- Britain's newest political party, Change UK, previously known as The Independent Group, is undergoing yet another identity change, with half of its MPs leaving and the appointment of a new leader. (Subscribe: bit.ly/C4_News...)
Anna Soubry will now head up the breakaway pro-Remain party, which was originally formed in February by 11 former Labour and Tory MPs.

I think you underestimate the amount of centrists in the country. Blair and Cameron were/ are still popular figures. They're only unpopular with their party memberships.

@Jericho The only reason I could think of for remaining in the EU was to protect us from US corporatism. Since Donald Trump's speech I have realised how serious a threat that is. I will now be voting second referendum/remain.
Leave will have lost all it's left vote. The other argument your side missed was that, actually, most people don't care either way, many who were happy with how things were didn't bother to vote and, personally, I don't think leave would have won if all the people who were in support of remaining weren't so complacent about the possibility of loosing.
I live in a strong Tory/voted for Brexit constituency and I know many people who didn't bother voting because they thought remain was a sure thing.
PS. The EU is institutionally and structurally undemocratic and must be reformed, preferably scrapped and rebuilt. See Tony Ben on the EU.
@Jericho The US will screw anyone who gets in a trade deal with them. In case the Tories get Brexit through, the other argument you're short of is that trade deals are unnesseccary for tariff free trade. You just need a trade policy. National governments make trade policy and they can be altered, as and when circumstances change.
Trade deals usually include bi-lateral clauses that leave nations open to being sued by global corporations if they make policies that they say affect their profits. Much more serious than chlorinated chicken - which you can choose not to eat.
Trade policies are national government policy and can be ended unilaterally, by either party. See videos on you tube about TTIP
