Mesmeric, as another shade is applied how the first colour changes, and then further contrast as bolder and deeper colour complete the illusion of a scaled down life... Brilliant as ever Ian ATVB. Scott Somerset
Great job on figure I sculpted btw. :)
Cool, thanks and a great sculpt too, it was a joy to paint👍
Hi Ian fantastic figure bike painting you are brilliant on what you do mate. Cheers Gary 🇬🇧
Great skills! This is gonna be a good addition for the Tiger diorama 👏
awesome detailing
Impressive attention to detail.
Excellent tutorial, I do need to get some more practise in and you certainly inspire that. Cheers Bob 👍
Another quality build Ian, great video👌 One of the best figure painters imho….& the motorcycles not too shabby either😁👍
The figure and motorcycle both look amazing!
Another fantastic vid! Superb Ian.
Wohoo... I will spare this, for the evening... 👌😀
Love watching you paint 🥰
Awesome detailing I’m awestruck & look forward to trying this soon, I’m in the midst of just moving in & my stash is all boxed up in the garage
Awesome work, Ian!!! Can’t wait for the diorama, I know it’s going to be amazing 👍👍😁

🤪
Thank you for this great upload. So interesting
Good job
Top !!!!!!!!
Great painting job CW!! I haven't used a paint collection in a couple years and would like to try some of the AK sets your using here.Ive got some figures coming up in the next few weeks!!! Take Care, Bill
Thanks.....The AK 3rd Gen is a nice paint system although its not as straight forward as Vallejo Model Color for hairy stick or say Tamiya for airbrush, it just needs a bit of TLC and a few practice runs......I have to say though that the colour range is fantastic and the paint sets are brilliant as you get all you need for shadows through to highlights and mixing each gives you all the mid-tones you need👍
@@CWModelling Thats so cool, Thanks CW!!!
Wow!!!
Very nice work. What kind of camera and lights do you have?
Thanks.......if you look through the comments of this video then I've answered others who have asked👍...... ua-cam.com/video/DEX4ojSA0hY/v-deo.html
Красивая работа!👍
Ian, great video, you really have "figured" out painting these miniatures. Question, have you ever considered adding a tag to the video that shows what paint you are using each time you change? I know what that means in editing, but still, would be very valuable as we follow along. Again, great job! M
Thanks.....there's usually a colour call out if you watch previous videos but as this was done with paint sets then the colours are in the paint set so i didn't think it necessary as I mentioned the sets i used in the video description (which no one reads!!!)....a simple google search will give you the colours👍

Amazing
Outstanding as always mate 👍 , quick question for you, when you applied the pin wash to the bike did you varnish it first and if so, which do you recommend, matt, satin or gloss.
The reason I ask is that when I use a matt varnish before pin wash I've having problems with the wash kind of bleeding into the paint and staining the colours making it impossible to clean off the excess.
I'm using vallejo matt varnish and either an AK or Tamiya wash.
Any help is greatly appreciated
Can't wait for your next video , take care and stay safe
Thanks.........I don't use a varnish on figures or small models like this bike as its not worth the hassle to me, so if it stains then I tidy up using paint. On larger vehicles I use a satin varnish which is a 50/50 mix of Winsor & Newton Galleria Gloss and Matt varnish👍.......Matt varnish will allow the wash to 'bite' in to it so it will be hard to remove
@@CWModelling cheers mate, that's a great help, thank you for taking the time to reply
😍😍wooooooooow!
Really cool stuff mate was wondering wich primer you used on the bike and soldier
Thanks.....just a cheap car primer in a rattle can👍
I really like the figure. But can you please say or show on the screen what paint you are using. I want to learn about face painting but I dont know what paint bottle you are using.
Refer to the description below the video, the paint sets featured have all the paints you need and I go from dark to light.........My videos aren't meant to be tutorials on how to paint figures as there are better figure painters than I am who do just that.........search youtube for Ian Candler as he has some great tutorials👍
@@CWModelling thank you for anwsering love your videos
@@potok1093 Thanks for watching 👍
Great job what Glue do you use o n this Figures
Thanks.....the figure was assembled using CA glue and it was stuck to the motorcycle with PVA glue👍
🤝👍
Simply amazing no other words ! What company makes the small map you used ? cheers from Canada
Thanks.....the map came with the figure set👍
Hi one européen company do that : reality in scale you can find easily
very nice result. How long did you paint on the figure and how long on the motorcycle?
Thanks.......sorry, no idea but I guess it was 7-10 hours in total👍
@@CWModelling oh, so fast?😳😳
