i´m sorry, i would go to patreon, but i´m a student, so i won´t be able to donate, cause i don´t have that much money, but i just want to tell you that i love your videos and that you´re an awesome guy :)
I'm impressed how detailed one can work with a power hammer. I can't imagine there's good arguments against it. Also, pretty nice how you've woven the ad into the video.
I only wish to have a fraction of your skill, but since I don’t I’ll just keep watching your videos. Guys like you make automation of parts look silly. Really enjoy your smithing.
Always learning from your videos Timothy. Very nice video this week. Hopefully it is very helpful. Keep up the great craftsmanship and hard work Tim. Can't wait to see ur next videos. Forge On. God Bless.
Hey Tim. Quick tip. If you want to try and find a part-time camera person you can always look for a person going to university for video\media and is just looking for a little extra money. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK! Love seeing you grow bro!
Tim, hold onto the swages etc you used to create that handle, I can see other machinists asking for you to make similar parts for them, especially if they come out at such a professional standard!
What a great video this is. I found it so useful from the powerhamer tooling and the project its self. If you were to make more videos like this I really would not complain! Well done mate top work 💪.
Tim, make sure that you put those ear plugs all the way in your ear. If you only put them halfway in like at around 2:00 then your 34 NRR plugs will only yield around 12 decibels of noise reduction.
If your tongue is wet enough you could lick it without burning your tongue. The effect is called the leidenfrost effect. Your saliva would flash to steam instantly on contact with the steel and that steam would act as an insulator for a few milliseconds, protecting your tongue from damage. Mythbusters did a bit on this where Jamie and Adam dunked their hands in molten lead. (Note, you would need to be a massive hoser to actually attempt this on the word of some random guy on a comment section)
Hey Tim Out of curiosity, why do you forge the handle instead of just machine one? It seems like it would be easier and more precise. Not only this part but sometimes I see you do this for things. Sorry for the dumb question. I've never been in a shop before, so I'm clueless. Btw, a big fan living in Japan.
Tim's predominantly a blacksmith, he may be able to mill and shape parts, but he'll always go the way of the forge first. Besides, if it was to be 100% machined, I reckon this episode would have been 90-98% Martin's work and I get the impression Martin prefers to stay in the background.. And lastly, I happen to LIKE how much of what Tim' creates has that forged look, it has character, where 100% machined parts look more "off the rack"
You wont burn your tongue as long as you don't keep your tongue on the hot metal for more than a second. Yes it will be really warm. But you wont burn your tongue

I’m waiting to see what you do with that aerospace Damascus the niobium and that one steel you mixed together.
Subscribed and 🔔 to keep up with the 100 year old ax sale. I'm American and I'm wondering what app I need for payment. 🤔

Where do I send my quarter lol.
Don’t you know how many machines out there in the cold dark world with out that beautiful handle !!!
I love it!!!
Impressive Martin and Tim!!!
Loved the quick cut edits that lets us see the progress as if the hammer never actually strikes the piece!
It's 2am in the UK and I think a Timothy Dyck video will do just fine
@USA seems you’re gonna have a lot more sleep than me :)
2:00a.m. in the USA and I think a Timothy Duck video will do just fine....
Lol
3 05am here in western Australia
Very nicely done, first mill handle i have seen anyone forge. Well done, I like it.
Sparks flying in the background. Great shots!
2024 thought Martin was back ha ha . Great video about a Handel 👍🇦🇺
I love it! Great job, guys! And way to force me to watch a commercial, Tim, since I don't wan to miss any of the blacksmithing action. Devious!
Looks like it came with the machine. Well done Tim
Hmmm he made it so I couldn’t skip his square space ad! Dame! He got smart to it!
Good call on the forged finish. You made that swedge setup fast and easy looking. Your videos keep looking slicker and pro . ✌
I'm impressed how detailed one can work with a power hammer. I can't imagine there's good arguments against it.

You're a talented and likeable guy. Thanks for making these vids.

The best blacksmith is to spread your knowledge on the Internet👍
OK who thought he was making Dumbledore's wand
Beautiful handle. I bet forged gives a great hand feel.
3 AM now and still enjoying video man 👍🏻
My favorite video so far! Keep it going!
Great to get an update!
I love those time-lapses, keep it up, man!
The (power)hammer just moving so slowly while the steal is taking shape, goodness... so satisfying
Epic how you can seamlessly go from forging a part which allows you to forge the ultimate product to forging the ultimate product.

Fantastic Job Tim and Martin!

