"...I pick up pocket aces. Historically, this has been one of my favorite hands to see pre-flop." 🤣🤣🤣
Man up against Js, not sure how anyone would have played that any differently
Historically viewed as a desirable starting hand. Brilliant!!
We all know that quite rightly 5 2 is his real pre-flop favorite.
nah 🤣🤣🤣
I died
Rest in peace Doyle, forever a poker legend!
Man it hurts
Oh wow it was true today... cheers to Doyle
What?! Did he actually pass away?...
That actually hurts me no way
Rip......😢
As a dealer, seeing Brad throw that hundo to the dealer on that bluff catch with Q2 makes me want to move to Texas
At these stakes it’s a lot more common than you think….. any state. However I am FROM Texas and there’s lots of reasons to love it
You're the best Brad. RIP Doyle. In my first tournament, I hit quad eights and was gifted a copy of Super System 2. A great insight in to the game for a complete novice. Its been down hill ever since.
lol :)
Lol so that book isnt so good if u down hill
You know that's funny my very first tournament was a 1,000 dollar by in and the very first hand I hit quad 8's and got two callers too triple up and I ended up winning the game and from there on been hooked RIP Doyle very sad day in the poker world such a great guy and legendary poker player you will be missed
@@losyartdownhill is good lmao. Uphill is bad. 😂
Awesome to get a Brad video the day after learning of the passing of the true 🐐. Doyle dominated cash games for literally decades, while being far ahead of the tournament curve as well. There will never be another..RIP. Thanks Brad
Fly high Doyle. You're forever loved and remembered in the Poker World
honestly, I’m so impressed how Brad can make these videos so engaging. Yes, his stakes are not as high as Hustler, but the quality of these videos makes us sweat with him. It’s so much fun! Thank you again, Brad! Hope you come to Asia again someday for a meetup game❤❤
I like these offstream vlogs a lot more than the Hustler ones that Rampage and Mariano do when they’re just using footage from Hustler’s and not making it their own like Brad is doing
@@jcw8955 That makes 0 sense to me, its basicly the same, just better camera views.
U rather watch the felt and his chips than everyones faces and the action?
Dear Bradley,
I've said it before and I will probably say it again in the future. This has to be my favorite episode of your vlog yet. Your humor as well as your poker ability were A-Tier.
Not only did you turn what looked to be a nightmare session around but you also created a highly funny and insightful episode when it comes to aspects of table dynamics and meta game.
Keep up the excellent work.
Thank you very much. I love sessions like these when we have to overcome tough situations and make difficult decisions to end up booking a win. I appreciate you taking the time to comment.
Brad, you are the absolute best tipper to the dealers. Thank you for making our jobs awesome.
27:02 “we need to call YT to schedule an appointment with the maintenance guy so he can fix the like button” 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Always amazed by new lines Brad drops in the vlogs
That was an epic grind. I was very worried once I saw how the video started that you were going to go on tilt. Very difficult to recover when losing aces to a set. You kept your composure and you overcame adversity. Great job! RIP to the poker legend Doyle, he will forever be missed.
Wow what a session. Those 7k bets/calls were tense
tears for Doyle Brunson's passing...forever a legend at the poker table and as a good man! RIP 😢❤✌
I spit out my beer when Brad sang the poker version of "Hush Little Baby". Classic moment.
Wow, that was a marathon! Must be so mentally draining to have to work your way back in to positive territory after getting burned several times. That’s the kind of mental toughness that it takes to be a pro. Way to go Brad!
This exactly
Underrated comedy: "we pick up pocket aces. Historically, this has been one of my favorite hands to see preflop."
Historically, pocket Aces have been one of my favorite hands to see preflop 😅
Thank you B-rad on a very somber day I enjoy the video as always especially the fact that you put the rough beats on here as we all go through them but it's reassuring that even the best get the short end sometimes that's what's great about this game. Love ya Doyle thanks for a ton of great memories and getting this great game known Alot better!! Prayers to the Brunson family, Heaven is having an amazing game tonight!!!❤😢🙏🏻
BRAD!!! That was amazing. I watch all of your videos but never feel the need to comment. UNTIL NOW!!! Best video to date. Your humor and the way you played (not lucked) your way out that giant hole was truly inspiring. I am a loyal fan and will continue to be.
There isn't any problem hitting the like and sub buttons as the humor and the breakdown are exquisite! #LFG!
What a great photo of you and the Cardfather. Great video as well, in the words of Doyle from one of my favorite videos of yours “Eat my dust, sucker”
Wild ride Brad. Sometimes you've got to go with your instincts in big pots, amazing call there.
