My sister did not watch the full video. She put all the salad ingredients at once into the bowl and chopped it. She had chopped salad coming off her ears. Three to four days worth. I told her you aim to chop about 1 lb at a time. 😄
I just wanted to let you know my wooden bowl came along with the free mezzaluna knife since I used your affiliate link. They also threw in a free small sized , oh probably holds about 2 cups, but a small wooden bowl for free as well. Very nice, very pretty. Very happy with the bowl and knife, and smaller one as well. Cannot wait to make my first chopped salad in it. Just gorgeous, and you can tell it will last a lifetime.

I will be trying this later today. My Instant Pot just finished cooking some oat groats. I've had a 12" HBM cherry bowl for a few years. I might have to invest in a larger bowl. Your salad looks great, and your chopping technique has a nice beat. Now, if you chop in time to the background music ... :-)

I haven't tried chopping greens in the food chopper. I think you would need to use the pulse function so it wouldn't turn into a smoothie! You could always try it.

Hi Tami, I'm currently at TrueNorth and someone told me about your chopped salad. Fabulous video! Thank you. I'm planning to split my salad up between meals. How long will the chopped salad stay fresh? Overnight to eat the next day; or chop in the morning to eat for lunch and dinner?
We use the holland wood bowl to chop in the morning and usually eat them for lunch, and sometimes (if I get to full at lunch) I finish them off for a side at dinner. Before they are chopped they keep in the fridge for several days.
So where the bowl???? I did what you said n didn't find a site where I can get the bowl. You people are so irritating when you don't explain things correctly
I went on to buy the bowl and a set of salad utensils. I used your link, however, it did not say anything about getting the mezzalune knife. How do I let them know. I deleted it until I can find out, as I do want the knife. Even if it does not show up, does their system automatically know to send the knife even though it does not show on the order, or in the shopping cart? Thanks ahead of time. It does help to follow instructions.
Oh my - yes we only chop about a pound at a time - just the amount we intend to eat right then. We don’t chop the salad ahead of time.

Trader Joe’s has frozen roasted corn which would be great in this.

I already have the bowl, but I need a new knife. Is it possible to get just the knife. I didn't see it on their website. Does it have a brand name?
