- A short video showing how I painted a 1/35 French Cavalry Rider from Dynamo Models. Dynamo Models were unknown to me until recently, when I was asked by them if I'd like to take a look a some of their figures for review. Not being a channel that does review videos I asked that if they would send me a few samples, I would consider using them in a diorama if I thought they were decent enough. So a few weeks later a fairly large package arrived and it seems that Dynamo sent me about 90% of their current figure range which was very kind of them. I was very impressed with the quality of the figures and as such I decided to feature their 1940 French Tankers, Infantry and Calvary figures in my next diorama project.........keep an eye out for that in a few weeks......Anyway, many thanks to Sylvain at Dynamo Models for sending me his figures for free with no obligation to use them in a video other than if I wished to......you can check out Dynamo Models here - www.dynamo-mod...

That was truly excellent sir, well done, one question if I may, would it not have been better to paint the figure before mounting it on the horse? just to stop any accidental colour transfer.

In video 20:34, when you start to paint the highlight areas, do you wait the previous paint to dry?
Or do you use dry brush to blend the paint? Thanks
Thanks.........in this case I painted the extreme highlights once the previous layer was dry, I find dry brushing can be a bit harsh for figures👍
