Grandma was a bush pilot and instructor in Alaska. She got her instructor license in '58. She had an Aeronca, I believe it was a chief. She flew to pick the plane up from the factory and had floats put on it. When she went into labor she had to fly herself to Juneau to have the baby. Awesome lady.

Once upon a time we did the same type of thing but with rc model planes instead. We called it rc bowling. We used 1 gal plastic bottles, brand new yellow ones fresh off the production line supplied by a fellow flyer who made them at work. Filled them with a small amount of water and set them up like bowling pins. Yes sir there was some carnage.but such fun. Think I did a fund raiser for the club after lunch. For $1 you got 5paint balls and the chance to either shoot at a slow flying model airplane, or take a shot at a hovering model helicopter. Most chose the heli as it stayed mostly stable. Got some cool photos of paint balls just missing and flying past. So I know what crazy fun can be had when a group of like minded guys get together for some good clean fun. Thanks so much for sharing this video
I’m a Utah-based pilot (got my commercial two weeks ago) with only 300 hours, and find this really inspiring, lol. I love this man. Appreciate you contributing to the aviation community. Super inspiring brother
The AirCam with the new canopy makes it even more epic than it was before. 3 seats, twin-engine, and it's a STOL monster. That or a Double-Ender would be STUPID amounts of fun off-airport. Nice video Trent!

Hi Trent, I am part of a group of 8 airplanes planning our 4th around US adventure. We start in Jacksonville/St Augustine April 25th. This year’s destination is SFO with stops in KHND on 4/29 and KRTS 5/1. The group includes a WACO YMF-5 biplane, GRAPPO Trail experimental, Pipers, and Cessna’s. It’s an international group including pilots from Italy, Australia, of course USA. Hope we can arrange a meet and greet during our stop in Reno. Regards, John
The videos just keep getting better and better. I feel like I'm flying right there with you. Keep it up. I can't wait to see the next thing that you are up to.
I use to fly a Hummer-Drifter the predecessor of the aircam. Dam fun to fly. I've got 2 old ultralight buddies from the 70's in Michigan that work at Aircam. Expensive plane.
Seriously, you need to add that spin the bottle cap to the RENO AIR RACES competition. Flourescent Orange bottles for the audience to see. Looks like it was a great time to be a Stol Rat. Thanks for sharing with us, Trent.
Yess! Love when a new video drops ha I've been passionate about aviation my whole life, but your videos (and other youtubers) inspired me to actually go start flight training. About 12 hours in!
Another great airplane video Trent, you needed this flying break after all of your work on the house, great bunch of buddies having so much fun, loved the scenery the colourful bush planes and the friendly ranch.
Trent, One of the best videos! Great flying, music is great, the GoPro shot of the bottle cap spin off as the end was epic! I will try out the audio books! I fly planes for fun (Piper Warrior 1978) and just got my Commercial Drone ticket. Blue Sky’s!
Well that was some great flying to get the top of a bottle! Wish we could land out in places like you do but we just don't have the areas here in the UK to do it.
First time I flew in/on a Lockwood Drifter (smaller cousin to the Aircam) I wasn't sure about the no sides kind of setup. But from the second we got off the ground I had smile that set in for the rest of the day. Trent, get yourself and your camera up in that Aircam. It'll be awesome.
I have friends telling me how great Audible is and I only signed up for it after Trent spoke about, also, I am getting razor blades on the mail, dreaming of taking the skies on a Kitfox with a 915...and enjoying the videos. I think that's what they mean by the #Blametrentpalmer. Anyhow, through your videos I was able to reconnect with my childhood passion for flying, meeting great people doing awesome things. All, I did was to click on a video of a house built from a kit. Shots are great, views of nature are breathtaking and please keep doing what you are doing, I guess I don't have any other way to show my appreciation. Thank you!
Last week I was checking planes flying around red bluff on flight app. To my surprise it was you flying from the ranch to river. Then spotted you over red bluff 2 days ago. I regularly hunt the BLM land and have seen you guys flying. Thanks for taking us all along with you.
