You may want to use one of the mods that implements shuttle mode, so that the super stiff brake pedal is only used to slow you down, not used to reverse your vehicle. Then the accelerator will always be used to increase speed in whatever direction the shuttle is set to. Or you could swap the keybindings for clutch and brake, as the clutch spring is similar to the accelerator pedal. Also set the deadzones much lower, like 4-5%.
You have a 14% deadzone on make that zero then it’s realistic also get rid of force feedback as it don’t work on fs, also the paddle shifters are L1 and R1 so they do work as a button.
L1 and R1 are located on the wheel face and are white on the X Box version while on the PS/PC version they're blue. The left and right hat switch is used to cycle between vehicles.
For FS19 I also use an Enhanced Driving mod - which gives you a key select for forward/reverse toggle, and makes the accelerator and brake work like you'd expect them to.

I've had dual Side Panels since they released 3 or 4 years ago... both still work great... the only thing that 'broke' was the rubber 'jacket' around the stick lost the glue holding it to the stick... but that does not impede it working. Of course, mine was before Saitek was bought by satan :)
I’ve been using the g920 since September for farm sim on xbox and so far I LOVE it. It works very well and it makes for realistic work. And I’ve been using my xbox controler to change the view and do the frontloader work.
I have the same steering wheel and pedal setup, I would recommend opening up the pedals and on the brake remove the rubber stopper. It will b a whole lot better
That side panel would be great for photo editing in lightroom... back in the day I mapped a PS2 style controller and used to get paid to edit weddings for others in lightrioom.
The one thing I’ve missed is the steering wheel adjustment as I’ve just plugged it in the Xbox and has given me a spring steering setting but need both hands to do full lock😳😤
DJ the joystick on the sidepannel has 2 buttons red and black , if you press the black button until a light 💡 comes on on the black button ... use the joystick to - look around -
For the break pedal you just need to remove a rubber stop. One the rubber has been removed tou will no long need to put full body weight to stop. It's a mod alot of people with that setup have done and you can find videos on how to remove it

Yeah go into your settings in the main menu and remove all the deadzones and you will have a much better experience. Using the wheel on fs19 takes alot of trial and error

if you press the brake pedal once then right back to it again it will slow you down a little faster. i do this with the controller i do this with the whole setup with the side panel. it takes some time to get used to. but it does work pretty well if you still use the steering wheel and pedals.
dj ik u probs wont read this but if u want it to turn instanly when u move the wheel change the deadzone to 1% it makes it so when u turn just a little bit it will turn exactly the way u turn
Vic Steurs with the controller, which sucks btw! I had a Thrustmaster TMX on my XB1 so I had no choice but to use the controller. That’s why I sold it. But kinda miss it not gonna lie.
also you have to rebind your actions to the buttons on the control panel on fs because they are not bound to xbox or kbm binds they are their own binds

a great tip do not change to 900deegree rotaion in the logitech software becaous it affects the games and the rotation it self use 200degrees rotation in fs19 900 is for drifting an racing and for truck games ETS2 AND ATS

Hey dj you can take the bottom of your pedals off and what I did was switched the clutch spring to the brake and the brake spring to the clutch that's what I did and it makes it a lot easier
Go to RUN, type joy.cpl to set up the wheel and peddles and windows level, when you press the brake only apply limited pressure, save and exit, load game and the brake is far more responsive, rinse and repeat until you like the feel of it.

Hey DJ been watching your videos for about 2 months now, finally had a day off, came up with a setup for plowing you’re gonna love, works on PS4 so I assume all platforms and revolutionizes the way you view plowing.
Take the pedals apart and remove the black cube spacer in the brake pedal. Dont forget to calibrate after. N you'd be much more enjoyable to watch without the weird voice changes :)
Except he unplugged the xbox controller in the video. It's the in game sensitivity settings that need to be tweeted until he finds what works best for him.
Does the side panel work on the Xbox as I’ve got the sailtek and it doesn’t work atol but the steering wheel works great but the only thing is the steering is a bit stiff making it tricky using the looking stick as you need both hands to steer

Go on the logitech software and make a profile for fs19 then turn off autocentering on games without force feedback because fs19 has no force feedback

if you want the steering wheel input to be exact turn up your steering sensitivities until the in game wheel matches yours

You should use 450 degrees for the wheel. 900 degrees is too much, you can change it in logitech software. Thanks for the great video.

One thing I suggest is going into the key bind section and properly setting up I use 2 joysticks for excavators and had to set it up like that
For me, once I downloaded the FS19 custom profile through the Logitech software, and fine tuned it a bit, the wheel performs extremely well.
Change your dedzone on you steering week for FS that’s what Daggerwin has to do

My wheel does that looping too it’s because it’s calibrating because on some games it uses force feedback wich makes it do what your in game wheels do

Not knowing your complete setup, but could there be a conflict between your original x-box controller and the controls on the steering wheel?

You would have to turn the rotation degrees down to probably 360 or 540 if you can but it's currently set to like 920 I think

You need to set Axis 1 deadzone to 0 so it will work like a car when u turn it
