Talk about your impulse purchase! I just ordered mine and can't wait to put it to work.
Woah. That must be for real if the man Black Bear himself bought one! Amazing!
👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼
NO WAY!!! So honoured and pumped to send you a hammer! Thank you so much! Hope we can meet in person some day and talk shop.
Keep the forge lit brother!
@@TimothyDyck That would be fun. I love seeing the new generation of smiths pushing the envelope.
Tell how I just saw your flatter video on Facebook and now find you commenting on one of my favorite blacksmiths video!
Explaining the different angles and uses of the hammer and why a straight edge, or rounded is better--- one of the best videos you've made in awhile. More of these details please. That kind of content is priceless
Why not sell a ti hammer from your shop next. You and Martin could have a boutique special tool for the store. Some different weights and styles could be a great gig. I coveted that ti creation since you posted the video! 👍 😃
Those look amazing. Wish I was in a place to buy one. Great work you two. Those finger jointed boxes are a classy touch, just beautiful.
That is genius how he forges 2 hammers at once
man 275 $ ?
i like you but
this is not what i call giving back to the community.
I did some rough calculations, and it works out, with expenses and all, for us to be working for about $30 an hour… Not too extravagant a wage (if you ask me) for what most people would call highly skilled labour and product development.
I just watched a 13 min advert....and loved it!
Was my eyes playing tricks or did the box say “cross pien hammer” at the start but the right after the box said “cross pein hammer”
Yes you're right!
It's tough because it looks almost like Tim is thinking "Yeah, this is a nice hammer, but not as nice as the Titanium hammer".
imagine if he started producing them to sell😅
@@dragonwing4ever I have, and I don't want to take anything away from these 1912 Cross Piens, I will probably buy one, but it's comparing an exotic Titanium hammer and a steel one, apples and oranges. I think he made a framing hammer out of Ti that sold for $2.3kUSD? So, I think a titanium hammer similar to what he uses usually would be around $1.5-2k retail. It's definitely something to thing about as he talks about the performance of that steel hammer vs his standard Ti hammer, you might almost expect it to pale in comparison no matter what, so the fact that he speaks highly of this collaboration definitely speaks to the skill in craftmanship vs straight material superiority.
I have an Ethan hearty/ stelter/ Steele collaboration squaring and rounding hammer. Kids seriously talented and love my hammer
1:17 ... Guess some people would consider it brutal ...
Btw, new subscriber from Holland ... 😎😎!!
Nice looking hammers. If they were about $100 less, I would consider picking one up, but $300 after S&H is too much for me.
It is for me as well unfortunately. It's really hard to justify $275 USD. Maybe he will adjust the price at some point

I don’t have a use for one but can appreciate the work that goes into it. Always enjoy your content, please keep it coming.
Heard you on the Art of Craftsmanship podcast this morning, and saw a thumbnail for one of your videos just now. UA-cam was reading my mind! Glad I watched and subscribed! Looking forward to seeing more!
What a beautiful piece of a tool! Wish I could buy one
I just bought 2 hammers off ebay the guy has them at a buy now price of 150each but the starting bid is only 50 I got a 2lb Rounding Hammer for 50 and a 3lb Crosspeen for 50 I was the only one to bid on them and they are really nice handforged hammers out of 1045 great deal I don't know how the guy can do all that work for that cheep and still make money
Tim just got my hammer looks great # 18 I’d like to send you a written thank will the PO Box in Sumas work ?
Number 27 just arrived in the mail today ! It looks Awesome ! Great work ! Now to put it to work on a project .

I would love to have one in a 20-22 oz! I work alot in Alum Fab and it would be PERFECT
Nothing quite like a 300 dollar blacksmith hammer
Soo nice! Just can't swing the $275😩 hats off to you man. Great job.
Buy once, cry once. That’s a lifetime hammer right there.
@@OOOHBILLY heirloom hammer
@@OOOHBILLY i completely agree.
Hell yeah!
Cool hammer. Not something I can afford but nice to see being made and used.
Congratulations! They look amazing
I’m not a blacksmith, but I might buy one of these just to become one!
When will you be making more cross peens
Where’d you get that brown shirt??
Those 1919 axes look amazing!
Why not make the hammers yourself?
Yo yo yo
Those are awesome
not a three hundred dollar hammer
Are these hammers also priced in USD? it doesn’t say in the product description like all your other products but I’m assuming it is.
Yes. I’ll update the site. My apologies for missing that.
Mine arrived today and the videos are great but they dont do justice to how beautiful this hammer is, I almost dont want to use it for fear of messing it up!
Thanks Mark for the kind words! Glad it arrived safely!
Wow great product! I was about to buy one. For me the price is ok for the quality you get. But sadly shipping from canada to germany would cost 130$ plus Tax in germany. So sorry but that would make nearly 500$. Thats a lot of money, so unfortunately no hammer for me
how are my friend .take care for your health..إعتن بنفسك جيدا
Absolutely beautiful Timothy. So glad to hear that. Can't wait to see more videos soon my friend. Keep up the great craftsmanship and hard work Timmothy. Forge On. Fab On. Keep Making. Keep forge lit. God bless.
Thought I was going crazy at 0:06 when "cross pien" changed to "cross pein" on the box. Lmao
Fantastic job Timothy. Keep the forge lit and keep up the great work.
Gorgeous hammer! Unfortunately I already have a few cross peens I love. I look forward to the video where you’re making rounding hammers. Great work Tim. Keep it up!
I believe you will sell a lot of hammers and other tools if made. Everyone can use a hammer or hand tools. To be honest, Not everyone needs an axe. They did look good and was well worth the buy.. if the buyer had wood to split. Unless they simply wanted a wall hanger for decoration, which isn’t a bad idea at all. Best of luck Tim, I think your going to do well with this.
hi men
"Keep the forge lit." is cool and all, but the "Hey?" at the end really tells the rest of the story. Well done Sir! I dearly wish that I needed just such a hammer.
Lovely hammer! Especially enjoyed seen the separation of the two hammers from one piece at 2:00. And Loads if nice technique with the cross peene there!
U need to do titanium hammers 4 sale i know they would not b cheep but I think they would sell i would buy one 4 shore
feel you! sold my first Bowie a week ago! hell if I didn't try to talk him out of it! all I could see were imperfection and things I'd like to improve
Hey Tim - Love watching your work. Your aesthetic is a source of inspiration for my own products, and this is no difference. I'll have to get one of these :)
Those look so good! Quality like no other! Coming from a true smith who knows what needs to be in a hammer! Right on!
Also I love your axes, could you make a bearded one?
👍
I'm going to try to make small copper ball peen hammer here shortly and turn the handles too
You could make 2 axes at the same time with a variation of that bowtie tool..
Get your arm tuned up for swinging the steel again 👍
Ethan Harty is the hammer god!
Got mine ordered. Super stoked to get it.
⭐🙂👍
