Ingredients for Creamy Shrimp Alfredo Pasta:
►3/4 lb fettuccine or penne pasta
►1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
►1 Tbsp oil
►1 small onion, finely chopped
►2 Tbsp butter
►1 garlic clove
►1/3 cup white wine (I used Ste Chapelle Chardonnay ~$6)
►2 cups heavy whipping cream
►1/3 cup parmesan cheese
►S&P to taste
►Sprinkle of paprika

Uzo E the alcohol get evaporated right as it hits the heat and cooked
As long as your parents are okay with it, you can still use the wine because the alcohol gets burned off during the cooking process -- all that's left is the flavor. But your trick is good too, I'm sure! :)

Truly a five star recipe! Made this for a dinner party, with hot dinner rolls. Compliments kept coming the guests really loved it! I used fusilli pasta because it is easier for people to eat and it has festive feeling great for a dinner party setting.

This chef just makes me smile ear-to-ear! I tried this recipe last evening, sans the wine. Not a fan of wine (or whine). And I cooked this outside on the side-burner of my grill. As I was plating it, neighbors amazingly appeared from both side yard fences. I used colossal shrimp and used finely chopped garlic and added a clove of chopped ginger to the shrimp pan for a little more sweetness. WOW! I tell you this: food does taste better when cooked outside. I'm a new subscriber and enjoy Natasha's cooking and infectious smile very much.

They are prawns not shrimp, shrimp are tiny.
Something is happening here but you don't know what Depends on what size you buy. You can buy large, jumbo, or colaso size shrimp

I followed your recipe with a couple tweaks, a little extra garlic and parmesan and some double smoked bacon bits. My wife usually doesn't like Alfredo but she LOVES this dish.

This so easy and so good, have made it twice once for my wife and once for friends. Everyone of the friends wanted the recipes we served 10 people just added more of the of the ingredients and it was all gone. For the bread look it up Marcella's kitchen garlic rolls in garlic sauce.
