To get staples further into the center of a piece of paper, open the stapler. Most staplers can be opened by pulling the part with the staples in it, and the part you push on, separate from the base of the stapler. Just need to make sure you have something hard underneath your paper. And make sure it’s something that you don’t mind having scratches in. Not sure if that all makes sense. Hope so. Thanks for your video! I always love your work, and listening to your voice. 😆
That scrunched up fabric piece is awesome, reminds me of a woman in a fancy dress.
Add beads to the fiber! Love this fiber method.
Thank you so much :)
Missing the ASMR starts to the videos...
Still lovely to watch and very inspiring! Glad this one is about staples, as I don't like to use them much as I think they don't look great in crafting. Hoping this changes my mind!
Update: I did this technique when I was helping some kids with crafting. The glue we had wasn't great, so I did this trick, and it was brilliant! The kids thought it was genious!
The simple staple...I would never have imagined all its beautiful possibilities. Thank you!
Petition for you to write another book about making embelishments and ephemera!
Agree 🎉❤
Agree!
Easy way to get colored staples-use a marker to color them!
Yes, as I demonstrated in the video 😄
Fabulously creative!
I'm usually afraid, I am petrified, but with your help, Natasha, with these great "doable" ideas you generously give us, I will survive . 😄

Hahah love it! Thank you!
I’m afraid too. I don’t know why, but I’m always lost.
Using all those bits and pieces of fabric with the decorating help of a stapler is such a fantastic idea! Whenever I think I have seen all your ideas, you have a new video ready with a brilliant idea to use everyday things to make beautyful decorations . Yes, I agree with the idea of a new book about ephemera and decorations ! That would be lovely and welcome...thank you for showing, dear Natasa. Greetings from the other side of the world, Jutta
No, I didn't know I could color my staples. This idea never occured to me - LOVE the variety and different ideas - I have a LOT of staples... 🥰
Who knew you could color staples..our genius Natasa...that's who!!
You blew me away with all your ideas! How simple and how beautiful! Thank you again for sharing with us. We are blessed with you!
Thank you so much :)
OMG! I asked my mirror "Why didn't you think of this!" My answer is because I have the queen of creativity and teaching in Natasha! Wonderful!❤
Absolutely awesome. I would take the piece and lay in on whatever I use to poke holes through my work. Open the stapler flat. Staple wherever you are going to place your beaded staple on the piece. Pull the staple, add the beads, place it back through the holes you "punched" in the piece. I can't wait to try it! Thank you so much Natasha!
So inspired to get my staplers out now. Love the fabric one! I’m friends with a local artist who does staple art on a large scale. He is working on a buffalo piece right now. When he gets done applies vinegar to rust the staples. The first time I saw his art I didn’t even realize it was composed of staples. Also thanks for the tip on coloring staples. I never thought of doing that! ❤❤❤
As I don't do the sewing on edges, I appreciate the idea of using the staples in so many ways!!!!
My favorite creator never fails to amaze me and want me want to try everything 😂
yaaay thank you!!!
Love the idea of stringing beads on a staple!
thank you Natasha for another great idea and nudge in the creative direction. oh and nailpolish works too to colour the staples 😊
So much fun! I used a left over discarded table cloth for my “fabric”. Turned out so cute!
I am always so excited when I see you have posted a new video! You have the absolute best and creative ideas. Always something unique and you explain how to do everything in a way that isn't overwhelming or intimidating! Absolute creative genius!! Ty we ❤u
Thank you so much!!
Thank you Natasha, for all your creative ideas! You show things that are so different from other you tubers. They are attainable for new junk journals like me! You inspire me everytime! Thank you for being you! ❤
Love the one with dots!! I colour my staples in the stapler with Sharpie pens!
Thank you so much :)
Love the tectures on crumpled paper. I have done beading on fine wire allowing the beads to move. Brought the wire from the back.
I love this and as you were showing everything, I had an idea to make a barbwire look for a country look or farm look. Like a boarder around a cover or page, crisscrossing the staples on a stitch or layered papers or drawing the line and having the crisscross staples along it 😁
You are so amazing. One of my top 10 favorite crafting inspirations. I wish I could make the "thumbs-up" sign a bazillion times!
You are unbelievable!! This is an idea I didn't think I needed! 😂❤🥰
Love the little note pads. Could put them on a hook on the fridge for grocery lists, reminders…..
I have so much fancy fabric. Ty for the permission to staple them to paper
