the real legend goes 84km/h in a 80 zone (:
And only 84 km/h when its on 83 it has to be changed
fr
And there me koleka 150kmh without tachograf
That's more like a badass 😂
I do as much as the truck can in autobahns
Let's be honest everyone becomes the noob when they are bored
100% 🤣🤣
Speaking about hooking up to a trailer, I think that a legend should use the advanced trailer coupling enabled, so the 5th wheel is physical, and you have to be even more precise when coupling to a trailer
You are not wrong!
That is very correct, also if you're a legend then you would know that at the round about with 2 lanes you have to use the inner lane because of the direction he is going and the outer lane is for vehicles taking either the first or the second exit. that's turning right or going straight.
two more things, install the mod that remove the boxes where your trailer is and needs to be unloaded, just has a square in the floor , and a real driver looks out of his window when reversing into a bay or into a trailer
going to give that ago this afternoon after work
@@RedLine0069 They do yes. If spaces are very narrow and required to see a better views then yes they'll looks out of the windows to the trailers and the environments nearby
The noob is driving like an amazon driver when you click on same day delivery
😂
true story
I play this Game since it came out.
I have soo much experience that i drive like a Legend but sometimes i also want to have fun and drive like a noob :).
Nice video!
Just like me! 🤣👍
I can relate so much. Specially when I don't have much time to play but want to earn some cash and I pick a 3000km route for almost 300k€. Then I FLOOR the truck, getting to 140km/h or more if the road allows. Also, rain chance at 25%, no route detours or however they are called, realistic fuel consumption,. default hardest trailer parking... But I turnes off fines, speed limit (obviously) and the need to rest. And yes, sometimes I drive like an absolute crazy dude because I find it funny😂
Also i play with steering wheel + pedals + shifting gear., and first person all the time, except when the ocasional mishap happens, like when i hit an invisible thing and i just want to doublecheck...Also i don't use the more realistic stuff like the 5th wheel stuff (actually i'm not sure about this one, the trailer doesn't attach automatically, i have to manouver and then press a button) and realistic brakes because i haven't figured yet how they work... and sometimes, as i said, i just wanna have fun and relax.
Legends are the ones who played ETS1 to Scania Drivibg Simulator to ETS2
What am i then? I have been driving Hard truck 1/2, 18 wos aa/pttm/haulin and the the newer ones.
@tompettersson3814 I feel you.
Been playing almost every title I could get my parents to buy me or that I could save up for (2001 kid here, pocket-money was low lmao) since Truck Saver (2007)
😂😮
I started just like that, just because my pc at the time couldnt run ets2. Scania simulator was nice for challenges
Hell yeahhh SDS was fun
I played Scania Truck Driving Simulator and 18WOS *after* ETS2 :p
Come on guys, we all know that the "Legend" is just Milan showing off his ETS2 skills 😂
🤣🤣
I think I fit somewhere between Pro and legend (First person always, but automatic always and no steering wheel lol), probably because I used to be a truck driver. I'm retired now and like to play occasionally for fun. I never drove outside UK so it's kinda fun driving in places I never did IRL. I've also been known to clip the curb occasionally (in game not IRL lol).
Try American Truck Simulator, if you haven't already, that'll be a drastically different experience.
@@proletariennenaturiste'merica 🇺🇸🦅🗽
I use "Proper Automatic Gearbox" - my truck in game has automatic 6 speed gearbox and i have change R-N-D wheen needed. Plus dedicated keys for up and downshift.
Still is realistic - i have no "gearbox controller"
I have been playing SCS games since 2008 and for myself I find it most fun to drive like I'm actually behind the wheel of a big lorry/truck and just do my job efficiently and without doing any damage to the tractor and the trailer.
Same here. I have a few mods to make it more immersive and realistic as well.
I would say I'm a legend one, but it's easier cause I'm a truck driver IRL haha
I really like the fact that you kept the right lane in that round about, pretty fun to see how almost everyone think it's a mistake but actually, this is the way you have to do it, just wanna mention that you're supposed to blink left so no one try to pass you in that round about
Is the fact that you have to keep the right lane a truck thing? At least on my driving license I was told to go on the left lane, as everyone else said
@@AnEagle Yup, you learn to do so when you're having trucks driving lessons
@@GeoffreyArrius ooh, if I were to guess it's to assume change lane because of the reduced visibility, or because it's a larger turning circle?
