  • Allbirds Wool Runner vs Tree Runner - Which One is Best For You?
I have been really enjoying both the ‪@allbirds‬ Wool Runner and Tree Runner shoes. There are a lot of similarities between the shoes. Same looks, same insole, same midsole, same tread.
But, there are some major differences as well. I go over those in this video.

Thank you Paul! I love both of them. Using the wool ones today, the Tree Runners tomorrow when it is warmer. Glad you found it helpful my friend!

I bought tree runner but I will choose wool next time cuz it's more soft and comfortable. Tree it's. Little tight for. Me

I agree the tree runner is a little tighter. I use them without socks. Wool with socks.

You are a generous gift giver! I bet they will love the Allbirds. Get yourself a Tree Runner. They are very comfortable and versatile. The Wool Runners are great in cooler temps. I just picked up the Wool Runner Up Mizzle for winter here in Denver.

Do you feel the Tree Runner is much more breathable than the Wool Runner? I own the Wool Runner, it's really comfortable and my feet stink less in them than in synthetic shoes. Currently eyeing the Tree Runners.

Yes. The tree runner breath better. I use the wool in cooler months. Tree in warmer.

The Tree Runner pictured in this video is the "Mist" colorway on the site, yes?

I found my tree runners held up a lot better than wool. They just looked better after a lot of use

If you process Wood you (can) get
    - cellulose. The basement for Lyocell-fibres Like Tencel(R) and
    - Lignin, which can be carbonized to a percusor for carbon-fibre. But so far Not on Performance Level for aerospace and Automotive carbon-fibres. There the percusor(-fibre) is petrochemical based (plastic). But Wood i.e. Lignin based percusors and the carbon-fibre Made with it via carbonization should be okay for carbon-fibre reinforced insoles and the Matryx-yarn (See Salomon, Salewa, etc.).
Tencel Like wool has Future at Outdoor Hardware...
But never wear Cotton socks in shoes with wool lining. Cotton is aggressive and too Strong for wool. Furthermore don't wash your socks with Something which uses enzymes Like Protease - all bleeching products and products for coloured cloths do use diverse enzymes and Protease is Always used - while I can Not Tell if Tencel(R) can be killed by the Enzym Cellulase.
Enzymes eat diverse Fabrics/Yarns/Fibres. And socks washed with Something incl. Protease even accumulate Protease over time.
Best for wool incl. Wool socks is Speick Amytis.
Best for functional Sportswear, any Fleece and synthetic socks is Sonett Liquid Color.
On the other Side. Synthetic fabric even Superfabric(R) can eat itself by Not Being cleaned from dust and/or mud.
Leather, which is more or less a Natural collagene fabric is Most dust and mud-robust. Also wool protects itself from eating itself due to dust and mud. Tencel(R) I would rate as the better or best Viscose. I have a Outdoor-Shirt Made of Tencel(R)...👍

Hello my friend! That is a lot of very good information. I will be picking up some Speick Amytis for my wool washing :). Agreed on the cotton as well. All wool for us. I do love the Tencel as well. It is so nice to see these awesome natural materials being used in shoes. Thanks for the knowledge. Take care!

Every review talking about how they are ok in warm weather conditions. Then they m
ention warm is like 76-78 degrees. I friggin WISH that was warm. Florida is slowly melting into the ocean. Problem is I despise flip flops not being from here.
