    These were the funniest scenes in the movie to me when I first saw it.
    The way she would attack them and then they would just clime out of the rubble and go about their business as if nothing had happened had me rolling.
    The scene where he begs for his life and then drops her in the mud just killed.
    You can't do that to Princess Leia!

    Such clever comedy. The way they weaved her character in and out, sorta indicating she's a major part of the plot, but all it turns out to be is an ex-girlfriend he screwed over and is out for revenge. 😂😂

      mojoblues66 and John Landis, who made it workable. Basically anytime Aykroyd turned in a script that was used, it was heavily edited to the point that it was almost unrecognizable. Same thing happened with Ghostbusters. Landis edited that one as well.

    Carrie Fisher's drug problem was so bad around this time that even John Belushi told her she had a problem. She did coke on the Hoth set in Empire. She was open about all of this, of course, because she was open about all of it. And that was important.

    This movie was so old that Carrie's M-16 doesn't even have a forward assist button behind the ejection port! I remember bawling with laughter when their phone booth was torched and it took off like a rocket. RIP Carrie and John, you were hilarious and left me with many great memories.

    If I could I would have casted her in more roles where she would be the pissed off woman.

    Had no idea both Carrie Fisher and Dan Ackroyd were dating in real-life at this period. 1980 certainly was a good year for Fisher having both 'The Blue Brothers' and 'The Empire Strikes Back' taking both 1st and 2nd positions at the American box-office!
    However came up with the name *"Curl Up & Dye"* for a beauty salon is a marketing GENIUS!

    Love this movie and her scenes were so funny. Some of my favorite movie scenes. When she's doing her nails and reading that book 🤣🤣. I also love how a propane tank was next to the telephone booth when she attacked with the flame thrower.

    At 1:20 and 1:34 where she's sitting in the red Pontiac Grand Prix (epic auto in its own right) Carrie Fisher looks completely adorable. Maybe it's because I'm not used to seeing her when she was younger with her hair down.
