Have you done this procedure? Do you have any advice?

      Advice from harveyf from Planet9:
"Some spots are a little confusing when you have your camera on selfie mode and everything is backwards but I figured it out.
A comment on threadlocker. I would not use it, for two reasons. First, the 120 deg of rotation applies an enormous tensile "preload" on the fastener. This value is carefully selected by the designers at Porsche and is what keeps the fastener from coming loose. Second, I looked at the Locktite Blue specs. It can start to "set" in as little as 10 minutes. This could be devastating to the installation process in that you really want to nail that 19 ft-lb starting value. I checked the Porsche shop manual and they do not specify anything on the threads so I would expect that 19 is based on "dry threads". If the threadlocker interferes with this torque value, then when you apply the 120 deg of rotation, you may over or under tighten. It is going to be a bad day if you break off a bolt in the end of your crankshaft with drying thread locker on it. Good luck getting that bad boy out! So I would say just don't use it.
One other comment. When you get to the part where you are rotating to an angle, you can use any big *** tool that you want to give you an easier time of it. You don't need to use a torque wrench. I would not use an impact wrench though, just a long "breaker bar", etc."

      Advice from jonley987 from Planet9:
"Instead of going through all the trouble of cutting out that piece of paper, you could just use 2 points of the bolt as reference. Each point is 60° apart."

I'm about to tackle this job on my car and wanted to say this video will be extremely helpful. You hit some points that were completely glazed over in the other videos that I watched, so this gives me a lot more confidence!

I try and make it a point to include as much niche information as possible to address every (difficult) situation and appreciate the kind words and you noticing. I’m sure you’ll do great and leave a comment if you’re stuck.
