@@cprooks Thank you for your feedback! Just like our emblem, the OEM emblem also requires reversing the wires to function correctly on some years and models. We’ve been selling this product for many years and have had an exceptionally low rate of warranty issues. Plus, unlike the OEM option, which only comes with a 1-year warranty, we back our product with a lifetime warranty. Many customers also report dissatisfaction with the OEM emblem, citing that it’s nearly twice the price and significantly dimmer compared to ours. Our emblem offers a much brighter and more vibrant appearance. If you’re not comfortable reversing the wires, there’s a simpler solution: 1. Locate the two plugs on the harness-one with 4 pins and one with 2 pins. 2. Unplug the 2-pin connector and reconnect it upside down so that the arrows on both plugs face away from each other. This quick adjustment should resolve any compatibility concerns. Let us know if you have any other questions or need assistance!
Hi JC Thank you for this VIDEO so much! I took my 2024 CAMARO 1SS into the DEALERSHIP to Instal the Illumanated BOW TIE and at first the Technician wanted to REMOVE my Front Bumper until I showed him out Video! But know my HOOD is raised up on the Left Side and the Gap is wider on the Left Side more than the Right?
Nice! Glad I could help. Your hood is out of line, it’s easy to get out of line once you remove the front header plate. But it’s also easy to adjust back. The two rubber grommets can twist to lower or raise each side and the two screws in the middle can be loosened or tightened to raise the front of the hood. Also, if the latching mechanism for your hood wasn’t placed exactly where it was before removal, it will be out of line. I also went over this in the video if you need video reference👍🏻
I have 2023 Camaro with standard LT1 headlights. Is there anyway to make the white runnings light stay Amber all the time. Like the color they change to when they blinking for lane changes.
Got a question, I'm replacement my alternator, but was told to check my alternator fuse or relay, I can't find them can u Tell me where, for a 2016 camaro ss
Great install video. I have that same lighted bowtie, and I hate it because it's a different color than the headlights. I just went ahead and spent the extra dough on the GM one, and it looks way better. 🤟😎
According to the directions from the factory you are not supposed to connect it to the side marker lamp, the directions show it connected to the DRL, I am thinking of installing this on a 2019 Camaro LT all it has is the side marker lights, my question is, if you can reverse the wires at the end you plug into the lightup bowtie? Instead of cutting the other end at the side marker light. So that you are only cutting two wires instead of four? I saw a video where a guy only cut the end at the bowtie and only cut the 2 wires and reversed them? Would this work? I have tried contacting the dealership to install this but they want like $400 to install this. I feel that is way too much. Do you have any advice? Also I just realized you are using an aftermarket kit, do you know if this will be the same with the OEM Illuminated BowTie Kit? Thank you
Let me tell you what I did… it’s very simple you do not need to cut the wires at all I installed mine today! At the 11:15 mark where he say connect the plug into the wire coming off the bow tie all you have to do if flip it over! He didn’t need to splice the wire at all… the male and female side of the plug fit into each other each way! But if you do what he did and plug it the wrong way it wont come on! Same thing happen to me the I flipped the plug over and it worked no problem! He never reversed polarity he just splice the wire so that it was correct polarity! Think about this way for example you got a white and a black wire coming from side marker then you got a white and black wire coming out of the bow tie if you you don’t plug it correctly so that the white is connecting to white and black is connecting to black it won’t work!!! But he would have simply unplugged the connection and flipped it… if he wouldn’t have had to splice! I hope this helps! I’m trying to get ahold of him to let him know!
