ASM 253 is a great smaller key because to me it marks “the start” of the black suit ruin. 252 is a big key, but personally I see 253 as the real start for collectors as that’s where the story picks up after the major first appearance
Guardians of the galaxy is the most underrated book of the list by far, the movies were a big hit, the characters are much loved and the third flick coming soon, yet the love for this book and the low value is still unbelievable. Thanks mate!!!
Underrated does not = undervalued especially when they can't possibly be "underrated" with so much supposed box office "success" and no doubt major merchandising "success" including COMIC BOOKS THAT ARE OUT THERE BY THE BOATLOAD DUE TO THE "SUCCESS" OF THAT "TEAM" WHICH LESS THE MOVIE AND MERCHANDISE "SUCCESS" WOULDN'T BE WORTH SHIT IN "BOOK FORM". NOBODY WANTS "ENSEMBLE CAST" COMIC BOOKS AS "COLLECTIBLES" AND AN "INVESTMENT" BECAUSE THERE IS NEVER A CASE WHERE ALL THE MEMBERS OF THE "ENSEMBLE" IS EQUALLY "SOUGHT AFTER" AND "BUYERS" USE THE FACT THAT THE "LOSERS" ARE INCLUDED TO "DEVALUE" ANY MERCHANDISE THAT FEATURES ALL OF THEM. MEANING COMIC BOOKS. "GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY" IS ALSO A GENERIC, CATCH-ALL TEAM "NAME" AND ANY OF THE "ENSEMBLE" CAN AND WILL GO ON TO A "SOLO CAREER" OR BE "KILLED OFF" WHENEVER IT BECOMES MORE PROFITABLE FOR THE PUBLISHER TO DO SO. OR NEW "MEMBERS" CAN BE ADDED. EITHER WAY THOSE MOVES ARE SEEN - IF ONLY SUBCONSCIOUSLY - AS "IMPROVEMENTS" TO THE TEAM AND THE NEW TEAM IS SEEN AS SUPERIOR BY COMPARISON AND THE "VALUE" OF THE ORIGINAL BOOKS DROPS LIKE A ROCK. ENSEMBLES ARE ALSO ALWAYS CREATED FROM A LIST OF FAILED "SOLO" CHARACTERS THAT DIDN'T SELL WELL ENOUGH ON THEIR OWN TO "MAKE MONEY" BECAUSE THEY...SUCK. BUT BILLS MUST STILL BE PAID AND "INVESTMENTS" IN BUYING THE RIGHTS TO A CHARACTER THAT SHOWED MORE "PROMISE" THAN WAS DELIVERED IS DONE BEFORE THE FACT AND NOT AFTER AND ONCE "UNDER CONTRACT" THE PUBLISHER IS GOING TO PUSH THAT CHARACTER ALREADY "BOUGHT AND PAID FOR" ANY WAY THEY CAN FOR ALL THEY CAN TO MAKE AS MUCH "RETURN" AS POSSIBLE EVEN IF THEY ULTIMATELY LOSE MONEY. THAT COMIC BOOK FANS JUDGE THE "SUCCESS" AND "VALUE" OF BOOKS AND MERCHANDISE OF "MODERN" SO-CALLED "SUPERHEROES" NOBODY WANTED TO "INVEST" IN SEEING AND BUYING "SOLO" BASED UPON HOW MANY MOVIES ARE MADE FEATURING THE "FRANCHISE" AND WITHOUT KNOWING THAT "MULTI-MOVIE DEALS" ARE MORE COMMON IN THE "COMIC INDUSTRY" THAN MULTI-ALBUM DEALS ARE IN THE RECORDING INDUSTRY AND THE MOVIES CAN "BOMB" YET THE FRANCHISE STILL "MAKE MONEY" AND NO MATTER HOW BAD THEY "BOMB" A 3-MOVIE DEAL WILL STILL PRODUCE 3 MOVIES AND PROBABLY AT LEAST 2 OF THE 3 ARE "IN THE CAN" BEFORE THE FIRST ONE IS RELEASED AS "MARKET RESEARCH" JUST GOES TO SHOW HOW MUCH BETTER OFF THEY ARE EXISTING AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE IN THE FANTASY WORLD OF COMIC BOOK "CONSUMERS" AND NOT IN THE REAL "BUSINESS WORLD" WHERE THEIR "HOBBY" IS ACTUALLY PRODUCED. "CLASSIC" SUPERHEROES THAT HAVE BOOKS THAT ARE LEGITIMATE "INVESTMENTS" WERE CREATED DECADES BEFORE ANYBODY "INVESTED" IN THEM AS MOVIE "FRANCHISES" AND ONLY THE FACT THAT ANY B-LIST ACTOR CAN BE PAID "SCALE" TO BE A "SUPERHERO" AND THE "RIGHTS" WERE DIRT CHEAP IF THEY EXISTED AT ALL AND WEREN'T IN THE PUBLIC DOMAIN EVER GOT "HOLLYWOOD" TO MAKE SUPERHERO MOVIES. AND THE "FRANCHISE" IS NEVER A "BLOCKBUSTER SUCCESS" START TO FINISH. IT DOESN'T HAVE TO BE TO "MAKE MONEY". JUST LIKE NO COMIC BOOK EVER HAS TO BECOME "COLLECTIBLE" TO DO SO.