@@AnEagle Well, you need all the space avaliable
"Also, the faster the customer have the goods, the better. Right?" Agreed, I want my amazon orders FASTER!
1:39 I can't stop laughing at how that car just flew away 🤣 And the driver cam's just like "huh? nevermind"
🤣🤣😅
As the bots in ETS sometimes (most of the time) could be so stupid, that was just my best dream happening)
When I just turned on my computer and launched ETS2 - I'm driving like a pro and sometimes even like a legend. But as the time goes by, after a few hours of driving I'm starting to feel tired and begin to act like a noob 😂
Driving like Legends really is satisfying, it does add a lot to the simulation aspect of the game, but sometimes with friends it is very fun to drive a bit more recklessly, as this game has a good potential for multiplayer fun
I'm happy to be counted as a legend, been on the roads of ETS and TMP since 2016
great vid. i cant see me playing this without a steering wheel. i still do some of the noob things after all these years but i do enjoy taking my time and enjoying the trip i find it very relaxing after work
Thanks Bro you helped me correct my mistakes when driving in the game thanks a lot Man
You can actually damage the goods while coupling them.
I would use the retarder if my steering wheel had a lever similar to the real one, also would like one for turn signals and lights. That would be awesome.
Do I get extra points for driving manual?
I have a technical question. How can I bind the analogue paddles on the wheel (fanatec advance paddle module) for the look left and right? Because when I try in game settings it doesn't work properly. Thanks!
I most of the time play it realistically, but once in a while gunning down the highway at 150-160 km/h and tearing up the city at 120 km/h is really fun. Also, I like to haul rather heavy loads with the 6 speed transmission.
Gay
Legends will switch on advanced trailer coupling and won't reverse too slowly to attach the trailer firmly
Bro, you don't need to use left blinker, when you're in roundabout.
In some countries it is common to use the left signal when you enter the roundabout. But certainly not keeping it going like in the vid.
Also .. coming from a country where this is not the case and might be misunderstood by other traffic participants.. it just feels wrong to me~
@@ittadakimaho in Slovakia, Czech Republic, Poland, Austria and other european countries you have to use only right when you're leaving
My driving instructor always said to use the left blinker when going left on roundabouts.
You could even fail your driving test if you have a super strict driving examiner
I am from Netherlands
@@MrRobin1991 I am from the Netherlands, and some driving instructors indeed say that in my experience.
But it's definitely not true.
@@MrRobin1991Netherlands doesn't understand proper vehicles so that says a lot.
Bro can you make a video like the safe mods which support TMP? Interior customization, lightining etc and skins
I am glad that i am a Legend, always love to drive the full simulation out of it! Keep N' Haulin' !
I drive for real and I try to immerse myself into the game as much as possible. Raising the suspension when the road is a bit too steep. Using advanced trailer connection etc. I do use retarder often but not strictly. Slowing down or not rollin out on a hill I'll use it but in-town rarely. Another thing in the industry: "everyone can learn something from someone"
Turns out I was a legend at first, then pro, then nub.
combine of everything. rarely use caliper brake, climbing at high speed, using signal, and re route for efficience trip.
i got the game 1 week ago, have maybe 30+ hours in game and i've never once used 3rd person or had to rearrange my position for attaching trailers. mirrors only while using my mouse/head to look out the window. i honestly didn't even know there was even a 3rd person camera until maybe 3 days into playing. guess i'm a natural legend.
To be honest I'm a noob (regarding speed limits only) but always use my signals. And as for attaching the trailer I use only the 1st person camera. So I'm a mix of the 3. Thanks Milan.😊
I wish the systems like cruise control and the automatic gears worked like in real trucks. On a real volvo FH 2022, the adaptative cruise control will optimize gearing and fuel saving on hillclimbs, because it recognizes the topography of the terrain and predicts climbs and descents. But that's a very complex system to implement in ETS2 so you gotta use manual gears.
So, I seem to be a mix of all.
Also, you forgot the "Tries to conserve fuel because it is expensive!"-Noob (doesn't make any real difference in money), the "Tries to conserve Fuel because it is a Challenge"-Pro and the "Conserves Fuel because the Enviroment!"-Legend via the Way one drives.
