about his actual life outside of acting. Thats why his flabbergasted face looked so believable
You really should have watched the movie before the battles it gives the needed context for the lyrics to hit a lot harder and it would have made the whole end scene more enjoyable.
That Lotto line after the music cuts out is hard. Referencing the opponent’s name, lottery tickets and get his mom’s number in half a bar.
'here, tell these people something they don't know about me...'
most epic Mic Drop :D
hes not "Captain America" He's the American Falcon! Captain America just gave him his shield to use after Infinity Wars!
He is Captain America. That was the whole point of his show.
Yes he is Captain America, fake fan.
@@SkilasSkilasGaming who said i was a fan, I'm just going by the costume he wears, and the character he played in the movies i have seen!
@@PsychotiX1022 what show?
@@garylopez1632 ok well you're wrong.. when he is given the shield, he became captain america
The film "8 Mile" is a classic. It's one of the greatest retribution endings to a movie of all-time.
Its Funny you Called Captain America, Captain America In this Context and when I was watching Falcon and winter soldier I was calling him Pappa Doc lol
I love that you are breaking down lines ever other person on earth has already heard 😂 and without context since you didn’t watch the movie. This is top YT content 😂
It amazes me to this day how freakishly good, crisp and sharp this movie is, atmospheric, none bad actors, none dumb unnecessary scenes, solid as can be. And the fact it came not from some world renowned director is even crazier. I always recommended to see this movie even to those who has zero knowledge or interest in rap, because it's just a cool film. Remember watching it on some pirated VHS with a quite questionable image quality and translation to my language when I was a kid, what a memory. I watched this movie probable at least 2 dozen times throughout the years
(glad they didn't translate battles and let me hear the flow back then =)
Em buried that last mans so deep he came back out a superhero 😂
I loved let it shine!! Glad you made that comparisons!😂
Notice why the parents are there in the first place 💔🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Stumbled onto your channel tonight, this movie is great but it will get over hyped on you, I love it for all the rap battles in it.
I saw an interview w/ Anthony Mackie, the actor who played PapaDoc, the last round Eminem wrote and asked Anthony I’m gonna use some of your real life, is that ok? Anthony said yes, but didn’t know he was gonna go so hard on Anthony’s REAL life, till he heard it. Crazy! I love behind the scenes stories like that! Great movie ❤
It’s so much better when you know it’s someone’s first time watching this lol
When you mentioned let it shine 🙂 I started rapping along with you
HE JUST "LET IT SHINE" HIM HAD ME DEADDDD, I KNOW EXACTLY WHAT YOU WERE TALKIN BOUT, I REMEMBERED ALL THEM LYRICS TOO
You cant say he let it shined him. The writers got that shit from THIS movie😂 Let it shine 8 miled that shit you feel me💀. I fuckin love this movie
You should watch the movie, the second guy he challenged in what you just watched was actually one of the people hired to be in the crowd. One day they had down time and started doing rap battles and this guy won and got a place in the movie.
He grew up poor as shit, and this is his passion and talent but he hasn’t grown up and he has confidence issues. It’s a coming of age story, for an aspiring rap artist. You’ll enjoy it I am a white girl from Canada and I didn’t even really like Eminem until I saw this movie. It completely changed my opinion about him and was a damn good story too.
This is the moment he decided to stop rapping and become a superhero instead, cause fighting Thanos was way easier than battling Eminem
Your facial expressions were everything lol
“I don’t even know what ending battles mean…” 🤣 Love it
What's cool is after the movie, there's video of him letting the Detroit artist freestyle/audition for the rap part
Phenomenal completely destroyed I’m from Grand Rapids Michigan still live there and I’ve been to 8 mile so many times, I love Detroit
I love the last one so much. When you roast yourself so hard there is nothing else for the other guy to do.
Ur expressions r truly priceless .
And the first parts of Rabbits rap its his True Life Jounrey for a long time .
I love your reaction you making me laugh ty Cammm ya that's the girl 🐐👍😭
Priceless ending to this awesome movie that I was a huge fan of Eminem when i was in high school
The final scene of him dissing himself is like stealing an opponents gun during a duel and shooting himself in the foot before handing it back and telling em to land a solid shot on him. All out of ammunition
Slim always has the best come back he will use his tragedies in his life and his battles so you can’t say nothing about him no more cause he’s already said that shit
Lose yourself in the music was the song he wrote while filming it one of my favorite songs.
Man..you need to watch 8 Mile! lol. You understand a lot more when you watch it! Its awesome!
I’ve never understood the whole “yeah they call me rabbit, this is a turtle race” it’s obviously a reference to the tortoise and the hare. But in that story the tortoise wins
But the hare could have easily one but was just lazy, that's how I took it. This rabbit in this movie is not going to lay down and nap, so he can easily win.
When Eminem said “That’s a private school” he actually called it out on the actor irl it’s true
Went cinema to watch this first night was out in England back then, everyone walked out after thinking they could rap like Eminem hahhaa - great film.
He plays himself in the movie but calls himself "Rabbit". Take a peak at 8 mile you'll enjoy it.
He doesn’t play himself. That was not his life. His character is called Jimmy. Jimmy’s rap name is B Rabbit.
Honestly I watch the ending rap battles on the regular and I love to see people react but honestly young man for you to really get the whole ending battles you need to see the movie because that is the highlight of what the movie Len up to❤❤❤
Awesome reaction bro
idk how anyone hasnt seen 8 mile. It's like pure 2000s pop culture
There's nothing more impressive then some "self-deprivation". 🤣
i have watched these rap battles so many times and the mrs. cleaver (leave it to beaver tv show from the 1960s)..If you know the show, it makes the lines that much funnier...But yeah amazing reaction!!! And i heard Em wrote the lyrics for the other rappers...Not sure if this is true, but that's what I read.
That you listen again to catch it or be sure what you heard, it's good.-Ernie Moore Jr.
This is even better in the context of the movie.
Man that beat is 🔥🔥👍
It’s a must see film. Hard to watch at times - but worth it!!
Hip hop shop and the shelter. Em was signed 2 years b4 his 1st album. He was a ghost writer to start.
Let it shine is literally the PG version of this 😂😂😂😂

Definitely watch the movie. A lot of the lines in the battle will make more sense.
Can't watch end battle without watching movie. It's all tied into the end.
Yes check out the scene when he was at work getting lunch.
Other co workers had a battle to cool.
Im now 67 years old but if i remember right the movie 8 Miles came out in the 1990's i believe i was in my 30's then .
The story line of the movie was so sad . Watch it you h
May feel a tad different for Rabbit ( thst was the name his friends called him . And he had black friends Sir . They helped him & protected him .
They diss him so bad he went became a avenger 😂😂😂
Fun Fact: Eminem wrote every single lyric in this scene for the other rappers dissing him.. he basically dissed himself and responded to it all haha
You’re so fun to watch!!
She wasn't hating, that was just their thing. You see both of them are smiling.
Man just wanted to remind the room a full moon is white dawg hahaha
“B-Rabbit!! B-Rabbit!! B-Rabbit!!!”
First thing I thought of when I saw it was Let it Shine… he “let it shined him” 😭😭
Fun fact Em wrote all the raps in the movie,
NOT "HE LET IT SHINED HIM"💀💀💀
8 Mile is about Eminem s story about how his upbringing and how he became Eminem
I never get tired of people reacting to Rabbit
"The film, which contains autobiographical elements from Eminem's life, follows white rapper Jimmy Smith Jr.Wikipedia"
He took away his arsenal 😂
😂😂 he reaction so natural
Yes, it seems the actor plays a role as an Avenger later.-Ernie Moore Jr.