Most villains just generally seem to stay low for Marvel. And I've personally never liked the headshot cover appearance. I want the cover that really showed the character
It think the main reason MSH #18 isn't as popular (more expensive) is because that team was from Earth 691 and in the future. The only MCU characters Disney used from this story line is Yondu. GOTG was a D level Marvel team in my mind until the movies made the 'name' popular. I really like the movies and if I was someone looking to get more stories about them, I am going to look to the 2008 Volume 2 series and avoid anything earlier.
Apparently "US AGENT #2 DAVE RAPOZA 1:25 VARIANT JOHN WALKER" which I just picked up purely by accident for a few dollars, is rare (?). I was looking at sold on eBay and only came across 1 sold and there are 2 up for sale asking high prices. Hearing anything about this Marvel comic? Thanks
Web of spiderman 97 I own that just recently own that I am trying to buy Every issue of web of spiderman I am up to 106 in consecutive order it's hard work collecting seriously!
I always look for that Beetle at a decent price. Seems to me to be a shoe in villain for Armor Wars right after Crimson Dynamo and Titaniam Man for notable armored villains that have not yet appeared.
The first appearance of Crossbones may be undervalued because of how well it sold? People who want already have it. Crossbones ran a gang with Diamondback's brother.
At one time, in the early 90s believe it or not, Amazing Spider-Man and 253 and the rest of the Gang Wars Era books were kind of expensive for th time. Then just plateau
I always remembered Richard Fisk from the 90's Spider-man animated series episdoes Framed and The Man Without Fear. Those are two of my favorite episodes of Spider-man The Animated Series.
That Web of Spider-Man is for sure undervalued, but I don't know if it's that much of a key at all honestly. I've seen it in so many dollar bins I had to stop buying. It's less desirable than an average Batman rebirth issue. Until a Sony movie is actually being filmed, I wouldn't put much stock in the spinoff showcase characters they start rumors about for years.
Wassssuuuuup man this is the first day I’ve seen your channel and I’m already hooked!(I already watched a bunch of videos) and I’ve been learning a lot because of you, so keep on hunting!
Like others, I’m most surprised at ASM 315. Not surprised with the Clone Saga book as those appear to be all over the place in pricing. Great video. Keep them coming!
I think the reason Spectacular Spider-man #226 is undervalued is because, that issue and the entire clone saga is such a despised storyline, that nobody cares. That issue alone is probably one of the worst from the story, because the art is inexcusably bad, Peter is absolutley unlikable in it, then again he's unlikable through out the entire story, plus hitting MJ probably turns people off same with yours truly. If I was a comic issue collector I still wouldn't buy it because or just anything from the clone saga, because it's just such an insulting era of the character.
Hi James, another great video. Perhaps another reason why Spectacular Spider-Man 226 doesn't attract more controversy (and a higher price) is that Peter is immediately horrified by his action while Hank Pym is not and, worse, he has a history of violence against Jan. Glad to see a couple of older Silver Age books in there too.
I think the 1st Venom cover appearance can be argued. Yes, that technically is his first appearance but it's like a preview panel rather than the actual cover. It's kinda like the first appearances of Cable or Wolverine.
"Undervalued" because it's "too cheap" as the "first cover appearance" of a failed character that never got his own books and that cover doesn't feature the book's title character at all? That's funny shit. About as funny as a Spiderman book without Spiderman on the cover and was nothing but a Venom promo being a "key". You must be sitting on a pile of those "keys" you'd sell for that "undervalued" $15 a pop in a heartbeat but don't have a chance in hell of doing so until you pump up the "demand" with all that bullshit about the book being a "key" and Venom's "appearance" being the reason it is.
