Why are Americans crazy about the weight of a bike? It's not as if you intend on lifting the bike up. The manufacturers know what they are doing anyway.
Don’t think that’s an American thing to not want a heavy high performance vehicle... That’s just being normal. 😂😂😂.
Going to pin this one for entertainment purposes.
LOL I;m loving it @@ridewithKY
Are you a fool, everyone wants the lightest bike possible
@@ridewithKY 😅
What a dumb comment.
One of the best sounding engine and exhaust combos. This exhaust is wild in person.
Thanks bro. 👊🏽
@@ridewithKY that smile on first start up after an exhaust change gets everyone fam. Just pure joy 😂🔥
@ASBP12 😂😂😂 never seen someone so happy to blow their eardrums out 😂
$2200 for a slip is is bananas. But 100% the best looking exhaust on the market
I agree. It’s a little overboard, but it’s the best exhaust for these bikes. All the others going up the side of the bike just look like any other sport bike exhaust.
Panigale’s have a ton of uniquely styled exhausts (although very costly). GP22 is pretty much the only uniquely styled exhaust for these Aprilia’s. Thanks for watching.
@@ridewithKY I'd kill for this GP22 style tip for my Panigale
I’m not sure if they are still making them, but Avionic was making a similar style exhaust for the Panigale V4. It was an underbelly exit that was oblong and had mesh on the end. I believe it was a straight pipe also. It sounded crazy.
that exhaust is insane 😮...over 2k for that shorty lol ..second hand was a great idea
It really is. I understand it’s SC, but the price is overboard at least to me. However, on the other hand, market dictates the price and a lot of people buy these GP22’s. So they are worth it to some people. Thanks for watching man, appreciate that!
You need the brap brap brap tune in that thing😂
Hahaha! That is a cool sound for sure. Thanks for watching!
Sounds so freakin mean man love it! I see all the goodies hiding behind the v2🙃
Thanks homie. 👊🏽. Yes sirrr. Gotta bring the V4 by when you get it back.
@@ridewithKY you already know!
Nice video man.
I got a 23 RSV4 Factory Speed White but I prefer the Akrapovic carbon fiber in my bike.
This one you got is really fantastic but it is a little too loud for me.
I live in CA and I am not sure if the cops won’t pull me over for that one.
Your bike looks great man .
Congrats.
Ride safe.
Akra makes great exhaust systems. Can’t go wrong with Akra.
Totally understand about the volume, this SC project exhaust is certainly not for everyone.
Thanks for the positive remarks and for watching. You ride safe as well. Cheers. 🙏🏽.
Thanks for the shoutout brother ✌️ Love your garage setup 🔥
Thank you for your excellent and clear videos! Appreciate you letting me share your UPMAP video. Cheers bro! 👊🏽
@@ridewithKY 👊🏻😉
dream bike, dream exhaust
Thank you! Appreciate you watching and commenting 👊🏽
Great vid..
Thank you!
woow amazing bike
Really appreciate that, thank you!
past week was my first time hearing aprilia with sc exhaust in person. by far, it's the best sounding bike out there. nothing comes close. i'm now in the works to obtain rsv4 1100 factory and of course, the gp22.
Totally agree. Of course this set up is loud but man in person it sounds so good. Very aggressive with lots of tone. Good luck on your search for an RSV4. 👊🏽
@@ridewithKY the video does NOT do justice. I couldn't hear my 1199s next to the Aprilia..
What exhaust is on your 1199S?
@@ridewithKY Termi full. If it has a dry clutch, it would helped with the sound 😂
Haha, dry clutch sure is a cool sound. You are right, Ducati twin with termi’s going to be pretty quiet compared to these RSV4’s with GP22. Good luck with your search. These Aprilia’s are quite different from Ducati’s but they sure don’t disappoint.
Just found this page and by far the best how to install vid. I have seen to date. I have 2023 Tuono V4F and will be getting the SC project SCR 1 that said when you took the cable and controller off did you get a light on the dash? and if you did , did the flash tune take of it? or did you do some thing else ? thanks for the help...
Glad this video was helpful to you. I try to make it as clear as possible and with all the torque specs so everything can be done at home correctly.
I did not start the bike without first flashing it, so no light for me. I dont know what would have happened if I would have started it, got the light, then flashed it. I would think it would still clear the light, but didn’t want to find out.
Thanks again for watching and for commenting!
Let's gooo
Thanks man!
Beautiful bike and exhaust! Do you have any problems with the bike so far?
