Irish people finally understood it, otherwise they would dissapear. Sometimes, I think McGregor's whole job is to be a walking publicity stunt. He's always drawing attention to himself and therefore - the UFC as a whole. He brings lots of asses to seats and eyes to the screens. I wouldn't be surprised if he has a special clause in his contract to be an ass on purpose just so people tune in to see how much of an ass he can be. He's a fighter but first and foremost he's an agitator.
Khabib might be better fighter but he's a quiet fellow by comparison so only few closest friends and family watch him.

Conor can't even speak Irish. He just said "Can I go to the toilet" which is a phrase every child is taught in school so they can ask for permission to go toilet but he just added "on the bus" at the end. Not many people here speak Irish fluently

He was able to answer a basic question a child could answer then on the next question he completely stumbled and froze and the interviewer had to say translate the next question in English so he could understand. It wasn't even a hard question. It's okay that he can't speak Irish but let's not lie to ourselves. I know how to say more sentences in Spanish than Irish cos it's taught so bad over here but I wouldn't dare claim I can speak Spanish and that I'm a bit rusty