Not sure where I fit in. I use signals etc, don’t drive automatic transmission but prefer fully realistic 18spd with clutch. However, I do honk at left lane hogs and might give em a nudge when they don’t hear and speed limits are guidelines. As in RL, speeds set in some locations are set too low
When I play ETS2 and there is some highway, I usually like going 90km/h even if only 80km/h is allowed or some road work is there but I usually follow all other rules in the game.😄
Would call it realistic anyways, a lot of truck drivers are driving with 90km/h irl.
That goofy ahh 8x4 scania makes it even funnier😂
What sound mod are you using for the Scania?
thabks for choosing Porto ! I pass on some of those paths everyday!
Não sou de lá, mas tmb já lá passei 😁👍
A real legend trucker stops at every service station for a KFC or Maccy D’s at every opportunity
I'm definitely a Pro with some Legends traits. Mostly realistic, but not at the expense of relaxing/fun.
im somewhere between pro and Legend i think ^^
in try to use only the first person view 99,9% of the time. But when manouvering backwards and couple to a trailer im looking out of my side window and not only using mirrors just because you can see better and well its also normal in RL ^^
Sometimes if i get stuck somewhere and i dont know why because the view is limited then i use the 3rd person camera.
But other all yes, i try to hold it realistic as posible. I will also ordering the new "Hori Force Feedback Truck Control System" later this year :D Hyped
Im a GOD, accordin to this criteria😂😂😂
Not only use adv coupling, but even lower my suspension to hitch a trailer 😂
Keep up good vids 😂
and turn on hazard signals
I often swing between the three lol. There's days where I want it to treat it just as a game, but there's also days I want to respect the simulation part of it. Depends on my mood at the time that I play. But then again I'm just using a gamepad so...
The hill climbing and gear reduction .. not sure if that is just a fault on my side or the simulations side but .. usually lowering gear by going away from automatic results in pretty much the same loss of speed and no noticable changes. Its very apparent with especially heavy loads.
Again .. lacking a ton of 'research' data here .. but in my attempts to optimize climbing .. this is usually my experience with ets/ats.
You forgot the real toll strategy. Drive really fast at the toll where it has a gate behind another vehicle so that you skip the toll. 😂
you are forgetting the downhill. Noob going flat as usual, pro going max allowed speed, legend going off throttle just passed the hill , using inertia to get back to speed and save fuel, using retarder if speed gets too high. 😋
Noobs are actually gods, with an entire trucking empire
i fall between the pros and the noobs. i floor my truck a lot especially on hill climb but didn't honk on the Ai, i aware of my surrounding and try to drive as careful as i can be, and i do at most +4 from the speed limit except on descent, and always on first person! :D
On a roundabout you should only use blinker when you exit it ;) At least that's how we have it in Austria.
I've heard about that. Here is Portugal we do this way 😅😅
But u need to cross the lane left on u, left blinker is okay on it
I like how this game refused to die off like 99% of all other steam games from 2012😂
When i had my old wheel i was a noob, but since i made a new account for a fresh start. I'm a pro. At first there wasn't signals but i added them and just drive the speed limit with cruise control enjoying the environment
I used to drive like a noob and lost interest in the game now i drive like a legend and i’m enjoying it
to much interesting and fun video)
Legend has it that Legends are still stuck in one delivery job 😢
The legend's pretty realistic, except for the hillclimb part. The company I used to work for wouldn't be happy with 1800 rpm uphill - means higher fuel consuption. This way the legend would earn less money than me for the same distance.
It's good to know I'm (usually) a Pro!
Funny to think back to my n00b days and clipping people all the time on roundabouts and after toll booths 🤣
The hardest part is still remembering to ignore the satnav and just use the minimap in a complex junction 😁
Did you know i started playing this game because i got to play it on a race sim setup and it was on sale so i just bought it and i didn't expect to play it as much as i do and i also play on a steering wheel nog
I am between pro and legend. I use a pricy steering wheel with manual transmition. I only use 1st person even when coupling the trailer. I try and respect every rule of the traffic and per total I try and get a very realistic experience.
real legends in ets2 always use advanced trailer coupling
how did you get mini scania on your panel?
