It makes me sad to know we no longer will hear Mike's voice as an announcer in WPT. Mike and Vince had such great chemistry, I grew up listening to them. They use to crack me up R.I.P Mike!

Eric Sidel always seems to self destruct at final tables.
It's a rather amazing thing to watch Eric at a final table in the flesh, so to speak (not just the highlight hands).
Many great players still play solid at a final table, but Eric often goes fires away recklessly. On many occasions, he hammers away players fearlessly with success but it's a risky approach and sometimes he appears to shoot off money and self-destruct. His style is 'crash or crash through' at the final and his record overall is very good. Difficult to play against, but if his opponents pick up hands that can stand action, Eric can sometimes be eliminated early when some argue he had a stack to win.