Completely agree on new avengers 8. In fact, 8-11 of that run all sell for like $5, and each of them feature characters or events but I think could have those books selling for 10 to 15 apiece
The only reasons I would think that the first appearance of Crossbones is so cheap is 1) his character was overshadowed in the MCU by other characters like Captain American and Winter Soldier. 2) I do not think that they actually ever called him "Crossbones" in the MCU, and people not familiar with his character might not have known he was a major villain from the comics. 3) Finally, I think a lot of people just don't find him interesting when compared to the other big Marvel villains. Either way, I think that the MCU did not do his character justice, and that is why his keys are so cheap.
Spidey got a free pass for backhanding Mary Jane, but Hank Pym has never been able to live down the time he hit the Wasp (while he was having a mental breakdown, by the way).
Love how frequent you load videos, I can never be bored of the comic hunting
Nightwatch just seems like a Spawn rip-off to me.
Thank you for your insight.
Just found you today. Like your garage sale videos and finds.
Great content OG, really look forward to your videos! 🦾
Was it you that got, like, 50 copies of the 1st Midnight Sons in a collection?
Shhhhhhh.....(whispers) most those are on my search list...! Lol
Technically we already got she venom in the 2nd venom novie
Asm-253 is severely undervalued. Due for big price spikes in the future.
Love the amount of uploads
Hulk 16 from the Loeb Run - First Cover of Red She-Hulk
Will you be doing 10 underrated image comics books next?
I'd watch that video. Alan Moore on Supreme is CRIMINALLY underrated.
ASM 253 is a great smaller key because to me it marks “the start” of the black suit ruin. 252 is a big key, but personally I see 253 as the real start for collectors as that’s where the story picks up after the major first appearance
That's a good way of looking at it!
Venom and She-Venom underpriced? Who would have thought?
Great video, not a big marvel fan but I didn’t know that about 225 Spider-Man
I just bought too copies of 1st nightwatch
Hope to see the Midnight Sons get the treatment they deserved
Oh im sure they will

Ive got that #97 Spiderman! That’s a cool one. Really enjoying your channel!
Most villains just generally seem to stay low for Marvel. And I've personally never liked the headshot cover appearance. I want the cover that really showed the character
New Avengers #8 has always amazed me as well, very cheap for a awesome group of characters.
Great video as always!
Peter punching a redhead makes it a key? 1st appearances, cameos, covers I respect as keys but meetings and fights are a big no from me.
Yeah, when you get into story stuff it makes tens of thousands of comics candidates for this stretch, suspect definition of a "key."
Nightwatch my hommie!
I commented, did I win?
I can’t believe how cheap the first guardians book is 😱
Great video

Love these videos dude !! Your awesome keep up the great content 👍
Your videos are always entertaining and insightful. I hope you keep making them.
I love it when you make videos like this, I’m always learning so much from your channel. Thank you.
Nice
Apparently "US AGENT #2 DAVE RAPOZA 1:25 VARIANT JOHN WALKER" which I just picked up purely by accident for a few dollars, is rare (?). I was looking at sold on eBay and only came across 1 sold and there are 2 up for sale asking high prices. Hearing anything about this Marvel comic? Thanks
Really digging this series, thanks.
Web of spiderman 97 I own that just recently own that I am trying to buy
Every issue of web of spiderman I am up to 106 in consecutive order it's hard work collecting seriously!
Would love a video on under-valued X-Men books.
I always look for that Beetle at a decent price. Seems to me to be a shoe in villain for Armor Wars right after Crimson Dynamo and Titaniam Man for notable armored villains that have not yet appeared.
So underpriced
Hmm... Nightwatch looks a lot like Spawn. Coincidence or plagiarism?
I’ve always been shocked about ASM #315, I can’t stop buying them
Good stuff. I agree with you I wouldn't have expected any Spiderman to make the list.
Actually Ghost Rider 25 has the first preview of Midnight Sons and is totally ignored.
Very informative video Not surprised there are a lot of undervalued Spider-Man keys ASM 315 is very reasonable compared to 316.
Since Marvel announced a Thunderbolts movie, you think we’re gonna see a Midnight Sons project in the near future?
Todd Mcfarlane covers will always be my fav! Fingers crossed would love to add those superboys to my collection
Hey first time watching, loved it, liked, subbed and looking forward to more👍
Don't look now, but Mr. Freeze dropped a little somethin-somethin on the front of your drawer... :)
I always remembered Richard Fisk from the 90's Spider-man animated series episdoes Framed and The Man Without Fear. Those are two of my favorite episodes of Spider-man The Animated Series.