1:41 bro got absolutely punted
To me, the Legend would go so fast he lifts one side but always saves it.
I mix the three types, according to my mood hehehehehe
who does not enjoy a bit of need for speed euro truck style lol
@@thebagfather4633 , hahaha exactly!
pro and legend are normally not racing the delivery timer and next loan repayment right?
Sometimes I drive like a Noob, mostly like a Pro and sometimes like a legend lol ^^
Are you playing with a sound mod ?
The game does not change the speed if it's 90 on a sign the game still has the current speed
The legend doesn't know how to drive properly on a roundabout, I don't think he's actually a legend. Anyway, really nice video keep up the good work!!!
Feels like a playstyle discrimination.
There is nothing wrong in running red lights or driving at 150km/h in a video game. I will mostly play like this no matter how skilled and experienced I become in ETS. That doesn't make me or many other players with such a playstyle noobs.
Multiplayer is of course another topic but nobody would care if you're driving at full throttle but not ramming anyone around and following some basic road rules when doing so.
Great video🎉 ets2 is for legends and pros
how much ram you got in ur pc ? also : Legend uses TrackIR or any head tracking to simulate real life driving !!
I played ets since 2011. I love driving like a maniac while doing things considered "legend" I know how to use retarder and engine brake and I always take advantage of the torque curve on hills. Basic stuff
Legends will use 3rd person camera, AFTER placing their truck in neutral and parking brake engaged. Then they can "walk" around to asses the situation before doing a difficult maneuver. After all, legends don't want to accidentally cause damage to the property or their truck.
Im playing on the Steam Deck so in some cases I'm between all 3 since I have limitation of buttons that I can use.
Since the first time I played this game, I played it already trying to be a legend. Maybe 15 years on flightsims made me like this. lol
"It's very common this type of player to honk at AI", yeah, thats me.
😂😅
Hello brother, I request you to send a video about keyboard driving settings and key assignment settings, you drive very well.
The real legend is quiet. No matter what theyre watching on youtube regarding ETS or ATS
I have key binding to all the features like retarder engine brake etc but i cant really use them all because i drive with a controller
Am i an ultimate? I always drive 150kmh but I feel like I have never had an accident?
I can identify myself somewhere between Pro and Legend :D
Me driving at 150kmh constantly but still signaling and using 1st person cam all the time yet honking and flashing the AI
I used to slip between Noob/Pro/Legend on a whim. 🙊
in the cities max 55 km/h outside city max is the sign limit for cars including highways using the no stop toll gates using intelligent sequential transmission i use keyboard
I can easily go from Legend to Noob in one minute... especially when I get bored somehow or miss an exit
what semiautomatic? I use stick shift with clutch and 2 speed ranges for maximum immersion
Well... true
Whats the HSV from the first Clip from Noob?
1:13 Next: Gods, They use VR or a real truck to attach the trailer XD
Hi Milan, very good video, a pleasure to watch :)
What and the sound/mod used in your Scania truck? Thank you so much !
Legend in a job from Liverpool to Plymouth, noob in a job from Aberdeen to Istanbul. Pro in Scandinavia 😅
I think about 90% of the time I ride somewhere between pro and legend.
But sometimes I get crazy and I also like to push myself without limiting myself to anything.
And I always like to honk at NPCs in their cars because they often drive like idiots 🤣
my man just used a turn signal to enter a roundabout?
some legends dont use a gps and find their way based on roadsigns
Me in ATS: *Drives 78 in a 75 zone*
So I'm Legend Pro? Sterling wheel, VR and always camera form inside the truck. ❤❤❤ Love this game. When I was a kid my dream was to be a truck driver but the driving licence was too expensive. Today is too late I'm too old.
As a low end pc player, i cant reverse in 1 st person and read signs. So I'm pro i guess. BTW nice video as always!
I am mostly between pro and legend, but I question on the 80 km/h, for me its mostly 50, 56 and in UK its 60, I don’t understand how yah can go up to 80 km/h
The noob is me lol. I’ve never played this game, but I think I would play the noob play style at first just to see what it’s like.
Luego está el Legend Noob.
Legend cuando vas de ruta.
Noob cuando vas por la mercancía.
Cool video Milan thank you so much ❤