Love the forged asthetic on a precision machine 👌
Stay warm, keep up the awesome work. God bless and stay safe.

Yes, but who wants to lick a quarter that just came out of someone's pocket.
And Id wager that most blacksmiths, dont really mind a dirty quarter.
Fantastic job Tim it looks awesome well done.👍🇬🇧🤘🍺
5: 58 harry potter expeliamus :D thanks for the show timothy
That opening!
It really only makes sense that a smith would forge the handle. Nice job.
Lol love your intro joke. XD I was wondering where you were talking that joke till you said something about licking the quarter. Lol. Hilarious.
Timothy Dyck to me you are literally Peter Mckinnon of Blacksmiths.
The licking the quarter truck is so 2019.
Tim make a bricklayer happy and make a titanium trowel.... it would last forever and I’d be the coolest bricky on site 😎
Nice work!
Also glad I didn’t watch the suspiciously click-bait sounding power hammer video. It seems fine, just like I thought it would be.

Love your work brother..
Tim, you're a bloody legend! Glad all is going well :)
Great job.
For me, music to my ear is hearing that power hammer running.
Hello Tim from down under in NZ.
This guy is so underrated

Woow niice joob it looks soo nice you are very talented under the power hammer😍
nice to see , what you can do with some simple Tools and a bunch of highprized special Tools, noone has in his forge.

it's soo cold every day 😂
Ok, why do machinists like polished metal because that handle is BEUTIFUL just the way it is?!?!?!??!? Really cool project 👍👍👍👍👍
خیلی زیبا و حرفه ای درست کردی ❤❤❤
Good job
I love it!👍
Hot off the swage block it looked like Tim could likely be making a nefarious wizard wand
Almost 100k
Subscribed and gave a 👍
can you do a piston and a link to the cranshaft, that will be really cool, old school motor 1 piston
Sweet!💪🔥⚒️
I have never been this early to a video in my life
Do not forget to always activate the Arabic language. Your channel is great and I am an Egyptian following you. I wish you good luck and thank you 💟
I may have missed it but what milling machine is it? It's a pretty amazing chunk of metal.
Awesome !!!!!!!!!!!!!
That is a man that knows his power hammer. I'd bet he could crack a raw egg without breaking it lol. Challenge posted haha
I can see that handle getting a polished finish in a few weeks..... current finish looks nice, but, its gotta be rough on the fingers.
Minewhile Martin is making axes :D
No surface finishing? (burned-in linseed oil looks and feels great!)
Your hands will polish that handle in time
Licked a quarter from a random pocket, accidentally invented Covid 19.
they're vice jaws
Looks awesome guys!
Tim, can you please cut down on the sped-up footage pls, we want to see all of the project
Me in Texas where it's 21 freedomheit and feels like 7 freedomheit yeah I know what Canada feels like
Nice
I bet Adam Savage would love to have one of these! wink wink
Dammit Martin
It's 24 below here (not including wind chill)... how cold is sooo cold for you??
Need a tool? Make a tool. Need a handle? Make a handle. Have other things you would rather be doing? Hand the job off to Martin.
I just subscribed because you asked me to. Lol
you have had that blacksmith hammer for awhile now Tim, how has it handled the wear and tear of blacksmithing ?
"I used the mill to make the mill"
I've been wondering when this would happen...
Mr Tim, if you do a collaboration with Alec Steele, I bet you hit well over 100k subs, you two are awesome At what you do...n
Fraser valley outflow...what did you expect?

@@GaisaSanktejo cheers. I agree with you. I thought maybe it was for strength reasons or something like that.
Licking a quarter is like licking 10000 peoples hands
Can you make a khukuri
15 seconds I'm here
I want to see this guy try to forge tungsten lol... impossible.
i thought that said "Killing Machine Handle"
Cool! You live in 2021 but could have lived in 1521 and still made a living. How many careers can say that now?
You wont burn your tongue as long as you don't keep your tongue on the hot metal for more than a second. Yes it will be really warm. But you wont burn your tongue
Comment for algorithm sake.
I’ve seen the places quarters have been.....I’d rather lick the hot metal.
Any chance you could start removing those loud popping noises between cuts? They kinda hurt when I watch with headphones on.
7 views and one like, what the heck?
I feel like Tim just makes tools for himself and uses the footage for content. Hopefully your sponsors and ad revenue exceed the materials cost.
The only money Im licking is 20 bucks and up.
early gang
Licking quarters! Gross!
