As a beginner in the industry, I just got in at SUNRUN, I thank you for all your content. Thank you for inspiring and motivating me but most of all by showing me and everyone watching that as long as you put in the work, care about the home owner, treat them with dignity, respect, and like a friend, you will be successful. Thank you for opening the doors for me to this industry. Because of your channel I put in my resume to SUNRUN and now im a part of an amazing team helping homeowners in CA. Words can not explain my graditude and apriciation for you, your content, and everything you do to impact homeowners, reps with experience, and noobies like me.

Sunrun in our area usually gives systems that are way too small just to reduce costs and their batteries are not good
@@tuckerpowell9196 With all do respect you are generalizing who gives the small systems. What is likely happening is the SUNRUN rep sits with the person, they have the conversation, and the home owner is all about the immediate savings. It sound like the rep or maybe even the office in your area are to agreeable with the home owner. As a result they present the homeowner the numbers that the home owner wats to see and they like it. The rep most likely does tell them and recommends the bigger system but the home owner only sees the immediate saving and not the benefits and long term saving of the bigger system. Also, when the costumer is fixated on the immediate system they will opt in for the “shyft” this is the best cost effective battery. We explain to them the limitation of this battery, we insist they get the Tesla batteries (one of the best out there) but at the end its the homeowners decision. If the home owner is fixated in the immediate saving they will go for the shyft even when the rep recommends otherwise. Now the shyft system is not bad at all, the shyft system its actually a really really good product however it doesn’t give you some of the benefits the higher quality batteries give you.
Anyways, what I’m trying to say is, do not be so fast as to blame it on SUNRUN. Most likely the office in your area or individual reps that represent your area are too agreeable with the homeowner even when its not in the benefit of the homeowner. However, there is only so much we can recommend the homeowner and show them the value of bigger systems and higher quality batteries.
Regardless, i am sure that even with those smaller systems and shyft batteries they are way better off having SUNRUN than being chained to their local utility company.

Wow the part that got me is how Taylor said a few times he isn’t even sure if it will go through yet, even walking away at the end he says hopefully they approve the last step. Felt like it made the customer want it more
I know he’s so fluent and on his feet, like everythjng is textbook and things that I understand are right to say but in the moment being able to pullback from the client even at that point is tremendous
I'm really impressed but at times felt like you talked over them. It worked now but I would be way more patient with older customers. You gave me more of a feeling of a salesperson than an adviser in solar energy. Still though, really impressive pitch, love your vids man, they've helped me a lot!
A pitch is a baseball throw you got to clean up your vocabulary its a presentation
