I purchased a Chevelle from the guy but he had several old cars that had VIN "issues" on the property which belonged to his father who had just recently passed. Because so many of the vehicles had VIN issues, I walked away from this one. The Chevelle VIN was clean and a real SS.
The father had passed, the son was the one selling stuff and asked if I had any interest in the body. There were a few suspect cars laying around. I think the Dad may have run a chop shop in his younger days.

Didn't find much. Someone else found it first and took what they wanted.
I think the car was stolen, honestly, and then stripped at some point by the guy trying to sell it to me.
