Both Kanye and Wayne rewrote their verses after they heard Em's verse. This was the start of "Eminem goes last no matter what" and only since then has that rule been broken on very few special occasions.

It's true that Ye did rewrite his verse for that reason but not entirely true about Wayne. He did have to change his verse but it's mostly bc his original was with another artist that wasn't in this. He changed it so that it would go along and flow more with the others. I'm sure that Em's verse did have a bit of an impact on how Wayne redid his verse though. Just wanted to clear that up so that the whole story was known.

So I was a huuuge Eminem fan growing up. His first mainstream album dropped when I was in early high school/late middle school. Em hd been out of the game for a while, working on his Recovery etc. when I saw that Em was in this song and heard him spit new lines again for the first time in probably 5 years was amazing.
He came back to the game a little bit at a time. I think this was the first time anyone had seen him for years! He took it slow...best if he didn't put a lot of pressure on himself all at once! Too easy to relapse!
Wicked Ways and No Apologizes are two of Eminems most underrated songs as far as reactions to them go.

When you’ve been around through it all the albums do all have their own sound, the Slim Shady and MMS do have an old sound to them Eminem Show has a quality about it, one of them he went mad on the accents, Encore I think it was called and then Relapse was uniquely weird, I think Recovery saved lives and was true quality when nobody expected it, and all the rest since have evolved. He never stands still but the rest of the genre has, and at times gone backward, you cannot overlook what he’s done so many times and always different, that’s a rare thing in any genre.
Every individual album he ever released in the U.K. reached number 1, (after the Slim Shady LP got to No. 10 when rap wasn’t in the U.K. chart back then). It’s odd because it was actually the Dre 2001 album that got a lot peoples attention, Eminem went from there, D12 then 50 Cent, so many have come and gone.I think it made people aware of 2Pac Biggie and all before too. The genre established itself as a result.
