Watching your videos has helped to improve my game significantly. Thanks for talking through the hands like you do. Best of luck to you, looking forward to the next video.
LuigiKing46 Alec Torelli gave a master class that day in how to destroy one’s reputation with a single sleazy going-north move against an easy going rec player.
Even to this day, Torelli swears it wasn’t an angle. Even if it wasn’t, the way he went about explaining himself immediately after was so disingenuous it may as well be just as bad.
Hey just curious about burn cards on bomb pots. At 2:46 dealer burns only one card for both the top and bottom board, but at 6:10 a different dealer burns one card for the top board and then burns another card for the bottom board. Just curious what the proper procedure is??
I like gambling videos but appreciate those who show all their ups and downs. Have watched a lot of your downs, hope you are back for a very long time, that was nuts. And you had them all, well done and may the good cards continue for a long run. Take care Brad.
what is '900 big blinds'? @ 14:24 is that a unit of measurement for tourney success? if you enter with 200bb, and exit with 900bb after 9hrs is there a chart somewhere that tells you your efficiency over time by hour or by # hands entered?
Brad, can you explain why you didn't be the nut flush at 10:30 point especially with so many in there...creating great equity for yourself...just a checkback for deception? What are your thoughts say that was a jack high flush vs ace high?
This is my favorite poker channel. You have a great presentation. Not too technical, and you are not afraid to show the human emotion that affects all players. I always watch and like. Subscribed, of course.
I am very glad that you show all your sessions Brad, winning and losing. It shows that even good players have down swings. Poker is not an easy game to play well and players need to see the variance. It's a game where you can do everything right and still lose. Hope the trip to England is a lot of fun !
You and Andrew Neeme starting out the year with a bang!!! Good luck bro and go get them. So in the famous word of Mike Stetson "May Your Cards be Live and Your Pots be Monsters" For 2020 and your journey through poker Life.
Hi guys i would like to ask how its possible on time 3:54 when dealer burns Just one Card and put to flops she always burn once but in the Hand at time 6:00 the dealer always burn Card for every Street Wich dealer is doing wrong?
You are such a valuable part of the poker world man. Posting your losses no matter what, makes videos like these so much more fun to enjoy and root for you.
guys I have a question, when they play two boards how it is with "burning" cards? onetime dealer "burn only on the first board like in 4:37 u can see two boards but "burned" are only 3 cards and in 7:25 u can see two boards again, but here are "burned" 6 cards, so what is correct?
Been a fan for a while now man it’s been 2 years since I ran into your page late at night wanting to learn some poker and you had about 25k subscribers now you got almost 200k. Love to see you win man
Hey man, just so YOU know for sure, winnin or donatin, swingin up or down, we as players understand and got your fkn back man! Your mindset and overall strategy is what makes you a good guy to watch/learn from. That being said, i really like it when your stackin fools and not digging for more cash. Love the vlog man, love the moves.
Very nice session Brad. My first 2020 session will be tomorrow. Took off 2 weeks over the holidays. Looking forward to getting back on the felt. Have fun in England. Looking forward to that vlog.
I noticed at 2:28 and 3:47 that the dealer only burnt 1 card for both flops in the double board bomb pot but the dealer at 5:55 burnt 1 card for each flop and subsequently the turn and river. This makes a big difference because Brad wouldn’t have hit his set on the flop had the dealer only burnt 1 card (the 2 was the last card dealt on the bottom board meaning that the 2nd burnt card would have taken its place therefore the 2 would be the burn for the turn). Does anyone know why they did it differently? What is the correct way to deal a double board bomb pot?
at 8:45 This bet told you that HJ had QQ +? or how did you read that bet size? Do you think playing it just like HJ did it? excuse my bad english... Esta apuesta te dijo que HJ tenia QQ+? o como leiste ese tamaño de apuesta? crees que jugarlo asi como HJ lo hizo esta bien? disculpa mi mal ingles.
Happy to donate to my favorite cat/poker vlogger. Jaman it was your night! :) Enjoyed playing with you Brad! Houston agrees with you. Hope you come back in 2020. Hope the run good and good play continues for you this year and you have a lot of fun. Thanks for all of your good work! Enjoy London!
Congrats on that win. It’s nice to see that you’re adding wrinkles to your game. The AK hand vs KK shows how you were able to extract value out of a hand that most people wouldn’t get. Hope that I can make it to the meet up game @ the gardens
Has anyone noticed that dealers dont all do the same thing on double board pots? The dealer at 2:55 burns one and flips over both turns, yet the dealer at 6:03 burns one for both boards on the turn
Nice to see a big win. I had a great summer but have been on a huge down swing since. Looking for light at the end of the tunnel. Great Vlog keep it up.
I have been wondering when doing double board bomb pot how many times do you burn? Do you burn and lay both flops out or do you burn flop burn flop. And I see them do both on here so what's right?
Happy new year Brad. Nice to see things on the up. You ran so well there and got max value when you had it. Love your videos always entertaining and informative.
On these double board bombs, is there a specific way to deal them? During the deal, I saw 1 burn-two flops, and on other hands it was 1 burn-flop-1 burn-flop.