To be fair I’ve only had this bike for a few months but so far no issues. There’s a few minor build quality problems I’ve noticed, but nothing severe. Earlier Aprilia’s were TERRIBLE build quality and reliability wise. The newer ones seem to be much better although not perfect.
Thanks so much for the compliment and for watching.
Have same exhaust, lol I'm going to a full Akra or SC, this is absolutely too loud to me after a year of having it. Sounds amazing between 9-11k rpm 3rd gear nothing compares except a V12 or V10.
Totally understandable position. I may feel the same after a year, it’s LOUD.
It’s insane what they charge for that slash cut straight pipe.
I agree. When you see it in person it’s even more underwhelming considering the cost.
Fcking love you papa bear
😂😂😂👊🏽👊🏽👊🏽
My friend has the same exhaust on his 2023 rsv4 factory, it sounds so good. Make sure you aren’t wearing white boots they will get colored and burnt lol
Hahaha, thanks for the tip!
i’m thinking of buying an ape around this summer, do you think getting the upmap ASAP is a good idea? or just ride out the warranty for a bit because of reliability concerns
you can always get the upmap and then if you have an issue revert it to stock map before taking in to the dealer
I’ve only had my Gabro tune installed for a few weeks so I have no long term data. However, initially impressions I really like this tune. Runs much stronger, runs cooler, and the quick shifter is smoother. Stock this bike had a really good quick shifter but it is even better now. Totally worth it.
As @sockie referenced, if you have any issues just flash it back to stock. It’s really easy to flash back to the stock tune with the UPMAP. I have a brentune on my Panigale and I hate how hard it is to go back to the stock tune.
Cheers man, good luck.
@@ridewithKY perfect thank you guys
Did you get this from eBay? I saw this same one @ridewithKY
I sure did. I had been watching it for a while and eventually messaged the seller. Luckily were able to work out a deal. It was still a lot, at least at my income level, but it was tolerable.
Fck yesssss
Sounds so crazy in person bro. 🔥
22k for a piece of pipe 😮
Totally worth it
Definitely went overboard with the pricing on these. But what are you gonna do…
Dont u need to by pass the servo system?
Good call out. Yes you do. In my case I flashed the bike with an UPMAP so I don’t need to worry about the servo. If you don’t flash the bike, then you have to get a servo eliminator plug.
I want to buy an RSV4 so bad but the closest dealer is 450 miles away, with their reliability probably not a good idea lol.
Honestly that’s a real concern. I think some of the reliability issues are a little overblown with the newer ones. However, it’s an understandable position. I’m not sure I would have bought an Aprilia if the closest dealer was 6 hours away.
I have a 2017 RSV4 that hasn’t had any issues at all, but I can understand the concern. When I moved from the Bay Area I thought I was gonna have trouble, but there’s plenty of small shops that specialize in Aprilia, Ducati, etc
really considering this bike but I am scared about the reliability. Hearing that exhaust is almost worth it anyways.
Seems as if the later ones are better but I know what you mean. Aprilia in general has had a lot of reliability issues over the years, no doubt about it. It’s well documented and tough to really deny. Regardless, time will tell but I think it will be rewarding to own this bike.
Thanks for watching!
That’s actually worth like 500 bucks lol wow
😂😂😂. SC needs to make money, but yeah $2200 is excessive. Can’t argue with you there.
Best bike engine noise, I agree, but what's the point of getting such a loud exhaust and then have to use ear plugs? Isn't it better to use a quieter exhaust, let's say a SC1, and ride without plugs?
It must be like a couple pounds difference
Well you should be wearing ear plugs anyways. Wind noise is very damaging to your ears.
Everybody is just different. Some people want the loudest exhaust possible. I’m not one of those people. I care about the aesthetic, tone, and weight. It just so happens the best looking, best sounding, and lightest exhaust for these bikes is very loud. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but all the other exhausts for these bikes just look generic/universal. They all have some universal can with a section of pipe coming off the collector and a big bracket coming off the passenger foot peg. For whatever reason these bikes just don’t have cool looking aftermarket exhaust availability like the Ducati’s do. That’s how I landed on the GP22.
Additionally a couple pounds is a big difference on these bikes. Not a lot of places to get weight from so saving a few pounds with just the exhaust does matter.
@@ridewithKY I see. I'd like to try that on my rs660 just out of curiosity 😬
@floridakoi right on man, nothing wrong with that.
Obnoxiously loud
Haha I see no lies.