I love how you just 'go for it'. Artistic freedom. No right or wrong. No cookie cutter crafting necessary. TFS what's going on in your brain!😅
I always tried to hide my staples but love this idea of using staples as art and embellishments. Your are a genius! ❤❤❤
Thank you so much :)
Love all the ideas, simple and very creative ❤️ thank you Natasha
Thank you so much :)
Never thought of using a sharpie for the staples! Great idea! Thank you!
I love this. I am obsessed with stapling, using paper clips, etc. I am a retired teacher and I used those items, of course. But I used colorful clips, gel pens, and sticky notes.
This brings back memories of how I stapled girl scout badges to the vest because I was a totally swamped stressed out mom!! LOL but you know I got those staples real close to the stitching and no one knew the better. I'm bad mommy, huh?
totally loved your ideas though. you're so creative.
This is reminiscent of the SHIBORI process, by which dyed silk is stitched down in random places with thread, often attaching beads to adorn the design. It's the same concept, but you have made a fantastic paper-fabric variation. Check it out though, I think you will be inspired! Thanks for sharing this idea ❤ 🇬🇧
Ohhh I'll have to look that up! it sounds interesting!
You helped me get back into crafting again. You opened my mind to new ideas. I tried 2 techniques you shared sewing paper and coffee paper. I will try this stable also. Bless you and thank you.
Fantastic ideas! And that was a tiny crochet hook you used to get the ribbon/string through the tops of the folded notepads.
I started to write down my favorites from this video as I went through it and ended up listing the whole thing. All ideas are favorites… That kind of anomaly only happens on this channel… Would you be able to come up with design ideas using staples and bits of that ubiquitous foil packaging (pets dry food, coffee beans etc.) that is fun but impossible to glue? If you’d be born in France you could become a famous designer/ couturier of wrap dresses on dressmaker's mannequin… Or something like that 😊. As usually this video widened the horizon tremendously. I’ll definitely explore Pinterest and other corners of internet with search term "staple art".
You want to use you can use pinking shears to cut the fabric or fabric fray preventer. Just a suggestion. To consider.
Thank you, Natasa, for such an accessible idea! You shared in another video that you also color your staples; I think that mixed with any one of your ideas in this video could be exciting to try too!
Great! It's Sunday! Let's go treasure hunting ❤
Paused quick at idea #2… if you flip the staple row over to separate them, the part that bent will be supported by the mat… they’ll still pop apart, but without bending! Amazing idea though… all of them! Can’t wait to try this 🤩
To get the staples apart you could leave them in the stapler and squeeze the stapler and a single full staple should come out. Another way to color staples is putting them in a ziplock bag and placing drops of alcohol ink in the bags closing it and shake it around until you get the color you want. It works very well with paper clips. Thank you for these ideas on staples.❤
Absolutely wonderful!!! I see a BUNCH of these in my very near future.....
As usual, your creativity is such a gift to all that watch. I’m most impressed with your work. I suspect you will come out with another book eventually. The first one is fabulous. Everyone who is interested in your work should have a copy. Please remind your viewers that the book is in the stores. It is quite worth the price. Again fabulous work! Carol from California
Love this idea. Thank you for sharing 🤍
Another really clever idea from your amazingly creative mind. Thank you, Natasha for your fun tutorials.

Les couleurs de vos papiers teintés sont absolument magnifiques. Merci pour toutes ces idées créatives ❤❤
J'aime beaucoup Natasa! 🎉❤😊
Thank you ❤️
Love the blue one at the start that you tied with the red checkerd-y fabric. What a look! And now I'm further through, Idea #7 is my favourite 🥰
Thank you ❤️
You could sew around it❤❤❤ the card with the stamps on it is my favorite I love everything about it!!
Great tutorial, staples, fibers, monogamy, simply awesome ❤😊
Thank you so much :)
I shouldn't be surprised by now, but I still keep getting surprised by your creativity. Absolutely love this style! Goes perfectly with your recent grungy journal video. Thank you for sharing!
Thank you so much!
You Never Disappoint with Your Brilliant ideas!
Thank you! 😊
Love ALL these ideas. But most of all I loved the glimpse of Rupert Bear. 💕💕
Great idea. Love it
I love these ideas - very creative. I know from doing some of these things now, that you can start off in one direction and end up not where you expected at all and still love it. Thank you so much for introducing me to this world of creating. I’m so addicted now! I just bought your book and I love having the basics written down as a reference.
Thank you ❤️
It's such a great resource to have.
I ordered one as soon as it was available! I LOVE it 😍
Another fantastic idea, love it❤❤
What a great idea. The doodling really got me🥰