That last picture should be on your wall at home. I was fortunate enough to be in Vegas and meet Mr. Brunson on a couple of occasions in the early 2000's. Since I don't play poker for money, I talked with him about his first book about his life. He was a very down to earth man and even talked about his wife and poker kids. I expect many salutes to him on UA-cam this week. Glad to saw fit to show a memory.
Literally the smartest way I've ever seen a YT'er tell people to smash a like.
Doyle helped bring poker from the perception of a sinful, sleazy, degenerate filled game full of cheats and scalawags, to the almost honorable profession that it has attained today. The pocket 10 and 2 will now always have meaning.⚡️⚡️
Great job Brad. RIP Doyle - A true classy legend.
“I was clicking buttons and I got there”😂
Wow. What an intense session. I was feeling depresso AF about halfway through 😂
Not so sure why that caught me as hilarious, but you dropping that drink had me rolling.
Very nice comeback, Brad. Brass balls on that $7k call. RIP Doyle, poker’s G.O.A.T.
Those first few hands are just absolutely brutal bro. You played them so well but somehow they are just getting everything they need! Makes me feel not as bad because I swear it happens to me all of the time. Especially online.
Brad watching you since 3 years and have to say your subtle ironic humor became impeccable! You will get back from your loosing streak , I know it ! Fingers crossed
Brad, that snap call with 2 pair and no kicker was EPIC!!
"Pocket aces. Historically, this has been one of my favorite hands to see preflop" -- this was a legit literal laugh-out-loud moment for me. Excellently dry joke. 👍
Not going to lie, it was my second time watching the video when you started the lullaby. I too enjoy falling asleep on Monday nights to some Brad Owen poker.
Sweet dreams.
I can't believe that second $7k call; man, you have heart and commitment, as well as great people-reading skills! Glad you gutted it out and booked a huge win!
Had my head in my hands going ...oh no don't do it. 😁
Looks like a huge -EV call long term, but maybe he knew something
Brad, any chance you’ll ever do any kind of event in Atlantic City? I live in New Jersey and I don’t travel far very often so that’s probably the only chance I’ll ever get to meet you.
I’m actually dying in laughter bc I’m falling asleep watching this😂 love watching your videos before I pass out
I gave the video a thumbs up the moment Brad started singing :)
RIP Doug Branson ❤ Legend
RIP to a poker legend 💔 Doyle will be forever remembered 😔
Btw brad pretty sure its "fist bump" not "fist pump"
Wow! Have watched nearly ALL your blogs and this one, easily the most stress filled, gutsy, exciting play I have ever seen. $7000 call with not much, geez! Great work! :)
It's so crazy but I was just trying to fall back asleep again at 2 AM when Brad starts joking about being ASMR.
Epic comeback, Brad. We were on the emotional roller coaster with you. Thanks for the ride. RiP Doyle.
I would like Brad to put the date, not of the posting on UA-cam, but the date of the event being presented. Being a subscriber I try to sort of keep track of how Brad's year is going and it is hard with all the jumping around and delayed UA-cam videos.
This was a session from Tuesday, May 9th. Very little delay on this.
Looking forward to playing Doyle in Poker Heaven. RIP SIR You were a great man. A role model for everyone who reads this. RIP Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out and loudly proclaiming: Wow, what a ride!
Man... I just wish there was a poker/card room like that around me. Hollywood Casino in PA took out all of their poker rooms years ago.
Hard to keep going in cash when you take such a beating early on. Massive respect to you Brad. I've been getting beaten silly for the last few days with similar hands. Just got to keep getting it in good. After seeing some more beatings as the video progressed I can only say that I'd have ducked out well before you did. Nothing was going right for you.
The fact that I was dozing off right when brad brought up falling asleep to his videos… I feel attacked
I'm awake, nice cash, Brad...😊
Thoughts and prayers to the Brunson Family...😢
Wow, what a call at the end. Your videos are some of the best entertainment out there.
Lovely lullaby there, Mr. Owen! And RIP Doyle
I swear the Lodge is Brad's Kryptonite, lol. You always run ugh there, though you managed to get it back. Surprised on that hand towards the end of the vid, when you AA's=, you didn't bet more on the river? There wasn't much the guy probably had to be afraid of- I'll chalk it up to it being 2am and you having had a rollercoaster experience of play. Always fun to watch though.
Those damn pocket jiggities! Great session.
Awesome session to watch. A lot of players would take those early beats then tilt off everything and you hung in and sharpened up for the battle back. Cool session for aspiring players to see
What an up and down day, brother. Glad you came out up in the end. RIP DOYLE!