Not sure if you have played in London before, got back to states yesterday from there. Good experience there playing. Players seemed to frequently call light for sizable amounts quite often. Also get the London Pass (admission to most tourist sites of interest at no additional cost-it pays for itself quickly) and the Oyster Card (discount card for travel).
I noticed some inconsistent burning on the double board bomb pots. Normally should a dealer be burning on each board for each street, or just once each street?
We all respect you Bradley for having filmed and shared your losses as well. We like you so much that, of course, we prefer when you win, but poker is like life and we are with you through though times too.
Hey Brad. Love the channel. It’s helped me become a better player and the videos are very entertaining. I wanted to get your opinion about a hand I experienced recently. TLDR at the bottom. Dealt: Red Pocket 9’s Preflop: Everyone folds except BB & UTG+2. I call. Flop: Jiggity♣️ T♣️ 9♣️ I’m feeling good with bottom set in position: BB checks, UTG+2 Bets 4 big blinds, I flat thinking about the BB and all the ways the board could be used. Here’s where things get a little interesting. BB thinks it over for about 30 seconds and rips it all in. He’s got both UTG+2 and I covered. Now, I’ve played with BB before and he’s not the type to rip it just to bully two medium stacks for a couple blinds worth of chips. In my head he has a flush, straight, straight flush, or a set better than mine. A bluff really isn’t an option here. It was tough, but I thought about it and I had to lay it down. Even if I was wrong I’m still sitting at the table. It was a somewhat casual game so I laid it down showing my set and said “God I hope I was right”. BB shows the bullets. A♥️A♣️ Obviously I feel like crap about my decision. I almost never ask for a run out but I needed ANYTHING to validate my decision. So I ask the BB if the dealer could run it anyway and he agreed. Dealer turns over 5 ♠️ and... . . . . A ♦️ A sudden relief fell over me however my father, who was at the table insisted that I made the wrong play “How can you lay down trip 9s there!?” What I’m wondering, Brad (or other viewers), is what would your decision be in my seat? Noticed that some dealers do 2 burn cards for each street on the double board bomb pot and others don't? What's the correct/standard way it should be done or is there no right or wrong way?
I noticed the double bomb pot at around 7:30 that dealer burned twice the turn and river for both boards, whereas the bomb pot earlier the dealer burned only once and dealt the turn/river for both boards. But i guess everything is different in TX
Thats a good start to the new year! Im sure a lot of us who watch these videos have never, or will never, play in a pomer room in vegas. You should do a video on what to expect in a real poker room as opposed to a home game .
Hi Brad, nice session :) Just 2 questions from me, for your Aspers MUG: 1) I read you'll be playing multiple stakes. Will they be different on different days (say £1/£2, then £2/£3 then £2/£5 then £5/£5 for example, or will they be different on same days? 2) Do we have to register with Aspers or do anything in advance? Or is it first come first served basically? See you in a couple of weeks.
If you hit up Madird and like food (who doesn't) make time to go to "Mercado de San Miguel" near Plaza Mayor (main square). Fresh everything, sold in individual portions. Went in 2011, still one of my favourite food spots.

Hey Brad I understand it's your first meet up game in the Northeast coming up in February, I just started watching the vlog and it's pretty awesome and informative. What time do the games normally start I'd love to try and make it out.
the second double board bomb pot (around 6 min mark) the dealer burns twice for every street. every one ive seen in your vlogs they only burn once, is this correct?
So excited to hear you guys are going to be at MGM Springfield in February. Can't wait to see/meet both of you and hopefully score some Bradley dollars!
Nice session bro! Always good to see you catch some run good! Can’t wait to catch you back here in Austin at Texas Card House! Best of luck to you in London, I know you’ll crush it! Hopefully you get to Spain also! I’ll see ya round dude!
Random question that idk if people noticed or if you've answered, but why is it that the first two bomb pots there was only one burn card per board and the third the dealer burned one card for each street totalling 6 burn cards compared to 3 burn cards previously? Or are my eyes playing tricks on me?
Your videos are addicting my friend even though i dont understand all the lingo or strategy but it all seems learnable once commitment is made to take on this lifestyle. Having enough reserve money set aside to allow for the inevitable swings I imagine also necessary. Im living currently outside US waiting for pandemic to slow down and allow for international travel again. Im attracted to this lifestyle for some reason. To ride the highs and lows but having enough knowledge to take advantage of the opportunitys to build a bankroll while seeing the world. Sounds doable 🤠 Thanks
Observation of the double board bomb pots. When you had QJ the dealer was burning 1 card per street. When you had 22 that dealer was burning 2 cards per street. "Strange things are afoot at the circle K"
Just watched this video now… but at the Bomb pot hand at about 4:50 , that dealer only burned 3 cards… so burn, flops both boards. Burn, both turns, then burn and both rivers…. Where as the next bomb pot with the deuces, that dealer burns for each board, so 6 burns total. Pretty bad that they have dealers doing different things
At 5:05 the board is supposed to be 6 6 4. I say it correctly but the graphics are wrong. You can see the board at the end of the hand.
Brad Owen can’t wait to meet you in London man!
I really hope you can come to Montreal one day
I made some vlogs from Playground a year and a half ago. It’s a cool spot and it’d be fun to go back at some point.
