There’s been lots of comments/questions about the rake. Here’s the structure:
For lower games it was $10 cap, $1 for every $10 up to $50 pot then nothing until pot was at $100 then the other $5 pulled. High end games ($5/$5 and up) it was $7 every 1/2 hour.

I really love how you analyze hands and appreciate you sharing that insight with us. The "meta game" is still a big part of live poker. Yes, understanding GTO or the math is important too, but I still think it's the meta that wins most pots.

Cruise ships are awesome! We play on them all the time. Table odds are solid. Lots of $ to be had!
I hope on a poker focused cruise ship that the rake is reasonable? I went on Royal earlier this year and it was an insane 10% of the pot up to $15. That is hard to beat.
I don't recall the specifics of the rake but I remember hearing that everyone was impressed with how low it was comparatively. It certainly wasn't 10% up to $15: anything like that is the cruise ship trying to screw people over. This was WPT's thing, which happened to be onboard the Virgin Voyage so it was set up much better for the players.

Best night I ever had was on a boat out of FL. Played 4 hours of PL hold'em and left up $1200. Loads of fun but some angry opponents. High-tailed it back to my car when we got back to port and got out of there.