I think it’s worth noting that Peter didn’t just hit MJ, he hit a pregnant MJ!
That Web of Spider-Man is for sure undervalued, but I don't know if it's that much of a key at all honestly. I've seen it in so many dollar bins I had to stop buying. ive been enjoying your content!! and your Phillies ball cap!!
Most Spider-Man not ASM is undervalued, especially the original Spectacular title.
Wassssuuuuup man this is the first day I’ve seen your channel and I’m already hooked!(I already watched a bunch of videos) and I’ve been learning a lot because of you, so keep on hunting!
Enjoyable and informative video..Keep up the good work :)
Like others, I’m most surprised at ASM 315. Not surprised with the Clone Saga book as those appear to be all over the place in pricing.
Great video. Keep them coming!
I honestly don't think Night watch will be in any movies or be used again since he was an obvious prespawn prototype by mcFarlane
Perhaps more early 90s comics, although mass printed, may start rising in value.
Old Guardians were never popular, though in the 90's Marvel did a good job of keeping the title alive.
I think the reason Spectacular Spider-man #226 is undervalued is because, that issue and the entire clone saga is such a despised storyline, that nobody cares. Yeah... I def think it's two entirely different situations.
I think the 1st Venom cover appearance can be argued. Yes, that technically is his first appearance but it's like a preview panel rather than the actual cover. It's kinda like the first appearances of Cable or Wolverine.
How about Marvel Spotlight 28 (Moon Knight first Solo), Silver Surfer #4 or Avengers 57 all CRASHING right now? So many deals right now!
great video man enjoy watching you just found you few weeks back
Like 990 - Great list of Marvel comics. Some I did not know about, but will be on the lookout for in the future.
superboy!!!!! i am a superboy! but dont have a superboy comics not one
The market has deemed ASM #316 the first full cover appearance of Venom… it is the better cover between it and #315.
Hey man, watching from the UK, like to say you fully inspired me to start my collection , no where near done yet ⚡️
I actually just picked up ASM 253 and it's a great book
"Undervalued" because it's "too cheap" as the "first cover appearance" of a failed character that never got his own books and that cover doesn't feature the book's title character at all? Congrats on 20k! Love your vids. Never stop making them!
Thanks Ned!
Completely agree on new avengers 8. In fact, 8-11 of that run all sell for like $5, and each of them feature characters or events but I think could have those books selling for 10 to 15 apiece
the guardians issue is really under quoted here.
all the midranges sell for 300 minimum
and pulped copies are 100$ min

First time I saw your video. Very cool in that you pointed out many comics I didn't know about!
I think man-thing related books are undervalued books
Hulk 401 is worth dog shit and is the first appearance of Maestro in the well of truth
💀 👻 I thought 💭 I’d had that Ghost Rider, now I’m looking forward to hunt for it.
Awesome list! I agree!
Thanks Patriot!
Now that I know about these comics, I’m probably going to look for them.
🤙I had a feeling you'd put a few books you mentioned in previous videos on this list including WOS 97
I'm surprised you didn't put the 2nd appearance of Deadpool on here.
Nick Cage reprises his role of Ghost Rider!?!?!?!?
Awesome update as always, keep up the great work💥💥💥💥💥
Great video man ive been searching everywhere for that first crossbones hopefully one day i can find it
Spidey got a free pass for backhanding Mary Jane, but Hank Pym has never been able to live down the time he hit the Wasp (while he was having a mental breakdown, by the way).
“So many Marvel books are over priced” understatement of the year lmao
Surprised by the Spidermans! I going to look for a few of these books.
Another great undervalued marvel book is dark hawk number one
What a great idea for a video. Can't wait to win those books. I hope I'm not late to the party/contest.
Hope that ghost rider didn't get on there because that huge stack you're sitting on lol
IMO first appearance of Kaine is also really undervalued
Just started watching your content but I love it and appreciate it
Love this types of informative videos. Thanks!
Thinking about picking up Asm 300 is it worth it ??
Great stuff man. I always try to pick up under valued books when I can, they may not always be under valued. Keep up the good content!
Thanks David!
Love the recent series of under priced comics! Could you do one on non-dc and marvel comics pls!
Love this content.. Brand new to the collecting game, so finding creators that seem like they just have a blast with it is my standard, keep it up!
Ghost rider is the comic that got me into the hobby so I’ll be looking out for issue 31
Another under-valued key: ASM 256, 1st app. of Puma
Pretty sure I actually have all these except Guardians
