Awesome video man! Do these ones have the Auto Locking Rachet feature? I'm looking for replacement belts right now and can't seem to find the model number for the belts with the ALR. Thanks!
@supersearles umm not sure on the ALR. They operate like factory camaro seat belts. They won't lock out if u pull on them. Like my old trans am seat belts
Good question! Plastic pry tools, 1/2" torque wrench, I believe it was a T50 star bit in 1/2" socket. I'd just buy a set as u need small one too for where seat belt attaches to seat. Socket set. It was pretty basic tools now that I'm thinking about it.
@@EssMotorsports it was my mistake I bought a new wrench and torque was so low that I didn’t feel the click and kept going. but finally got it done they look sick!!
@Dave Lombardo from Tasca? Cause I looked at ordering from other places and yes they tried to charge stupid prices for shipping cause the front belts are hazardous
@Dave Lombardo ugh that changed then. I would suggest using those part numbers and shopping around to find a place that won't charge dumb shipping. Or maybe local GM dealer
I would think physically they would work. The only thing I can think of is they changed the connectors. But it might just 23 is so new yet places don't know for sure
Actually the new seat belts all come with new hardware with locktite on them. U only reuse the little bolts that just hold the front seat belts in place. Makes it really easy
Thx for the video. One thing only: The part when you open up the sides could be better explained. That is the whole difference in making your life miserable or not
good work i got a blue camaro and i got in accident wana sell front seat bealts to me mine deployed and this fixers at e - bay are doin a shiti work they already reworked 3 times is killin me with shiping to them so i give up so if u wana sell yours shoot me a price
Great video, I've been looking for this exact video for years! This is going to be my winter 2024 project, on my SS.
Thanks! Definitely not the cheapest upgrade but it really does add a lot to the interior as far as looks!
Thanks for the help I just did this swap went nice and easy besides not alot of room to move around 😂
Right! That is the hardest part!
I try to find the same video but on a convertible. The plastic panel in rear is difficult to remove on a convertible. Good movie you made!
I have grandchildren and a 2013 Camaro any way I can instal a third seat belt in the back so I can drive them safely?

Good video! I was thinking about doing the same! I was use this as a reference when I get them
For reference took me 1.5 months to get them. GM backorder.
What all tools where needed :)?

man i went online to see the torque and 10 nm to inches says 88 but it broke the bolt what torque did u use
What bolt? 88 inch/lbs?
@@EssMotorsports bolt #2 on top of the retractor, 88 inch/lbs but it was too much. what did u use?
@alejo7891 88 inch/lbs it shouldn't have broke the bolt. It must have been yielded prior. Just tighten bolt with wrench to a good amount call it good.

@@alejo7891 glad u got her done. The Red Seat belts add a lot to the look of the interior!!!
Another awesome video thanks 👍 did you have to flash anything?
Like flash on a computer side? No it's all plug and play.
@@EssMotorsports just put all four belts in the cart and shipping is $201 to Buffalo NY. You paid only $20 to get them shipped to you?

are these gonna fit a 2023, it says it wont in the website but i don’t see why not
I would think physically they would work. The only thing I can think of is they changed the connectors. But it might just 23 is so new yet places don't know for sure
Sorry if this is covered in the video (can’t play the audio right now)… but is there additional hardware that is required or is it all reused?

@@EssMotorsports thanks man, much appreciated! This project has been on my list for a while. Other places want like $600 for the belts
@@ckeys_vt yep No Problem
@@ckeys_vt yeah I didn't want to pay $600+ either
