The Blues Brothers is Thes story is a tale of redemption for paroled convict Jake and his blood brother Elwood, who set out on "a mission from God" to prevent foreclosure of the Roman Catholic orphanage in which they were raised. To do so, they must reunite their R&B band and organize a performance to earn the $5,000 needed to pay the orphanage's property tax bill. Along the way, they are targeted by a homicidal "mystery woman", Neo-Nazis, and a country and western band-all while being relentlessly pursued by the police.

The Blues Brothers is a musical comedy film, which was released in 1980. Actually this film is dedicated to: John Belushi, but also to Cab Calloway and John Candy. May God bless them.

Today, everybody says "what a cast" ! But in 1978/1979 before the movie, when Belushi and Aykroyd created the Blues Brothers for the first time in the SNL, all these artists was forgotten in their own country !! But a simple sketch became one of the greatest musical movie of all time with an incredible band melting all us influences : Two MG's and a Bar-Kay from the Stax for the rythm section, referencial chicago electric guitarist bluesman in solo guitar, great New York's Horn sound. After that, all the artist's forgotten at those times started a new part of their careers because of the movie. Thank you the Canadian Dan Aykroyd to "make American's original rythm and blues great again" ! For the anecdote, his sun glasses in the movie are his own glasses (apparently always the same style in 2023) with tinted lenses.
