Thanks for this one Danny and Greg 👍 😊 Loved your take on the song. It makes so much more sense to me now. There is no sense fearing something so much it stops you living. Great life advice. I never really think you 'die' anyway, the energy we create as living beings never disappears. I still feel all those around me I have lost. I carry them with me always 💕
The natural world can teach us so much. I think the animals, insects, birds and trees are way smarter and better at life than we are. They don't get as weighted down and worried about stuff they cannot control 😊
Great stuff guys. This song is now making me want to watch all 15 seasons of Supernatural again!!! 😅😅
Take care 👋 ❤❤
Interesting point of view
I agree. It came mostly from Danny, but I did pick up on it. Thank you for watching, my friend. 🤘
Great analysis. We're the only animal that's aware of our mortality. Maybe octopus. Not sure.
Thank you. 🤝Octopi are smart, but I don't know if they are aware of their own mortality. Mother octopi will stave themselves as they guard their eggs. When the eggs hatch, the mother basically dies of starvation. It's just their natural cycle. Are there any other songs that you would like to see analyzed like this @RussInCanada?

Good question. I'll think on this for a minute.
When I found out the song was a love song, I was floored, but after the guy from BOC explained it, the lyrics made more sense.
Yeah, I've seen that too. but I mean, how songs have different interpretations? and it's hard for me to believe he didn't. have nature and the fact put nothing else, really fears death except humans. Even if it was an accident, he wrote a beautiful song that encapsulates that well. Thank you, though, for your time to watch it and to engage. It means the world to us.

That song was iconic right out of the box.
First time I heard that opening I was entranced by it.
Then you add the soft, almost mournful singing style mixed with the subject matter, it almost defied a category.
It wasn’t Rock.
It wasn’t really Hard Rock.
It was its own animal.
It’s a perfectly built song.
I put it up there with “Stairway to Heaven,” and, “Hotel California.”
Good timing for this discussion. Pole shift happening now;micronova on the way on the next 20-30 years,if not sooner. The science is on Suspicious Observers on UA-cam. ...Music helps me to smile at my fears and mostly shrug them off.
Yeah, me and a couple of my friends were going over it the other day, and we looked up what, you know, he meant when writing this. But it means so much more. I mean, nature itself doesn't fear the Reaper and doesn't. fear an afterlife or even think about it. Nature always lives in the moment, and they are way more connected to this earth than we are. And I'm not even talking about a spiritual sense. They have that too, obviously, because they know where to go and how to do it and when to do it without being taught. So to be connected physically is to be connected spiritually in my opinion. It's a beautiful symphony of life.
