(Yes I'm extracting actual life lessons out of this fictitious rap battle scene from a movie) There are two really useful things to pick up on in what Rabbit (Eminem) does here: First, he is honest about his past and talks about it openly - this is especially important for anyone trying to have a public presence, or be a celebrity, or a politician. There are two really useful things to pick up on in what Rabbit (Eminem) does here:
First, he is honest about his past and talks about it openly - this is especially important for anyone trying to have a public presence, or be a celebrity, or a politician. If you think about how many scandals happen where someone tries to blackmail someone or calls them out for something private, all of that is avoided if you beat everyone to the punch and share your past on your own. It's also a good idea to try and live in a way such that you'd not be embarrassed if the world saw you do something.
Second about communication in general: If you are talking with folks especially if you are laying out some sort of plan or suggestion or giving a presentation - it's helpful to try and think about what the likely concerns, objections, and counterarguments are going to be and address them in your talking points in advance - this reduces the likelihood of someone interrupting you and also shows that you've thought through your idea which will help convince some folks that may be on the fence about it. As a good rule of thumb you want at least 3 reasons why you think something is a good idea because most people don't think through things that deeply so if you have at least 3 reasons you'll probably have enough to win over most folks.
This is ESPECIALLY good to get in the habit in with any sort of job or career - the people that are good at presentations, speaking, and writing - are the people who get promoted more easily or asked to be leaders. VERY important to know that the most important general skill to learn and improve on is to be more articulate - that is useful no matter what job you have or get.

He didn’t say let it shine i love this 😂
Lose yourself in the music was the song he wrote while filming it one of my favorite songs.
Priceless ending to this awesome movie that I was a huge fan of Eminem when i was in high school
8 Mile is about Eminem s story about how his upbringing and how he became Eminem
Definitely watch the movie. A lot of the lines in the battle will make more sense.
Every time I hear that last battle I can’t help but nod with the beat lol
He plays himself in the movie but calls himself "Rabbit". Take a peak at 8 mile you'll enjoy it.
He doesn’t play himself. That was not his life. His character is called Jimmy. Jimmy’s rap name is B Rabbit.
The fact that the rap battle against papa doc is real apart from private school and his name
This movie is the Rocky of Hip Hop and so underrated. Classic
All I'll say is you should watch "8 Mile". It's a great film that was the end of the movie. you need to watch 8mile to get all the context.
Your facial expressions were everything lol
Yes, it seems the actor plays a role as an Avenger later.-Ernie Moore Jr.
He did not “let it shined him” let it shine came out many years after this and was pretty much Disney 8 mile
She wasn't hating, that was just their thing. You see both of them are smiling.
In the movie his name is Jimmy Smith Jr. (Or, B Rabbit.)
Fun Fact: Eminem wrote every single lyric in this scene for the other rappers dissing him.. he basically dissed himself and responded to it all haha
Eminem literally wrote all of the raps. And the movie is called "8 Mile"
Em was beast back then, now he is straight up goat status...
Bruh his reaction to every fckn punchline is hilarious ngl
Little known fact….. Em rewrote his last battle rap there. Papa Doc’s final rap was originally better than Em’s. So when it came time to do the actual final recording after rehearsals, Em spit this out. Nobody knew till the recording started. Papa Doc was actually a battle rapper before he turned to acting as well. Sadly, he passed not long ago.🔥🔥🔥
And that’s when the mic drop was born 🐣
Funny thing is you probably remember Clarance as Falcon. But he is Captain America now.
So you were wrong but also right.
I remember Clarence as Papa Doc. In fact, when that superhero movie came out I was like, "Is that Papa Doc?"
Went cinema to watch this first night was out in England back then, everyone walked out after thinking they could rap like Eminem hahhaa - great film.
I was 7 when it came out and my parents took me lmfao. They had to fight the theater people because they didn’t want to let me in because it was rated r like mfer I wss 7 years old knowing his lyrics let my ass in there
i love that you didnt stop the video ever other second. loved the actual reations.
That you listen again to catch it or be sure what you heard, it's good.-Ernie Moore Jr.
idk how anyone hasnt seen 8 mile. It's like pure 2000s pop culture
This is even better in the context of the movie.