Thank you so much :)
Great ideas. Thanks
Natasa this was wonderful to watch ❤ It would be fun for you to create a journal like you did with Page Edges and do Staples, Brads and Eyelets - 😊 - journals like these are wonderful to have on our shelf for inspiration xx be well and hugs to Banjo
I never thought about coloring my staples. You are so clever and your creative is astounding and refreshing!
Thank you so much!
Love this ideas. You're so creative. BTW. The needle with the little hook is used for crocheting
Yes that's right, and I still can't remember what its called haha!
@@TreasureBooksit’s called a crochet hook 🧶 🪝 😆
That is so beautiful looking ! The staples add to the art and not the shoe art, I think.
To Get a single staple separated, open up the stapler to lie flat then hold it in the air and push down. without the bottom half to close it the staple won’t fold
Great tip!
Fantastic!🎉😮
How there's another "DUH" moment! 🙄 I mean, haven't we all done that with a stapler? 😂
Great tip, thank you!!!!
Tell your parents thank you for all thebeautiful sewing
They do for true beautiful sewing the
Master pieces they make .
Thank you ❤️
You inspire us to think outside the box so there's something for everyone. If you don't like to sew and you ran out of glue, then stapeling might be an option for you.
What fun ideas! I have to try them all. Kept thinkin’ I could never live without you by my side -but glue and sewing machine move over for staples. Hugs 🤗❤️💃🏻
Amazing! Would have never thought to use staples.
Very interesting idea, Natasha! It’s different and ideal for junk journals. I bought a long reach stapler years ago. I finally have a use for it. Thank you.
Wonderful! Have fun!!
Mind blown!
You had me singing at 2:48... at first I was afraid I was petrified🎵🎶... That card is giving me Rosie the Riveter Vibes! Meet Natasha the new industrious woman!Master stapler! Loved this video... I’m going to embrace the stapler even more!

I love playing with staples in my journals, and I have several colors. Your idea of fabric is fantastic! The faces were also clever and fun. Thanks!
Thank you so much!
21:04 what's not to love. You can hang it at the Tate Gallery ❤
Wow - great ideas! Love the doodling one, the fibre one and paper-piecing best! Does your brain ever stop inventing?!! Oooh - and the beaded staples - brilliant!
Another winner Natasha! Always look forward to seeing what you come up with!!! 💞

Wonderful!
incredible talent to use all those things that a priori have no importance or special interest, thank you very much Nathasa for your generosity sharing your ideas
Thank you!!
The one you did looks like a bow. That would awesome gift bows!!!! To cut around the fabric.
Hi Natasha.. love your ideas.
I never thought to use staples as decoration. I learn something new from you in every video! Thank you!!!
Thank you ❤️

Great ideas, love the doodling staples, but there’s several great ideas. Look forward to your video on Coptic binding. Many thanks again Natasa x😊
Thank you!!
I love the fiber art and the page with the stamps and that face is such a cute idea. As usual, you’ve inspired us with a great idea. Love and hugs.
Thank you so much!
Not too crazy about this fabric but would love to staple crumbled tea dyed paper together. But very grungy. I love everything you do Natasha love the cone ting papers.
My opinion of the "image with the Australian stamps". I think the upper right hand corner with the individual staples adds a finishing touch. It balances the front lovely. Keep up the marvelous work. You make my Sunday mornings.
Thank you so much :)
I like how you show all ideas in the beginning and also in the end ❤
Thank you! 😊
Oh Natasa I do so love watching your videos and have watched many time and again. So many ideas!
