- My unboxing of the Logitech Heavy Equipment Bundle for use with Euro Truck Simulator 2.
This package contains a steering wheel with two D pads, two analogue joysticks, centre button and two rear buttons. The peddles are a brake and accelerator mounted on a footplate. Then comes the side panel with 24 buttons and six axis control stick. - Ігри
Your such a cool lad, loved this vid, even though I've played ets2 for a little while, still enjoying watching it, especially watching this
Thanks man 👍
Now that ETS2 allows you to control soo much more of the truck that side panel would come in handy
Great vid. Really enjoyed it. That Darens got a lot to answer for. 👍🏻
Thanks 👍
I have the bundle coming tomorrow, I'll be using it on a PS4, I purchased Bus Simulator 21, refrained from trying it with a controller, I'm hoping my laptop is capable of running ETS2 and giving it a shot, I can't wait!!!.
Nice review mate. Yesterday I've bought the same nice equipment. Thanks for sharing your review take care mate
Thanks
Interesting! I was curious what you assigned the different buttons for, but stayed for different reasons. The labeling was a good idea, I'll do it as well on my new side panel. A long while ago I was looking at the Farming sim pack like yours, but decided on a Thrustmaster because of a lot of reviewers said that the Saitek wheel isn't any good. I bought a T150 for £180, then new pedals with clutch for £120, then a th8a shifter for £100, and finally I just bought an used side panel today for £80. I also use my old smart phone with Sim Dash app mountet on a homemade bracket, haha. Are you happy with the wheel and pedals? I'm definitivly going to make labels like yours to keep track of what's what on the side panel :)
Hi sorry for the delay in replying but it has been a busy time at work. There are so many buttons on this system and I have only mapped a few for basic controls. The sensitivity of the steering does take time to get right but I find it works sufficiently for my needs. Thanks for watching and subscribing why not check out some of my flight sim videos?
@@togatech1111 I'll check out your flight sim videos :)
That sounds like an interesting setup! Logitech has a good sale right now, the G920 for $200 or this entire setup for $150 (the same price as just the panel on their website.. lolll), so I thought about getting this but if the steering wheel is meh, I'll just get that G29 for half the price and use it for ATS. Finding a good shifter though is tough, the Logitech one is $60 and seems super cheap
@@casedistorted I need a new wheel, I mounted my wheel upside down, and it jammed so I can't get it off again 😅 I screwed on a thin birch plywood piece to the base and mounted a few buttons myself, but dismantled it after I got the side panel. It looks a mess. A G29 is up there on my list.
Excellent video, thanx for sharing, putting order tomorrow . nb: no dartford tunnel?
Thanks for watching
You instantly went the wrong way! Haha
I know its a wonder I find my way home at night. Thanks for Subscribing and watching.
Cool! How much did it all cost? Link or brand and model?
Hi thanks for watching. The Logitech heavy equipment bundle was £149 from Curry’s and the game was £3.75 on special from Steam
What have you got all your steering wheel sensitivity and %’s at as i use this bundle but as soon as i start turning it shoots into a full lock
Hi sorry for the delay in replying. I watched some Iracing videos to get the settings right as you are right the steering sensitivity is too sensitive.
It can’t find my side panel do some one now Whats wrong cause i don’t can find
How do you change jour controls
Just use the settings control options in fs2020 or any software the games recognise the button presses. Thanks for watching
Does force feedback work in ETS2?
Sorry I can not answer that question as I do not have a force feedback wheel. Thanks for watching have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New year.
I've literally just bought this controller today for the same game. It cost me £200 and it doesn't work. The game sees the side panel but not the wheel and I have no idea why. Nobody seems to have any clue what's wrong with it and the few random guesses that people have made are useless. There doesn't seem to be any support from Logitech either. To say I'm frustrated with it would be an understatement.
I can’t understand it . The wheel could be faulty if I remember it has to be powered and also try to use a USB 3.0
@@togatech1111 it doesn't need to be powered. I finally found out what the problem is. Called Microsoft support and it turns out the wheel isn't supported in windows 11 but Logitech don't mention that and as of yet, they haven't bothered to do an update for windows 11
Oh that’s crazy I haven’t upgraded to windows 11 as there have been too many bad reviews. I hope you can get it sorted 👍
@@togatech1111 Unfortunately its a brand new laptop and pre installed with windows 11 but I'm going to try rolling it back to windows 10 and see what happens
@@michaelhamilton6553 Di you have an update of what happened? I just spent 200 on it aswell. For the last day I've been trying to fix this isuse
from what i see only the panel worth all the other parts have quality and specs in plastic garbage category (quality on panel is garbage 2 but you can use in many games not only farm