Love the vids Brad... Im playing in my 1st WSOP event, Event #70 this year June 30...Hope I see you..get an autograph from ya and Ill buy you a drink :)
That was a hell of a call with the Q2. Great job!!
“One of my favorite hands to see preflop”… AA…really?! 😆😆
If I were Brad, I would’ve been so shell shocked playing at that location, especially after earlier in the day. I wouldn’t even be able to know if I want good hands or not. Seems like every good hand you’re dealt only causes you to lose the maximum when someone hits a 4-outer or something.
Brad - Just love your vlog, Because of your content and commentary, which is smart and sometimes even comedic, But mostly because it can be used as a training tool for all Thank You
Also will see the Great Doyle Bronson again one day. I always remember our first meeting at the Five Diamonds. You were so kind that day to give me some encouragement and a great autograph too. The Poker World will surely miss a Legend. 😢
Bro that hym was 🔥
Omg I fell asleep watching this video. My partner paused the video because I fell asleep. Now I've woken up and begun watching and within a minute Brad says that some of you might be watching this to sleep right now.
I loved the Bradley lullaby 😉😂💙✌️
Question. I assume you are renting the facilities, but is there anyway you could convince your landlord to putting some sound suppression material either on the walls or ceiling. You would be please with the quality of the increased sound ambiance.
😂😂 I remember when I met you I told you that same thing about falling asleep to your videos
Rip Doyle, absolute legend❤
This was one of your most entertaining vlogs ever, what an insane session
Another great vlog in the books. Your lullaby was an unexpected bonus😂. Lastly, raise a glass to Doyle Brunson, from one poker loving player who appreciated all he brought to the game❤
You and spraggy… Something hypnotic about you guys.. I doze off accidentally mid day so many times
Loved the lullaby! 🤣
RIP Doyle gone too soon. I’m going all in with 10-2 preflop next time I can
One of the best vlogs yet crazy🎉
I especially like to fall asleep to episode 194. It's not that it's boring, it's just that Brad has a slow, calm, even voice.
That’s not calm, that’s sad voice from all the bad beats
Hell of a session. Sometimes battling all the way back from some bad runouts feel better than huge steamrolls. Sometimes. I think this was one of those times.
I played my first ever live PLO tournament a few months ago at the lodge. I also got boat over boated to bust out within 20 minutes. Brutal
Bro I was literally falling asleep as you said that 😂😂😂
Falling to sleep to poker VLOGs and streams was basically how I ended every day until my wife couldn't stand it anymore and now requires me to pass out to Supernatural re-runs.
That lullaby is the official poker player lullaby from now on.
Holy s@#t! Great comeback from all those tough beats. From some serious run bad Brad to being up..great calls there at the end💪💪
What a roller coaster. Way to stick with it!
Just found out about Doyle. Rip. Glad people like you Brad are continuing to build the poker community he started.
That hand gesture means 'your number one!'
That was the most dynamic session you have recorded and shown to your loyal legions. Very impressive.
I remember that one time when I flopped top 2 and actually won the hand..... Lol... who am I kidding... That's never happened...
awesome bluff brad!
Love the mindset, crazy good call. Steel ones
"I don't want to play Doug heads up because he has slightly more heads up experience than me."
LMAO!
OMG! Love the lullaby 😴😴
Tough table… gg Brad!!
Hello Brad, nice comeback happy for you. As for the bad news about The God Father of Poker. He will truly be missed. I'm glad that I got to see you play in a game with him seated to his right. RIP Mr. Bronson😢.
FYI, I'm sure it was just a typo that you can edit: Brunson
I’m convinced AKo is your arch nemesis. Whether in your hands, or opponents. So rough bro, I just went thru that today. Coolered on 3 flips
A5s is a pure punt.
Q2 is a lovely call, villain only repping houses, which you block
I see that The Lodge is using those same crappy cards they use at Peppermill. Super tilting to watch a video and see the corners and edges bent up, not lying flat on the table. Come on Doug, Brad and Andrew. Invest in better playing cards.
,,,,, I can NOT believe you made it with Queen 2... >>???? GREAT JOB!!!!!!
Well done, tough session. Playing poker for a living requires such a strong mindset
Grats on the session, Brad!!! That was a lot of fun to watch while also being pretty intense. Keep up the good work! 🍻
Good job with the comeback, even better you got revenge on Daniel (he got you good, then you caught him bluffing for a better stack).
RIP Dolly. Playing 10-2 for the rest of the year.
Go get em Brad.
